Summary
The Church of England Pensions Board ("the Board") is a statutory body which is a corporate trustee and administrator of four pension schemes, including both defined benefit (final salary, hybrid and CARE) and defined contribution arrangements. Almost 44, 000 people and 700 Church organisations rely on the Board for their pensions. The Board also provides housing services, providing over 2,400 residents with retirement housing.
The Board's investment team stewards approximately £3.4 billion in a diversified investment portfolio. The team are responsible for ensuring these funds are invested responsibly and with consideration to the ethical values of the Church.
The purpose of this role is to support and deliver key responsible investment and stewardship functions within the Pensions Board, enabling the Board to maintain a position as a recognised leader in responsible investment. This role will be line managed by the Managing Director, Responsible Investment and will work alongside two other Responsible Investment Analysts within a Responsible Investment team of seven.
- Hybrid working with 1-2 days in office preferred
- A salary of £58,000 per annum, plus age-related pension contributions between 8-15% of salary. We will also match any pension contributions you make up to an additional 3% of your salary.
- 25 days annual leave (increasing to 30 days within 5 years) plus eight bank holidays and three additional days (pro-rated if working part-time).

School Governance and Admissions Officer
We wish to appoint a skilled and experienced team member to be the lead officer for school governance and admissions in Church of England schools across the Diocese. The post holder will work closely with the Director and Deputy Director of Education, schools, governors and senior leadership teams.

About the Role

The principal duties include:
- Providing advice and support relating to school admissions to headteachers and school governors
- Advising school governing boards and headteachers on issues of compliance and governance, including complaints and disciplinary issues

- Working with the Deputy Director and School Effectiveness Team to address leadership and management issues in schools with the purpose of raising standards and improving outcomes for children
About You
- Be educated to degree level (or equivalent) and with experience of being a school governor, clerk to governors or have other relevant governance experience
- Have up to date knowledge and understanding of education legislation and regulation related to admissions and governance for Church Schools and Multi-Academy Trusts
- Have the ability to plan and deliver high quality training to governors and headteachers
- Be able to establish effective working relationships with a broad range of stakeholders, including governors, headteachers, academy partners and Local Authority officers
- Be committed and confident in the aims and ethos of the Diocese of Chichester as an outward facing ambassador for the diocesan Education team

About You:
To be successful as the Senior Operations Contracts Lead you will need the below experience and skills:
- A thorough understanding of and knowledge of the issues relating to women in the criminal justice system
- A sound knowledge of safeguarding adult and children principles, child abuse, child protection issues and safeguarding
- A good knowledge and understanding of organisational systems and frameworks, line management and project management
- Significant experience, likely to have been gained over several years, of strategic planning and operational management at a service manager level, and developing and delivering services at senior service management level
- Significant experience of working with women and/or service users with a complex range of needs, particularly within the criminal justice system, in custody and/or community.
- Experience of developing relationships with funders/commissioners and achieving required outcomes
- Experience of implementing quality assurance frameworks, monitoring, evaluating and measuring impact
- Strong influencing skills, enthusiasm, self-confidence, excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills , and a can do proactive solution focussed approach

About the Role

Core Purpose
This leadership role is part of the Make-A-Wish UK Extended Leadership Team (ExLT) and is responsible for shaping and driving Make-A-Wish UK’s brand, communications and entertainment strategy. Leading a team of expert communications, content and digital specialists, the role will champion a strategic and scalable approach to brand, content, and communications.
