Lambeth Palace is the London home of the Archbishop of Canterbury, his family and two religious communities. It is the centre of his ministry, worship and hospitality.

You will be responsible for supporting the Chaplain to the Archbishop of Canterbury at an Executive Assistant level. The role of the Chaplain at Lambeth Palace is to support the ministry to which God has called the Archbishop. This involves a wide variety of tasks, much of it behind the scenes. The Chaplain carries responsibility for pastoral and liturgical dimensions of the Archbishop's ministry in the Church of England, his speaking, publishing and award-giving commitments while leading on the Archbishop's first priority of the renewal of prayer and religious life.
He/she is also responsible for the pastoral care of those who work and/or live at Lambeth Palace - the 'community of communities' and the regular pattern of worship in its two chapels, in liaison with Chemin Neuf. He/she is also responsible on behalf of the Archbishop for liaison with the recently-founded Community of St Anselm.
Core Responsibilities
- Being aware and helping to deliver the Chaplain's objectives and views, and communicating these to external and internal parties, as well as maintaining discretion and confidentiality where necessary.
- Managing and prioritising communications with the Chaplain, whether by phone, e-mail, letter or in person, enabling him/her to achieve their objectives while ensuring timely responses.
- Dealing with the Chaplain's correspondence, including drafting replies to letters and emails, and where appropriate replying on their behalf. In addition to drafting briefs for the Archbishop's official engagements for which the Chaplain carries responsibility.
- Managing the Chaplain's diary, including booking rooms and offering hospitality where appropriate, and making travel arrangements.
- Organising the Chaplain's expenses and drafting budgets for the team.
- Receiving and greeting visitors, as required, on behalf of both the Chaplain and the Archbishop.
Key Requirements
- The role is primarily office based, however, there is some flexibility to all to allow for a degree of home working, specifically when there are no internal or external face-to-face meetings. This can be discussed once you have been appointed to the post.

As Exams Assistant you will support the day to day running of the examinations with a particular focus on question bank management. You will be working with the Examinations Team and examiners across all specialties. About the charity: Cavernomas look like raspberries and are found in the brain and spinal cord. They're formed of abnormal blood vessels with thin leaky walls, which can bleed at any age without warning. 1 in 625 people are thought to have a cavernoma, and whilst most people won't experience symptoms 1 in 2,700 do. Symptoms can include haemorrhages, seizures and other neurological problems. Treatment involves 'wait and see', neurosurgery or stereotactic radiosurgery; with no medications currently available.

Main purpose of the role:
The Deputy Service Coordinator splits their time between the office organising rotas, liaising with families, social services, and health care professionals, and providing a minimum of 20 hours a week of direct support, as well as one weekend a month on the rota, depending on the needs of the service.

You will assist with the day-to-day delivery of a support service across the UK, including regular line management and case management supervision of Outreach and Engagement Practitioners and Womens Services Officers. You will also support the Programme Manager in planning the set up and launch of the support service in Northern Ireland.
Alongside service delivery, you will develop innovative ways to listen to and support women experiencing gambling harm. You will incorporate the opinions of women with lived experience of gambling harm into current and any new service design and delivery to ensure the support is responsive to the diverse needs of women.
The Women’s Pathway also delivers awareness raising training for professionals and digital support tools and resources for both women and professionals across the UK. You will work collaboratively with the training provision to develop digital support content, ensuring a joined-up offer to women and professionals.

You will have demonstrable experience of case management and case management supervision for clients with varying needs who are seeking a change in behaviour to overcome harm caused.

Role Requirements
Site wide general housekeeping service – ensure that the housekeeping services is of an acceptable level and is consistent across site.
- Carry out a cleaning service in allocated buildings/rooms/areas ensuring that daily tasks are completed according to the standard operating procedures in relation to the cleanliness/hygiene standards.
- Follow infection control procedures whenever carrying out duties and ensure procedures are followed should there be an infection control outbreak.

- Ensure safe storage of cleaning materials and equipment and sufficient stock is maintained – informing the Housekeeping Supervisor of stock requiring ordering.
- Assist in the cleaning of communal areas on a daily basis and cleaning of carpets, curtains and high dusting on a rotating schedule.
- Ensure that any repairs required to fixtures and fittings are reported to the designated Facilities Helpdesk as soon as possible and any issues are reported to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
- Assist in routine housekeeping audits as outlined in the planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules and ensure any works are to agreed service levels.
- Prioritise work to complete assignments in a timely manner.
- Assist other members of the Site Services and Facilities teams as required.
- Undertake other or additional duties that are within your skills and abilities, as the organisation may reasonably require from time to time.
