The role of Fundraising Lead is to drive new donor engagement and secure sustainable, multi-year funding. You will develop high value 6- and 7-figure fundraising relationships, primarily with the private sector, but also with HNWIs in the future, bringing on board new supporters, so maximising income and sustainability.

With proposals already in play with leading brands, a supportive Head of Fundraising, and active trustee involvement, this is a rare opportunity to make a visible impact in an ambitious organisation.

As Fundraising Lead, you will:

• Lead corporate new business, with full responsibility for a £300k year-one target
• Build and manage a proactive new business pipeline, using prospect research tools, networking and trustee engagement
• Secure six-figure, multi-year corporate partnerships, developing creative offers across unrestricted, programme-based and blended opportunities
• Focus in the short-medium term on corporate new business, moving to incorporate HNWIs in time
• Work with the Head of Fundraising, SMT and board members to open doors and build senior-level relationships
• Collaborate with colleagues including the account management team and bid writer to ensure seamless handover and delivery of secured partnerships
• Represent STEM Learning externally, positioning the organisation as a credible and attractive partner for major corporate supporters

Ideal skills and experience:

• Proven track record of securing six-figure corporate partnerships, ideally multi-year
• Experience building a corporate pipeline from scratch, including research, prospecting and networking
• Strong understanding of how to package and position fundraising propositions to align donor interests with organisational priorities
• Confident and credible with senior stakeholders, including trustees, boards and senior corporate contacts
• Target-driven, entrepreneurial and proactive, able to deliver short-term results while building long-term income growth
• Collaborative and resilient, with the ability to represent STEM Learning externally and inspire confidence internally

The Young Carers Lead will take responsibility for coordinating and delivering our young carers programme. This includes running two weekly sessions – one for ages 5–10 and another for ages 11–18 – with the support of our skilled sessional staff and colleagues.

The role involves a mix of face-to-face and online sessions, designed to meet the needs of young carers and to help us deliver on our strategic objectives:

• Enhancing life outside of caring: organising engaging weekly activities where young people can connect, have fun, and build friendships - from creative workshops and games nights to social activities - alongside occasional special events like beach outings, and our annual Christmas party.

• Supporting potential: tackling the educational inequalities faced by young carers, including university visits and skills-based workshops.

• Promoting health and wellbeing: working with partners to provide sports, fitness and mindfulness activities.

• Recognising and celebrating young carers: coordinating awareness-raising initiatives in schools, GP surgeries and the wider community, while celebrating national young carers events.

Safeguarding responsibilities of the post holder include:

• Creating a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment in all sessions.

• Maintaining professional boundaries and appropriate relationships with young people.

• Recognising and responding to safeguarding concerns, following organisational policy and procedure.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and deliver two high-quality weekly sessions for young carers (5–10s and 11–18s).

• Design engaging activities using creativity, organisational skills, and external partners where appropriate.

• Work with sessional staff and colleagues to ensure sessions are inclusive, safe, and responsive to young carers’ needs.

• Coordinate trips, special events, and awareness-raising activities.

• Support monitoring and evaluation of the service, ensuring activities meet agreed outcomes.

We are looking for a Boarding Schools Bursary Manager to join our team. The postholder will have responsibility for leading and developing the Boarding Schools Bursary programme in partnership with Royal SpringBoard and will be the principal point of contact for IntoUniversity centres, the bursary students and their families, the boarding schools and Royal SpringBoard.

What will my main duties be?

Programme Management

• To oversee the IntoUniversity Boarding School Bursary Programme including recruitment of potential students and ongoing support of current boarders.
• To prepare the students and their families for Royal SpringBoard and school assessments as well as reparing for boarding school life. 
• To plan and/or attend boarding school taster and pastoral visits across the UK. 
• To create a calendar of out-of-boarding events and support for students and families to connect to their local centre, including centre visits and community hubs. 
• Work with the Safeguarding Team to promote the wellbeing of students and respond to safeguarding concerns (additional training will be provided for this aspect of the role). 
• Encourage post-18 alumni to engage with the Royal SpringBoard alumni programmes and the IntoUniversity Student Associate Network
• Ensure Salesforce database records and monitoring requirements are kept up to date. 

Stakeholder Management

• Manage the relationship with Royal Springboard, including reporting on KPIs and maintaining communication.
• To build strong relationships and liaise with the host boarding schools and the key staff members such as Houseparents.
• To provide support to parents/carers as needed and manage any issues that may arise sensitively, mediating between the boarding schools, parents/carers and students as necessary.

This is a key role working alongside our Senior Programme Manager and Senior Race Equity Specialist to shape our ways of working, to enable more and more ethnic diverse people to act for nature.

You will have 2 main areas of responsibility:

1. Supporting senior leaders, Achieving Race Equity taskforce members and the programme team, including coordinating tailored guidance, projects, activities and events, that drive and embed race equity initiatives across the RSPB. This will mean working closely with other parts of the organisation to understand their needs and skills gaps and developing solutions together that meet those needs. This role will act as the first point of contact for all matters concerning support for the taskforce
2. Lead on a ‘Principle Workstream’ within the Achieving Race Equity Programme and take responsibility for ensuring that projects and initiatives within key areas meet the objectives and are coordinated effectively.

Essential skills, knowledge and experience:

This should include training and facilitation skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, and influence at all levels of the organisation.
• Deep understanding of achieving race equity, intersectionality, and the impact of discrimination in the workplace. Familiarity with the Equality Act 2010 and best practices in race equity work, preferably within the conservation or related sector.

Guy’s & St Thomas’ Foundation is looking for an Owned Events Lead to grow and deliver a portfolio of in-house fundraising events. From well-loved challenges like the St Thomas’ Abseil to supporter favourites such as Steps for Evelina, you’ll create memorable experiences that inspire people to give and get involved.

This is a great role if you enjoy being hands-on with events. You'll be planning, organising, working with suppliers, making sure everything runs smoothly on the day, while also bringing new ideas to life. With space to develop new fundraising events over the coming years, you’ll have the chance to shape how we connect with supporters and raise vital income.

What you’ll be doing

• Organising and delivering a range of fundraising events, both live and virtual
• Taking responsibility for logistics, safety, suppliers and everything that makes an event work
• Growing supporter-led events like Steps for Evelina and trying out new ways to engage people online
• Working closely with colleagues across fundraising, digital and communications to bring events to life
• Looking after event budgets and keeping track of performance
• Creating supporter journeys that keep people engaged before, during and after events
• Gathering feedback and learning from each event to make the next one even better

What we’re looking for

• Experience of running fundraising events from planning to delivery
• Confident managing suppliers, venues and event logistics
• Knowledge of virtual fundraising and digital campaigns such as paid social or online sign-ups
• Someone who enjoys working with others and building positive relationships across teams and agencies
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to juggle different projects at once
• Calm and reliable under pressure, with an eye for detail and a focus on supporter experience
• Creative and enthusiastic about trying new ideas and building things from scratch

We are looking for someone who:

Do you have a passion for volunteerism, along with strong organisational and communication skills?

Would you like to join an ambitious £10 million programme empowering volunteering initiatives across East and North Hertfordshire?

We’re seeking a Programme Coordinator to support the development and delivery of a new collaborative, cross-sector programme in East and North Hertfordshire, aimed at growing and sustaining volunteers across health and community settings.

This is an exciting opportunity to join an innovative initiative that builds on the surge of volunteering for health we saw during the pandemic. With experience in project coordination or public engagement in the health, social care and/or VCFSE (voluntary, community, faith, social enterprise sector), the Programme Coordinator will support the Volunteering for Health programme delivery and engage with underrepresented groups in the local community.

Community Alliance (CABEH) is a growing organisation with an ambition to support the voluntary sector achieve meaningful change. This role is a key part of the wider Herts and West Essex Volunteering for Health Programme Team.

Essential skills, experience and personal attributes:

• A relevant degree or equivalent experience in a related field such as public health, community development, community engagement, social prescribing, and/or the Herts and West Essex VCFSE sector.
• Proven experience in supporting and coordinating projects, preferably within the VCFSE, health or social care sectors.
• Experience in research, data collection and analysis to inform project monitoring and evaluation.
• Experience in engaging with diverse communities.
• Excellent project coordination skills, including planning, monitoring, and reporting on project progress.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present information clearly to a range of audiences.
• Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously, working across different locations.
• Proficiency in using standard office software, including word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation tools.
• Knowledge of safeguarding practices and commitment to promoting the welfare of vulnerable children, young people and adults.
• Understanding of equality and diversity principles and their application in the voluntary sector and health settings. 
• A proactive and self-motivated individual with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Full, clean driving license and access to a vehicle for travel as required by the role
• Ability to work from both home, Community Alliance Broxbourne and East Herts hubs and office and the East & North Herts Hertfordshire Teaching NHS Trust office in the Lister Hospital, as well as attend meetings and events in various locations.
