We are looking to recruit two Events Assistants who are looking to start their career in events and who can be a “can do” true all-rounder. Someone who has the ability to be focused on the details and deadlines demanded by event management as well as someone who has the relationship management experience of working and managing fundraising committees.

You will be detail orientated, fast paced and a multitasker. You will be creative, approachable, and professional and have the drive and ambition to learn how to build relationships with and grow our network of supporters. The successful candidate will be passionate for our music therapy delivery, have empathy for our beneficiaries and their families and believe that music can truly make a difference.

Don’t worry, you don’t need to be musical, but you do need to be able to work cross-organisationally with colleagues in all areas of the charity to help bring awareness of our mission, vision and achievements to the world.

We’re looking for someone to build and deliver on our Corporate Partnerships Strategy and lay the groundwork for long term, sustainable corporate income generation as part of our wider Fundraising Strategy.

This is a new role for someone with substantial experience working in corporate partnerships. We’re looking for someone with strong account management and new business skills who can take our fledgling portfolio of corporate supporters and transform it into formal, long-term partnerships generating at least c.£400K by the end of the first 3 years.

You will have a demonstrable track record of securing and account managing five-six figure partnerships. You will have the ability to create propositions in collaboration with programmatic colleagues, and the confidence to pitch a compelling case for support to a range of senior corporate audiences. You will also have excellent communication skills both (written and verbal) and a keen eye for connecting a company’s objectives to the right opportunity at MRF. You will also have the commercial awareness to build partnerships that create genuine, shared value.

This is a partnerships role as much as a fundraising one. Alongside income, you will develop a suite of impactful corporate engagement opportunities and maximise the pro bono, skills and influence that the right partners can bring to our mission.

Job Title: Known internally as "Key Work Manager (Maternity Cover)"

About the Role

As Key Work Manager you will lead on and oversee all Key Work activity at Carney’s Community. This includes undertaking key work yourself on a one to one basis with young people involved in the criminal justice system as well as managing a small team of key workers.

You will provide advice, practical support and befriending to a caseload of participants, aged 11-30, who are at risk of/involved in offending; to encourage and enable them to participate in Carney’s Community’s personal development opportunities and to access the wider services and support they may need in order to give them the best chances of being “the best they can be”. This will involve supporting young people to engage in positive and constructive activities, attend Youth Justice Service or Probation appointments and creating opportunities for their personal, social and emotional development

You will work alongside the employment support manager to plan and deliver the employment group, supporting participants that attend this group and leading specific employment programmes. As manager of the key work project you will oversee the small team of key workers, provide support, guidance and supervision. You will be involved in monitoring and reporting for the project, collecting feedback from participants. You will manage referrals to the project from other organisations including schools, social services, probation and the youth justice service.

About You:

You must have proven experience of working directly with young people in a youth work or key work setting, providing one to one support. You will have the ability to empathise and mediate for young people, a strong understanding of the local area, barriers facing young people, the interplay between material disadvantage, vulnerability and social exclusion and be highly skilled in diplomacy, professional distance, demonstrating empathy, boundaries and sound judgement. You will have experience managing other staff or volunteers.

The Job 

Reporting to the Senior Fundraising Manager, this role sits within the Communications, Engagement and Fundraising team. The Church Engagement and Events Officer will play a key role in building relationships with churches, supporters and volunteers across Britain, Ireland and Europe, helping them engage more deeply with USPG's vision and mission. 

You will lead the planning and delivery of USPG's events programme, including the USPG Conference, Founder's Day, In Conversation Dinners and the annual Carol Service, as well as supporting the organisation's presence at festivals, synods and other national events. About the role

The Challenge Events Manager is responsible for the successful delivery and ongoing development of Save the Children's Challenge Events programme. Working closely with the Supporter-Led Fundraising Lead, the role manages a portfolio of challenge events delivering excellent supporter experiences while meeting participation, engagement and income targets.

The role works collaboratively across the organisation to drive continuous improvement, identify opportunities for growth and maximise fundraising outcomes through effective stewardship, marketing and operational delivery.

Partnership Coordinator 

Salary: £28,860 per annum (subject to an annual salary review)

Contract: Fixed-term for 12 months (possibility of a contract extension / change to a permanent contract in the future subject to funding and business need)

Location: This is a blended-working role with two days per week at our office in Finsbury Park (Tuesday-Thursday) during term time and the flexibility to work from home during school holidays. Occasional travel to schools and events will be required. 

Working Pattern: 37.5 hours per week. Our core hours are 09:30 - 16:00 from Monday to Friday. 

About the Role

The Partnership Coordinator role is varied, offering the chance to develop a wide range of skills. Responsibilities include managing local Hubs, delivering programme and network activities, supporting events and meetings, and participating in recruitment and retention activities.

Working closely with school and trust leaders and Hub Managers, you will need excellent relationship management skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to continuous improvement. Strong evaluation and data management skills would also be an advantage.

This position requires individuals who are self-motivated, organised, detail-focused, and strong communicators. 

We are looking for a new colleague to focus on account managing some of our local Hubs, and supporting recruitment and retention of schools and trusts. This would account for about 60-80% of your time. The remaining time will be spent on delivering our programmes and networks, ensuring a great experience for our partner schools, supporting knowledge exchange, and handling general partner queries.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Partnership Experience Manager, the Partnership Coordinator will have the following key areas of responsibility and will be expected to undertake other responsibilities commensurate with the role as requested:

1. Programme and Network Delivery 

• Provide year-round support to local Hub Managers to ensure schools receive necessary support.

• Maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including resolving operational issues and escalating as needed.

• Support the planning and delivery of programmes and networks, including scheduling dates, organising training sessions, and other activities.

• Support the organisation and delivery of programme-specific and national events.

1. Partner Relationship Management

• Work with the Challenge Partners Central Team to ensure an excellent experience for partners and help schools maximise their partnership value.

• Support the induction and onboarding of new schools to their Hubs and the National Network of Excellence.

• Troubleshoot and respond to school or trust queries through internal customer care systems.

• Utilise and update our CRM system (Salesforce).

1. Data Management

   • Monitor, consolidate and analyse programme, network and Hub data to identify risks and/or trends, providing regular reports and updates to support the continuous improvement of our activities.

   • Utilise our CRM system (Salesforce) to build reporting efficiencies.

1. Communications

• Respond to email and phone queries about Challenge Partners, programmes, networks, and Hubs professionally and promptly.

• Collaborate with programme, network, and partnership leads to provide high-quality communications to partner schools, including renewals, induction, onboarding, engagement emails, and Hub updates.

• Play a leading role in the delivery of the half termly Partnership newsletter, using data to evaluate engagement and make further improvements. 

1. Recruitment and Retention

• Support year-round recruitment of schools to the Network of Excellence, working with hubs to deliver introductory events.

• Provide updates on schools in your Hub to inform retention campaigns.

• Manage leads and connect new schools with local Hubs. 

• Support the tracking of sign-ups throughout the recruitment period, providing regular data updates to the wider team.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Community and Events Manager to join our Fundraising team. This is a fantastic role for an experienced fundraiser who is passionate about developing supporter-led fundraising, delivering exceptional events and building meaningful relationships that help families stay together when they need it most.

Our charity

The Sick Children's Trust is the charity that provides a welcoming 'Home from Home' where families with a sick child in hospital can stay. But we're more than bricks and mortar, our friendly, caring staff are there to support families when they really need it.

Hospital can be a lonely and scary place for anyone, but especially a child. Providing around 3,200 families a year with somewhere to stay together just minutes from the hospital means that they can be by their sick child's side and have one less thing to worry about.

The Role

This is a varied and rewarding fundraising management role, focused on developing and delivering an ambitious community and events fundraising programme that generates sustainable income, increases awareness of our work and builds long-term supporter relationships.

You will lead the development of community fundraising across the UK, supporting and inspiring individuals, families, schools, community groups, volunteers and local businesses to raise funds for the charity. At the same time, you will manage a portfolio of challenge and special events, ensuring excellent supporter experiences and strong financial returns.

You will oversee key events including our Carol Service, Supper Club and Golf Day, while also growing participation in challenge events such as the London Marathon, half marathons, walks, cycling events and other fundraising activities. You will identify new opportunities for growth, diversification and supporter acquisition across both community and events fundraising.

Working collaboratively with colleagues across Fundraising, Communications and Marketing, House Teams and external partners, you will help maximise fundraising income, increase engagement and ensure our supporters receive outstanding stewardship.

You will also lead and develop a small fundraising team, creating a collaborative and high-performing culture while supporting individuals to achieve their objectives and develop their skills.

This role requires a proactive and ambitious fundraiser with strong leadership, relationship-building and project management skills, together with the ability to manage multiple priorities and drive income growth.

About you

We're looking for someone who is passionate about community and events fundraising and motivated by creating meaningful opportunities for people to support our work.

You will have a proven track record in community fundraising, events fundraising or a related supporter-led income stream, with experience of building strong relationships and engaging supporters from a wide range of backgrounds.

You will be an excellent communicator and collaborator, equally comfortable inspiring volunteers, supporting families who want to fundraise, representing the charity at events, or working with colleagues to develop new campaigns and initiatives.

You will have experience of leading and developing people, managing projects and budgets, and balancing multiple priorities while maintaining excellent attention to detail.

Ultimately, this is a great role for someone who enjoys leading from the front, building relationships and developing innovative fundraising activities that make a real difference to families with seriously ill children.

We have an exciting opportunity for an Events Officer to join our Fundraising team. This is a fantastic role for someone who is passionate about creating memorable fundraising events and building strong supporter relationships that help families stay together during some of the most difficult times of their lives.

Our charity

The Sick Children's Trust is the charity that provides a welcoming 'Home from Home' where families with a sick child in hospital can stay. But we're more than bricks and mortar, our friendly, caring staff are there to support families when they really need it.

Hospital can be a lonely and scary place for anyone, but especially a child. Providing around 3,200 families a year with somewhere to stay together just minutes from the hospital means that they can be by their sick child's side and have one less thing to worry about.

The Role

This is a varied and rewarding events fundraising role, focused on delivering exceptional fundraising events and challenge activities that generate income and raise awareness of the charity.

You will help deliver key events including our Carol Service, Supper Club and Golf Day, while also supporting participants taking part in challenge events such as the London Marathon, Great North Run, London Landmarks Half Marathon and Royal Parks Half Marathon.

You'll build strong relationships with supporters, participants, volunteers, suppliers and partners, providing excellent stewardship and ensuring they have a positive experience with the charity. You will also work closely with colleagues across Fundraising, Communications and Marketing to maximise the success and reach of our events programme.

The role will involve monitoring event budgets, maintaining accurate records, securing auction prizes and pro bono support, and helping to identify new opportunities to grow income and engagement.

This role requires a proactive and organised approach, excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while delivering outstanding supporter experiences.

 We're looking for someone who is enthusiastic about events fundraising and motivated by creating engaging experiences that inspire people to support our work.

You will have strong interpersonal and communication skills and enjoy building relationships with a wide range of people. You will be equally comfortable supporting a marathon runner with their fundraising, liaising with suppliers, or welcoming guests to one of our special events.

You will have excellent organisational skills and be confident managing competing priorities and deadlines. You'll enjoy working as part of a collaborative team while also being able to take ownership of your own projects and responsibilities.
