Key responsibility:

• This is a dynamic role at the intersection of grassroots partnerships, evidence-building and organisational learning. You will play a key part in deepening our work with rights-holder-led and women-led partners, while helping design and coordinate Population Matters’ global grassroots network of partners, ambassadors and collaborators.

• You will help build and nurture relationships across our key regions, supporting the development of a connected, values-driven grassroots network that strengthens shared learning, collective advocacy and systems change.

• Working closely with partners, you will strengthen Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) systems, ensuring projects are ethical, evidence-based and grounded in lived realities. From developing practical tools to leading the collection of case studies, your work will translate complex impact evidence into clear, persuasive and compelling narratives for funders, media and wider audiences. Exceptional written communication skills are essential for success in this role.

• You will collaborate closely with Fundraising and Advocacy & Influencing teams to develop an Impact Compendium and support appeals, while helping implement Population Matters’ organisational MEAL framework across all goals and programmes.

What does this role do?
As High Value Events Assistant, you will:

• provide high-quality administrative and delivery support across a portfolio of flagship, bespoke and stewardship events for high value audiences.
• manage guest lists, invitations and RSVPs, ensuring accurate data handling and a seamless supporter journey.
• support the development of event content and collateral, including liaising with internal teams and sourcing compelling case studies.
• research and liaise with venues and suppliers, source prize donations and support event logistics to ensure smooth delivery.
• lead on the organisation of regular internal events, including the annual departmental conference.
• take responsibility for delivering a small number of supporter engagement events, working with major donors and corporate partners where appropriate.

• Deliver against corporate income targets in line with our fundraising strategy.

The Programmes You’ll Lead

Music Producer Club (MPC) – digital music-making for young people aged 12–18, delivered in schools, youth centres and online. Taught by ‘producer educators’ - working music producers we train to educate the next generation -, MPC builds creativity, skills and confidence while connecting participants with electronic music culture and the national curriculum.

Process – a development programme for women, non-binary and trans+ music makers. Structured across three strands for different abilities (Create, Define, Release), Process combines workshops, mentoring and masterclasses to build skills, confidence and community for underrepresented producers.

Out The Box (OTB) – hands-on analogue mixing workshops in leading London studios, giving emerging producers practical experience with desks, outboard gear and professional engineers while bridging digital and analogue production techniques.

Quality Monitoring & Evaluation

• Collect and analyse participant data, case studies and feedback, and drive solutions in response to pain points.

• Support continuous improvement by feeding programme insights into CDR’s evolving evaluation framework, learning outputs, and communications strategy.

• Ensure safeguarding, risk assessments and health and safety are adhered to across all programmes. Implementing training, good practice and further planning where necessary.

Strategic Development

• Work with senior management to scale and embed programmes nationally.

• Ensure programmes align with and contribute to the CDR Pathway, supporting participants to progress from entry-level engagement to sustained creative practice and professional development.

Organisation: Museums Association

Salary: £32,313 per annum (FTE £43,084)

Contract: Permanent, part-time. 22.5 hours per week across 3 days (0.75 FTE). As a progressive employer, the MA offers contracts based on reduced and compressed hours where a full-time contract is 30 hours per week, Monday-Thursday.

The Museums Association (MA) is seeking a part time Policy Officer to play a leading role in developing our policy and campaigns work.

In this exciting role you will have the opportunity to deliver admin support for our campaigns and policy, including Museums Change Lives, Museums and Climate Justice, Decolonising Museums, and anti-racism. You will support committees and stakeholders, help to draft policy papers and support the development and delivery of communication and dissemination plans. You will also have the opportunity to draft impactful content for our website, events and online learning, and respond to information requests to ensure that we deliver for our membership and the wider sector.

You will support and work closely with the MA’s policy and ethics lead, including delivering advocacy across the UK nations and have opportunity to develop a role in campaign areas where you have experience and/or interest.

The ideal candidate will have excellent administration and communication skills; knowledge of the policy-making process in the UK; the ability to research and write accessible, clear policy content for a range of audiences; an enthusiasm for museums and the positive difference that they can make working in partnership with their communities; and will be able to manage multiple individual pieces of work.

About the role:

Our Communications and Engagement team is responsible for engaging external audiences, supporters and beneficiaries in PACT’s work and fundraising challenges. 

As our Communications and Engagement Officer you will play a valuable role in shaping and sharing compelling content that brings PACT’s mission to life. You will:

· produce PACT communications and marketing materials that reflect our values and demonstrate our impact. This includes a programme of social media engagement, regular newsletters, press releases, internal communications, creating content for the website and capturing illuminating lived experiences for the variety of channels.

· ensure that all internal and external communications align to our brand

· raise awareness of the PACT brand and our services

· contribute to PACT’s fundraising targets with appeals and challenges

About you:

To be a successful Communications and Engagement Officer, you’ll have skills and experience in using:

· Social media for organisation and event promotion

· Analytic and insight tools to develop reach and engagement across digital platforms

· WordPress content management systems to create, edit and maintain webpages

· Mailchimp as an email marketing tool

· Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud apps, or similar graphic design platforms

· CRM programs, such as Blackbaud’s Raiser’s Edge
