This is a hybrid role with plenty of flexibility. You’ll mostly work from home, but will attend our Head Office in King’s Cross around 1–2 days per week to support interviews, attend meetings, or respond to specific business needs. Some weeks may be fully remote – it all depends on recruitment activity.
About you:
- Demonstrable experience of working in a busy office environment within Recruitment/HR with experience of working with and maintaining HR and Recruitment systems, including but not limited to ATS (applicant tracking systems), payroll, HR and DBS services.
- A strong understanding of the key administrative tasks carried out within a recruitment process and of the legal requirements of the recruitment process and HR department.
- A pro-active approach and ability to work using own initiative.
- Able to understand and follow written policies and procedures, maintain confidentiality and securely protect data with an attention to detail with the ability to process and update information accurately.
- Strong time management skills, able to effectively manage workload, multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- Able to use MS Office package (particularly Word, Excel and Outlook) at an intermediate level.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills – able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with a variety of people from candidates to hiring managers etc. and ability to work effectively as part of a team and build good working relationships at all levels.

Transforming Lives for Good (TLG) are a national Christian charity working in partnership with local churches to bring struggling children hope and a future. Building on the huge success of TLG Early Intervention Coaching, TLG Therapeutic Support will be a new way for TLG, with partner churches, to provide support in school for the increasing number of pupils struggling to cope due to their emotional, relational, and mental health experiences. In this role we are looking for an individual that thrives working with children and young people in a school context and is passionate about supporting pupils and their families struggling with emotional, relational, and mental health challenges. The ideal candidate will be a qualified counsellor with an aptitude for creativity whether this is music and drama, sport and outdoor recreation or other fields of kinaesthetic development. The TLG Therapeutic Counsellor will be present each week in the school, providing specialist trauma aware care for these children, whilst supporting staff and parents/carers too, so we're looking for an individual who can build and foster strong relationships.

Listening Books is a UK charity providing an audiobook lending service to children and adults who cannot access printed books due to illness, disability, learning or mental health conditions such as anxiety and depression.
About the role
Listening Books provides membership across the UK, with a subsidised membership fee of £25 per year for individuals, and free membership to those who cannot afford to pay a fee. The service is provided directly to individuals, but also through working with hospices, children’s hospitals, care homes and schools.
The Membership and Marketing Assistant will work within the Membership and PR team to help expand awareness of the charity’s work and increase membership in line with the PR and Marketing Strategy.
The Person we are looking for
We are looking for someone with a passion for books and accessibility, who will enjoy the opportunities and challenges of working in a small organisation.
This role is mainly focused around maintaining our social media accounts, using these tools to grow and engage our membership, so you’ll enjoy creating appropriate content and interacting with people online. Regular tasks include running an online book group and hosting author interviews, writing blogs, creating partnerships with other charities (for online activities, sharing of information etc) and helping the membership team with designing leaflets, posters and other content.
As this is a part time role (21 hours per week), you’ll need to manage and divide your time consistently and effectively to meet your recruitment and marketing objectives. Excellent time management is essential. You’ll have a good understanding of social media best practices and awareness of accessibility standards for content creation, as well as being equally comfortable speaking to members and partners on the phone, online or in person.

We are looking for an Individual Giving Fundraiser to join a warm team with a large National health charity, to help deliver the successful annual direct marketing recruitment programmes. This is a maternity cover contract.
This can be a London hybrid or UK homebased role, with the requirement of travel once a month into the London office with travel cost covered.

The Role
Join a team to develop the marketing plan for individual online and offline campaigns with all stakeholders.
Manage the approach to audience targeting and segmentation, working with external media agencies for digital and cold direct mail campaigns.
Manage campaign budgets and ensure accurate and complete records are kept.
Research into projects, case studies, production methods and other charities approaches to feed into the creative process.
The Candidate
Experience in direct marketing for a charity.
Clear and accurate written skills and copy editing.
Ability to work at a detailed level as well as develop campaign strategy.
Good numerical skills and ability to manage and prepare financial information, and analyse campaign results.

Community Cleanup Champion
Are you a community-minded person who is self-confident, energetic, reliable and enjoys being outside?
There are part-time roles available with community litter picking charity CleanupUK, who need help in their mission to engage people in looking after their local environment.
If you have a few hours a week to spend encouraging local communities and organisations to litter pick, then this could really suit you.
CleanupUK is recruiting three Community Cleanup Champions to work closely with our partner organisations in one of the following areas, encouraging local litter picking via our Cleanup Hub network:

One role covering: Salford and Manchester

Two roles covering: Camden, Enfield, Hackney, Haringey, and Tower Hamlets (Split of boroughs to be decided)
Cleanup hubs are spaces to store equipment for individuals and groups in the community to use. By hosting this equipment and loaning it out, Cleanup Hubs are championing volunteering in the community and promoting litter picking.
CleanupUK provides equipment and promotional support to help Cleanup Hubs get started with litter picking and engaging local people.
Cleanup Champions work closely with Cleanup Hubs and other partner organisations to encourage more people to get involved in litter picking locally.
We are keen to find cheerful people, with a sense of fun, who care about the environment and enjoy chatting to people of all backgrounds.
Main Purpose of the Role:

To increase the number of people borrowing litter picking equipment from the Cleanup Hubs in your local area.

To represent CleanupUK at a local level by attending litter picking events and supporting the development of the Cleanup Hub network.

To develop strong relationships with partner organisations in the community:

Supporting existing Cleanup Hubs to increase levels of engagement in their area by contacting new groups.

Research and develop potential new partner organisations.
Key Tasks include:

Liaising with Cleanup Hubs and local communities.

Hosting and attending events and reporting back to CleanpUK’s Operational Team.

Helping to keep active records of the litter picking that is taking place. This includes: ensuring litter picking statistics are being logged online by hubs, taking photos for our social media channels, and making notes on our shared database.

Promoting the project locally, both on the ground and online.

Online research to help us to identify new community partners, and attending online or face to face meetings with new prospective partners.

Attending monthly team meetings online, and an annual face to face day-long team meeting.

Developing an awareness of local funding opportunities and communicating these to our fundraising team.

Occasional support to CleanupUK’s corporate partnership team may also be required such as leading a litter picking for a company.

The Advocacy, Advice and Information department works to empower people and communities, and challenge stigma and disadvantage caused by Mental Health problems. We champion individual’s voices, uphold their rights, and promote personal autonomy through the provision of high quality information, advice, and advocacy support.
The purpose of this role is to provide professional advocacy to all eligible patients. To ensure that patients voices are heard and respected, rights upheld, and to facilitate positive engagement with ward staff, professionals involved in their care, treatment planning processes, and relevant meetings. This may be facilitated through attendance at patient’s forums, ward meetings, working with patients on a one to one basis providing information, representation and support to develop self-advocacy skills; and developing new forums and forms of support.
Duties will include providing professional advocacy to all patients, informing them of their rights and supporting them with any issues that are impacting them during their hospital admission. Ensuring that advocacy is available for all patients, that appropriate methods of communication are available in order to meet the needs of all patients, and to be able to adapt to changing ward based or external changes.
This role is providing specialist advocacy for 12 Forensic Wards at Chase Farm Hospital and in community locations.
The successful candidate will have experience of working in a Forensic Advocacy Role within a Psychiatric Inpatient Setting and have at least 3 years experience of working in an Advocacy Role.
