These include

1. To actively seek a thorough understanding of the membership base and the issues affecting them, creating member profiles and advising and briefing stakeholders accordingly.
2. To develop a compelling offer by profile / career stage so as to maintain and improve member retention and engagement levels, and to maximise new member acquisition.
3. To maintain a thorough and up-to-date understanding of services and activities and ensure these are being packaged and communicated in the most effective way.
4. To oversee the implementation of regular market research, including competitor analysis, to identify members/stakeholder needs, to support the rationale for the development of member products and services, and to liaise with and advise other stakeholders as appropriate.
5. To develop member communications in particular around membership renewals and the on-boarding of new members, and to ensure a high-quality member experience.
6. To ensure that membership communications at all touch points within the membership journey or as part of a non-member relationship, remain relevant and up to date.
7. To oversee the new member and renewal process, which is managed by our external partner, and troubleshoot and resolve issues that they cannot

Personal Specification: 

Essential skills, knowledge and qualities: 

1. Experience of working in a customer, member or client facing role
2. Experience of developing and maintaining strong professional relationships with a range of stakeholders
3. Experience of using a CRM management system, preferably Salesforce
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to positively communicate with a wide range of people in a professional setting, with demonstrable ability to communicate effectively in challenging situations
5. Excellent planning, coordination, organisational and time management skills
6. The ability to analyse data and produce reports
7. The ability to take a proactive approach to independent working, managing your own workstreams effectively, and the confidence to take responsibility for tasks and decisions

The Opportunity

This role at WFN provides an exciting opportunity to lead on the development of our growing Winner Network Development (WND) programme, identified as one of the charity’s key areas for strategic growth and maximised impact over the coming years. We are looking for an enthusiastic and outgoing communicator who is passionate about conservation and can drive forward and create connections between our global network of over 220 conservationists, fostering knowledge exchange, capacity development and collaboration. As part of this programme the Grants and Network Manager (GNM) will help with delivery of annual thematic training workshops, with opportunity for international travel. The GNM will also assist our Head of Grants (HG) in monitoring our portfolio of active grants, with support from the Grants Assistant (GA). This is an exciting opportunity to join the Challenge Events Team at Dementia UK, where you will help coordinate the day-to-day activities of the team, providing crucial administrative support and helping to deliver excellent supporter experiences.

The Events & Fundraising Manager will work at the heart of our public events programme, helping to organise fundraising walks and other events across London and the South East, and raising funds to support the provision of free legal advice. Our events include the London Legal Walk -- an annual event which raises over £1 million each year -- regional Legal Walk events, and other fundraising events such as the Great Legal Quiz and the Great Legal Bake. About the role

We are looking for a dynamic and self-motivated fundraiser to join our successful team as we embark on a major capital campaign (NHM150) to raise £150m to transform our South Kensington site ahead of our 150th anniversary. Reporting to the Head of Philanthropy, this role will be responsible for personally securing high six- and seven-figure gift from Trusts and Foundations.

The Senior Philanthropy Manager will work closely with the Head of Philanthropy and the rest of the Philanthropy team, feeding into the overall strategy for the team. They will manage a portfolio of funder accounts which deliver long-term, high-value strategic partnerships as well as building new relationships.

The post will also manage a team of 3 – 2x Philanthropy Manager and 1 Philanthropy Executive.

The Philanthropy team has seen significant investment and there will be substantial opportunities for professional development within a world-leading cultural organisation.

About you

The role requires excellent fundraising skills, with experience in raising and managing high six- and seven-figure gifts. Candidates will need excellent communication and written experience to develop high quality applications, proposals and reports - ensuring the highest standard of cultivation and stewardship. Additionally, candidates will ensure they can work within the direct team, wider Development team and full organisation, while managing their own team to successfully achieve targets.

Remote: This role is homebased with travel for meetings, events and conferences and staff residentials.

About the Role
 
This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of youth work in England. As Policy and Public Affairs Manager at the National Youth Agency (NYA), you’ll play a central role in influencing national policy and driving change that impacts young people’s lives.
 
We’re looking for a dynamic and strategic individual to join our Policy, Insights and External Affairs Directorate. You’ll work closely with the Head of Policy and Public Affairs, line manage the Policy and Public Affairs Officer, and collaborate with colleagues and sector partners to deliver a bold and proactive policy agenda that champions youth work in policy making. Your work will ensure the voice of the NYA and the youth sector is placed at the heart of national policy and funding decisions.
 
This role is central to driving NYA’s policy impact: you will lead high-profile policy projects, build strong relationships with political and policy stakeholders, produce influential written outputs, curate strategic events, and represent the organisation at key external engagements. You’ll also be at the forefront of monitoring and interpreting developments across Westminster - from government consultations to parliamentary debates - using these insights to shape our influencing and advocacy efforts.

Key responsibilities for this role will include:
 

• Work with the Head of Policy and Public Affairs, Policy and Public Affairs Officer, and key internal and external stakeholders to help design, manage and deliver a cutting-edge policy agenda and stakeholder outreach programme
• Line manage the Policy and Public Affairs Officer, delegating work effectively and supporting their professional development
• Identify and build positive relationships with key political and policy stakeholders who are critical to advancing our mission and amplifying the voice of the youth work.
• Manage policy projects, including drafting project plans, timelines and budgets, in collaboration with key internal and external stakeholders
• Monitor the shifting national policy and political landscape, including parliamentary inquiries, consultations, political briefings and government announcements, and advise internal and external stakeholders on opportunities and risks
• Provide the secretariat for the National Youth Sector Advisory Board (NYSAB), convening the youth sector with government departments
• Build strong relationships with peer organisations and stakeholders and identify opportunities for collaborative working to further NYA’s mission
• Organise high-quality events and policy seminars to raise the profile of the organisation
• Manage the creation of a range of high-quality written outputs for various audiences, including policy briefings, blogs and consultation responses
• Work closely with the Head of Policy and Public Affairs and Local Policy and Partnerships Manager to connect and align our national and local policy influencing and work
