The Key Responsibilities we will entrust you with:
HR administration
- Support Senior Manager, HR & Operations in day-to-day delivery of ISEAL´s HR provision
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee files, contracts, and HR records in line with legal requirements in the UK and other locations of employment
- Support onboarding processes, coordinating and overseeing employee inductions, including ownership of keeping Employee Handbook up to date
- Help with and monitor the implementation and administration of all HR policies, procedures and tools
- Develop and deliver guidance and training for ISEAL staff and line managers about HR policies, practices and procedures
- Organise timely review of policies and communication of updates or changes to any such documents and procedures
- Coordinate annual performance review processes, ensuring timely completion of documents
- When required, support recruitment process managed by external consultant
Improvement to Processes
- Input to continued improvement of Learning and Development provision
- Implement move to new HR system, including contributing ideas for how best to use the system
- Support revision of HR policies to ensure all policies are up-to-date and new policies produced if needed
Systems, data and reporting
- Improve processes and systems for HR data capture and to ensure consistent and accurate data
- Help identify an appropriate HR system for increased automation of HR processes and employee self service functions
- Analyse employee and HR data and help prepare regular reports
Essential experience, knowledge and attributes
- Experience working in the HR function in a small to medium sized organisation
- Experience working on learning and development function
- Previous experience in an administration or coordination role, working with a variety of administrative systems and tools
- Track record in contributing to improving processes or procedures
- Strong ability to communicate and work effectively with individuals in a partly remote, international environment, including occasional international time-zone calls
- Service-oriented attitude and good interpersonal skills enabling effective relationships with internal clients and other stakeholders

The Role
As part of our strategy for growth and national impact, SCAA is seeking a motivated individual to manage our newly formed Data function, as Data and Insights Manager. This is a hands-on managerial role, which will contribute to both the immediate data management requirements and lead on the development of the longer-term Data and Insights Strategy for SCAA.
The successful candidate will be instrumental in embedding a culture of data-driven decision making, using insights and analysis to support future growth, with a particular focus on fundraising, marketing and supporter engagement. They will ensure the right frameworks and infrastructure are in place to allow for effective data management and data-driven decision-making across the charity.
This role can be fully remote, with the option to work from Perth Airport, where SCAA headquarters are located or our Aberdeen base at Aberdeen Airport, if preferred. Occasional travel to our Perth base will be required for the successful candidate. SCAA supports flexible and hybrid working arrangements—our current approach typically includes two office days per week for those working on a hybrid basis. The usual hours and days of work will be Monday to Friday, 9am—5pm.
About You
Essential
- Significant experience leading data strategy, governance or CRM development in a fundraising, marketing or customer insight environment.
- Strong knowledge of data protection and GDPR compliance, with understanding of DPO responsibilities.
- Demonstrable experience in designing and interpreting data analysis and insights to inform strategic decisions.
- Experience overseeing CRM systems from a strategic perspective, including planning for improvements or new systems.
- Working knowledge of Power BI or other data visualisation tools from a user or strategic oversight perspective.
- Excellent leadership and line management skills, with experience developing staff and building data capability within the wider team.
- Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders with complex data insights.

The Royal Geographical Society (with the Institute of British Geographers) is the learned society and professional body for geography and geographers. About You and the Role
The Front of House Receptionist will help deliver the provision of an efficient and welcoming service as the first point of contact with the Society, together with other administrative duties in support of the Facilities teams operation of the premises and the efficient use of its rooms.
More than 150,000 visitors come through the Society’s doors each year to enjoy both the Society’s own resources and activities, and the events of a wide variety of not for profit and commercial organisations who hire the 750 seat Ondaatje Theatre and other of the Society’s fine rooms. The Front of House Receptionist is the vital first point of contact for callers, visitors, members, staff, and tenants, as well as undertaking administrative duties in support of the Facilities team operation of the premises and the efficient use of its rooms.
The Front of House Receptionists work as a flexible team. They complement each other and support the wider team in both event management and operation. The post requires a broad knowledge of the Society’s activities in general, plus a more detailed understanding of the work handled by the various departments of the Society, and its tenants. Close attention to the weekly programme of activities is critical, together with awareness of unpublicised activities and of future events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reception
- Ensuring that Reception is always staffed between 9.00am and 5:30pm on weekdays, in conjunction with the fellow Front of House Receptionist on duty and other members of the Facilities team.
- Receiving visitors to the Society arriving at Reception, ensuring that security procedures are followed, and directing them as necessary to the appropriate rooms. Assisting visitors with enquiries and requests; calling on the appropriate members of staff when necessary.
- Event support
- Supporting Society and external events outside of normal working hours involving either early morning starts or late evening finishes. Duties will include welcoming and supporting external event organisers to ensure that the Society delivers a high quality of service to its customers. Overtime will be paid for these additional hours, and sufficient notice will be provided
- Handling of enquiries and recording bookings for the Society’s own meetings and events on the events database.
- Switchboard
- Operating the telephone switchboard, receiving, and disseminating calls helpfully, quickly, and efficiently.
- Administration
- Recording new staff, tenants, and volunteers onto all relevant contact lists.
- Ensuring that the Society’s Safety Policy is read and understood, and all relevant contact details are recorded on the contact database.
- Post duties
- Sorting and franking the external post in an accurate and timely manner for the daily collection.
- Managing the franking machine via the supplier to ensure the unit is supplied with sufficient credit, supplies and the ordering of supplies
- Other
- Act as First Aider. Training will be provided. Dealing with First Aid incidents. Deputising for the building First Aid Coordinator to always ensure an adequate corps of certified First Aiders, liaising on training and maintaining first aid kits throughout the building including the reordering of supplies.
- Act as Fire Warden. Training will be provided. Deputising for the Fire Incident Coordinator to always ensure an adequate corps of certified Fire Wardens. Undertaking weekly building checks ensuring compliance with fire safety.
Salary and Benefits:
This is a full time, permanent contract. The salary range for this post is £27,675-£28,550 per annum, pro rata depending on experience and qualifications. The post is based in Kensington, London.

Job description
The Capacity Development unit seeks an officer to support the implementation of the Advocacy Institute programme.The Advocacy Institute is a flagship programme of the NCDA that strengthens NCD civil society with a focus on coalition building and advocacy. It includes Seed, Accelerator and Regional tracks reflecting the different levels of readiness of alliances and their needs. The Seed track supports the establishment and strengthening of NCD civil society networks incountries/regions where these are non-existent or nascent. The Accelerator track works with established NCD alliances to spur advocacy efforts where there are windows of opportunity for specific policy change. The Regional track supports coalition building, advocacy and accountability opportunities of regional alliances. The programme supports selectedgeographies via a combination of grants, technical assistance, peer-to-peer learning, and training; the position will also support the delivery of such offerings.
The Capacity Development Officer will support the roll-out of the Seed and Accelerator tracks, currently in the last year of the Advocacy Institute third phase 2024-2026, and its work with different national alliances aiming to increase the capacity of NCD alliances to drive effective locally-owned advocacy campaigns. In 2026, the officer will also support the evaluation process for the third phase and the design and scoping of the Advocacy Institute fourth phase.
Core responsibilities:
•Support the roll out of Advocacy Institute particularly the seed and accelerator tracks in their different components: grants, technical support, and trainings.
•Support the CD unit in grant management duties, including grantee communications, revision of technical and financial proposals, grant award and grantee reporting.
•Support the organisation of the Advocacy Institute trainings, webinars and events as required, includingparticipant support, administrative functions, supporting curriculum development, and evaluation.
·Support the evaluation process of the third phase of the Advocacy Institute (2024-2026).
·Support the scoping of the fourth phase of the Advocacy Institute.
·Leverage NCDA expertise providing technical assistance to alliances and facilitating networking opportunities, enable access to NCDA expertise, advocacy advice and support, and also access to a broader network of advocates who can provide peer-to-peer support.
•Support the provision of written content to promote regional and national activity through NCD Alliancecommunication channels, including social media and website.
•Support the maintenance of regular communications with national NCD alliances for advocacy and network updates.
•Support the maintenance of an updated contacts database of regional and national NCD alliances.
•Support the development of research and knowledge products as needed (e.g., civil society mappings,guides, reports, programme documentation, etc.).
•Support the maintenance of up-to-date Capacity Development content in the NCDA website.
•Handle administrative responsibilities in support of Capacity Development activities as needed.
•Support the mobilisation of regional and national NCD alliances in support of global advocacy campaigns,including Global Week for Action, and any other opportunities.
Required competencies:
·Advanced university degree in public health, international relations, public policy, or similar, with a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in the non-profit area.
·Demonstrated interest and understanding of global health and development; policy-oriented research and advocacy, knowledge of NCDs would be ideal, particularly on aspects related to NCD prevention (e.g., alcohol control, food policies, environmental health/air pollution) and control (e.g. access to medicines, Universal health coverage, primary health care, NcDs/HIV integration) and NCD financing. Health policy and/or public health background is preferred.
·International work experience is highly desired, as well as professional knowledge of research, advocacy, policy and/or programmes.
·Excellent organisational and strategic planning skills and ability to successfully manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
·Capacity to work independently and collaboratively in an international team environment with solid interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
·Excellent judgment, strategic thinker, initiative taker.
·Excellent analysis, writing and oral communications skills in English – foreign language skills are a plus (Spanish and/or French).
·Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

You will join a friendly, collaborative team of six within the wider Income Generation and Grants Directorate of 23. The Events and Supporter Engagement Team includes the Head of Events and Supporter Engagement, Events Fundraising Manager, Digital Fundraising and Engagement Executive, another Individual Giving and Legacies Manager, and two Supporter Engagement Officers. Together, we raise funds from individuals through events, digital campaigns, memorial and legacy giving, regular and payroll giving, and one-off donations. To succeed as our Individual Giving and Legacies Manager, you will bring:
- Proven experience in legacy giving and individual giving environments

About the role
This role builds on work that we have been doing for decades to support and empower LGBT people who have experienced abuse or violence. Your work will enable TNBI people to feel supported, heard and empowered in the face of abuse and violence, and pave the way to a safer future for our community.
You will be joining our advocacy and support team, supporting TNBI survivors across the UK. You will work directly with TNBI victims/survivors, offering them a space to talk and think through options, helping them plan what they want to do, and offering assistance in getting what they need from services. Your work will focus on needs specifically related to experiences of abuse or violence, including issues such as wellbeing, support with the criminal and civil justice process, safety and access to other services to enable survivors to cope and recover. You will be empathetic and thoughtful in your approach to understanding your clients’ needs, while remaining boundaried and mindful of self-care.

Family Support Worker – Refuge

As a Family Support Worker, you will have a caseload of women who will have support plans that you will put in place and oversee as well as working with colleagues to ensure the smooth running of the refuge. You will have the ability to keep accurate records and data and be able to work to deadlines. You will have a solid understanding of DA and its effects on victims and children, be proactive and have a person-centred approach. The post holder will be expected to drive the company vehicles and will require a full clean driving licence held for a minimum of two years (insurance requirement for use of work vehicles). You will have experience of working in a multi-agency setting and undertaking face-to-face work with clients. It is desirable but not essential that you hold either IDVA/DAPA qualification. The ability to speak a foreign language, together with a strong understanding of the needs of minoritised communities is also desirable but not essential
