The Fundraising team is a small (7) but mighty team driving fundraising efforts across the UK. The team currently raises over £5m predominantly through multi-year strategic partnerships.
As Fundraising Officer, you will play a key role in driving income generation at Money Ready by managing a portfolio of corporate partnerships, delivering engaging challenge events, leading on fundraising products, and supporting the growing individual giving income stream. Your work will help ensure the sustainability and growth of our mission to empower young people through financial education.

As our Challenge Events Manager, you'll be the driving force behind our exciting challenge events portfolio.You'll work on bespoke corporate team-building challenges, high-energy industry networking events like the Hike Bike Paddle for the sports and outdoor sector and the Housebuilders Challenge, and our popular open events like the Wiltshire 3 Peaks Challenge and the Somerset Cycle.
Challenge events not only enable people to raise amazing sums for the charity, but are also a fantastic way to engage supporters with our work, giving them the opportunity to step outside their comfort zones, embrace the outdoors and achieve things they never thought possible - similar to our work with the young people on our programmes.
The Challenge Events Manager role is a varied position which would be perfect for somebody who has event management experience. You will be responsible for the full event cycle, from the initial planning, participant recruitment and stewardship to on the day event delivery and post event follow ups. You will be somebody who can spot opportunities, take on a project and run with it. You’ll be an excellent communicator, happy to pick up the phone to chat to event participants, deliver pre-event webinars or create engaging participant emails. You’re self-motivated, well organised, able to multi-task, a strong administrator, a fantastic team player, have excellent interpersonal skills and enjoy being outdoors.
You'll work closely with the Corporate Partnership Manager, who is highly experienced in delivering our challenge events, but needs time to develop new corporate partnerships which is why we have created this new role. You'll also line-manage our Events Fundraising Officer who plays a key support role on the events.
About You
You’re a people-person, self-motivated and highly organised. You are as comfortable managing a budget and a CRM database as you are standing on a mountain side in your waterproofs! You’ll have:

Endometriosis UK is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Public Fundraising Manager to join our busy fundraising team and support our continued growth. You will line manage the Fundraising Administrator and the Stewardship and Supporter Care Officer, playing a key role in leading a friendly, ambitious team and delivering exciting plans to grow vital income.

Women at the Well is a support service for women based in the King’s Cross area of central London. We provide practical support and advocacy to women facing a wide range of disadvantages, and we have a specialism in working with women whose lives have been affected by prostitution and/or sexual exploitation. We are trauma informed, holistic and woman-centred. We deliver our mission through three interconnected services:

2. An advocacy service

Women at the Well has supported thousands of women over more than twenty years work in London. We see the complex ways in which women’s inequality, racism, disability and poor health, educational disadvantage, trauma in childhood, migration and the hostile immigration environment can all lead to significant social and economic disadvantages and harm. In our work we meet women who have experienced repeated and extensive abuse, and who are often homeless, living with addictions and/or mental health issues, and in poverty. We see how these women are at high risk of a range of sexually exploitative behaviours including prostitution. JOB PURPOSE:
The Head of Fundraising & Partnerships will lead the development and delivery of Women at The Well’s fundraising strategy, ensuring we build the sustainable and diverse income base needed to continue supporting women facing extraordinary disadvantage, exploitation and harm. As a senior, hands-on fundraiser, the postholder will take responsibility for income generation across trusts and foundations, individual philanthropy, corporate partnerships and community fundraising, while building the systems, relationships and communications that underpin long-term growth.
Working closely with the CEO—an experienced trusts fundraiser—the postholder will identify opportunities, cultivate relationships, steward supporters, craft compelling cases for support, and drive forward multi-stream fundraising with clarity and purpose. We are looking for enthusiastic, passionate and driven people to join our growing fundraising team.
Our Sunflower Appeal launched in June 2025 and aims to raise £5million by 2029 to open a new cancer centre at the Princess Royal Hospital, Telford. This will double chemotherapy capacity in the region, as well as adding outpatient clinics and diagnostic facilities for the first time in Telford. This is our biggest appeal to date, and we need to make sure that our fundraising team is robust and able to rise to this challenge.
We’re looking for people to support our amazing community of fundraisers and donors in the following areas:
- Corporate- we work with business from around our region, building long-term charity partnerships, engaging them in supporting events, and involving their teams in volunteering opportunities. One of our new team members will help us build on our programme of corporate engagement, looking across the region to identify and engage new supporters, as well as working closely with our existing friends in the business community. This role can be based at either our Shrewsbury or Telford office.
- Community- Community fundraising is at the heart of our charity, and we are constantly amazed by the commitment and creativity of our supporters across the region. We are looking for another member of our team to support community fundraising and make sure our community have a brilliant experience with us. This role will have a specific focus on building our support in Telford & Wrekin and will be based primarily in our Telford office.
Our Fundraisers need to be able to build successful relationships and will be motivated to make a real difference to their local community through their fundraising efforts. They will be confident, engaging and able to communicate our message to a wide range of people. They will be resourceful and able to identify opportunities, getting people involved in a way that suits them, and adds real value to our cause.
We are looking for the equivalent of two full time people to fill these roles. This could be one person working in each area, but we will consider part time and job shares opportunities for the right candidates.

More about the role
As our Challenge Events Officer, you will be the driving force behind our third-party events portfolio. You will be the person who rallies the troops for the iconic London Marathon and recruits everyday heroes to take on challenges that change lives.
Reporting to the Community and Events Manager, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of the fundraiser experience - from the moment they see an ad to the moment they cross the finish line.
What you’ll be doing

Championing the portfolio: You will take full ownership of our third-party challenge events, including managing our presence at major events like the London Marathon.

Recruiting our heroes: You will develop and execute creative marketing plans to recruit participants using social media, paid advertising, and by engaging with our public-facing centres, hospitals, and shops.

The ultimate cheerleader: You will design and deliver a sector-leading "stewardship journey." Your goal is to ensure every fundraiser feels supported, motivated, and maximized in their fundraising efforts.

Managing the money: You will deliver and manage income and expenditure budgets, ensuring we stay on track and transparent in our financial reporting.

Always Improving: You will review current processes and analyze fundraising activities with a sharp focus on improving Return on Investment (ROI).

Staying ahead of the pack: You will research and benchmark our activity against the charity sector to ensure Blue Cross remains competitive and innovative.

Innovating: You will help develop, implement, and evaluate new fundraising concepts to keep our offers fresh and exciting.

Collaborating: You will work hand-in-hand with internal teams to ensure our marketing, recruitment, and supporter journeys are seamless.

Upholding standards: You will ensure all challenge event activities follow best practices and compliance.
About you:
This role requires a highly organised individual with a passion for fundraising. The ability to manage multiple projects whilst consistently meeting deadlines is essential.
Experience in developing fundraising reports, managing income and expenditure budgets. Strong communication and a collaborative spirit are key, as is a creative mind for developing fundraising strategies. Flexibility for occasional travel and out of hours work is required.
Essential qualifications, skills, and experience

Proven experience working in challenge event fundraising

Demonstrable experience in researching, planning, delivering and evaluating a range of challenge event fundraising activities.

The ability to develop and deliver marketing plans to recruit third party challenge event participants through a variety of channels.

The ability to develop and execute an inspiring stewardship journey to maximise income generation.

Experience of budget management including income and expenditure.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of stakeholders (donors, sponsors, participants, volunteers, team members)

Ability to lead on and manage a variety of projects with simultaneous priorities

A full driving licence is required

Desirable qualifications, skills, and experience

Experience in obtaining corporate sponsorship for challenge events

Experience working with fundraising databases (D365) and MS office suite to manage donor data, create reports and communicate effectively

We are looking for a Community Fundraising Manager who will focus on leadership and net income growth of the Community Fundraising (CFR) team, who are based across the UK. The post holder will lead and manage the three regional engagement Officers, taking responsibility in actively supporting them to achieve in their posts.
To succeed in the role, you will need entrepreneurial thinking as well as being able to collaborate with colleagues across the UK to ensure consistent support for staff and volunteers, ensuring our community fundraising activities are delivered well, in a timely manner whilst always being mindful of the return on investment. The Community Fundraising Manager will be responsible for the delivery and growth of this area of fundraising and will be expected to meeting annual income targets and ensuring effective budget management.

RNRMC is the Navy’s principal charity which exists to support every sailor, marine and their families, for life. We do this by offering grants to and working with, other organisations to deliver programmes that meet the needs of our beneficiaries. Experience and Background
You will have a minimum of three years’ experience in Community Fundraising or a similar fundraising role, with experience in leading geographically dispersed teams and driving sustainable income growth within a charity or nonprofit setting. You should have a strong track record in managing and developing staff, ideally having overseen regional or community-based officers, with the ability to motivate, coach, and support individuals to achieve fundraising goals. Experience in community fundraising is essential, including planning and delivering a portfolio of activities, nurturing supporter relationships, and ensuring volunteers receive consistent, high-quality support. The role also requires proven ability in budget management, forecasting, and meeting annual income targets.
Success in this role calls for an entrepreneurial and strategic mindset, capable of identifying new opportunities for income generation while ensuring strong return on investment. The post holder must be highly collaborative, able to work effectively with colleagues across regions to drive alignment and deliver well-coordinated campaigns. Strong organisational and project-management skills are key, enabling the manager to oversee multiple initiatives delivered on time and to a high standard. Ultimately, the role requires a confident leader who can balance creativity with operational excellence, ensuring the community fundraising programme continues to grow and deliver meaningful impact.

Hours of Work
Hours of work are 35 hours per week, 09:00 – 17:00 Monday to Friday.
We have a friendly, supportive, and inclusive environment with a hybrid working approach of 60% in office and 40% home-working.
Salary
The annual salary range for the post is between £35,000 up to £42,000 per annum, depending upon experience.
