Working days/hours per week: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.

The organisation rescues high quality edible surplus food, from across the food industry and gets it to over 8,000 organisations across the UK who are working to strengthen communities and improve lives. 

The charity manages seven depots across London, Suffolk, Merseyside and Hampshire and works with 16 network partners who operate a further 26 regional depots across the UK. 

Over the next year our ambition is to rescue enough food nationally to provide nearly 200 million meals, turning an environmental problem into social good with measurable impact for people, planet, and the economy.

Purpose of the Job 

Essential to this role is for the System Administrator to be the technical owner for Microsoft cloud and endpoint management: enabling the merger programme, delivering a secure, standardised M365/Entra/Intune environment, and supporting ISMS and Data Protection implementation through the implementation of Technical Controls, in collaboration with Managed Service Provider.

In addition - be the technical owner of other non-Microsoft platforms, as the organisation merges and rationalises the non-Microsoft platforms in operation.  

Duties and Responsibilities 

 M365 / Entra ID

• Manage Entra ID configuration: users/groups, roles, access governance, Conditional Access, PIM (where used), guest access, SSO integrations.
• Maintain authentication and security posture: MFA enforcement, risky sign-in/user remediation, break-glass account readiness, identity audit readiness.

Endpoint management (Intune)

• Own Intune configuration: device compliance, configuration profiles, security baselines, app deployment, update rings, BitLocker policy/reporting.
• Confirm and improve Windows Autopilot processes: enrolment profiles, device naming, standard build, app packaging, and onboarding experience.

Azure Data

• Support the Data Teams via the implementation and management of integrations between the IT infrastructure and the Data infrastructures. This would include areas such as SSO implementations for key apps.
• Support the limited number of Azure Servers currently operating, with Sharp.

Email security & collaboration controls

• Defender skills
• Support implementation of DLP & Data Classification policies.
• Support rollout and tuning of E5 security capabilities and/or Email Security Gateway integration
• Improve Exchange and SharePoint/OneDrive configurations: anti-phish/spam policies, mail flow hygiene, external sharing controls, retention/labels where agreed.

Telephony / Entra Integration

• Integrate mobile devices (both COPE and BYOD) into the Entra environment, with support from Sharp
• Support the transition from 8x8 to Teams Voice environment.

Merger enablement

• Support technical delivery for domain changes, tenant alignment activities, SSO/cert updates (e.g., Salesforce SSO certificate changes), and application rationalisation.

Operational excellence

• Create and maintain technical documentation and SOPs for BAU and audit evidence
• Provide 3rd line support/escalation for Microsoft-related incidents and changes
• Support IT Manager in multi-platform Disaster Recovery exercises and issues.

About the role

This Operations & Administration Coordinator role is a diverse and hands-on role, covering a wide range of tasks and responsibilities that are essential to the smooth, efficient running of the organisation. It's a part-time position for three days (21 hours) a week.

You will provide day‑to‑day operational coordination across IT systems, office management, finance administration and HR processes, alongside varied administrative support. Acting as a central point of contact, you will work closely with colleagues, external suppliers and advisors to ensure our working environment, systems, policies and processes are practical, compliant and support staff to do their best work.

The Events Administration Assistant is responsible for supporting the Events Operations Manager with ensuring the accurate management of registrations, financial processes, documentation and stakeholder communications providing successful operational delivery of the Society’s full programme of events and will play a key role in maintaining high service standards for delegates, speakers and partners while supporting the smooth delivery of conferences and meetings.

We’re currently recruiting one part-time Charity Administrator. Join our Community Fundraising Team and play an important part in stewarding some of The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity’s most dedicated supporters.

This role is an integral part of the Community Fundraising team, providing support to people raising funds for The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity and being the first point of contact for enquiries. Dealing directly with supporters, the role requires an effective communicator and proactive individual who is passionate about fundraising. The role will also support the Community Fundraising Manager and Senior Community Fundraising Executive with the stewardship of high value community fundraisers.

What you’ll be doing:

- Support and provide high levels of stewardship for supporters who are fundraising for the Charity.

- First point of contact for all community fundraising supporters, including answering incoming calls and meeting and greeting supporters that visit the Charity office.

- Work alongside the Senior Community Fundraising Executive to help identify and develop ways to encourage supporters to fundraise for the Charity.

- Send fundraising materials and thank supporters in a timely manner, keeping an accurate record of these communications on the database

- Ensure community fundraising information on the Charity website and displayed within the hospital is up to date.

Salary: £27,383 per annum (inclusive of £3,990 Southeast Weighting)

Location: Hybrid with 3 days in the London office (Patshull Road)

Working hours: Full time: 35 hours per week

Person Specification:

Skills and Experience 

• Education: Minimum of GCSEs in Mathematics and English or equivalent
• Experience: Some demonstrable administrative experience 
• Software Skills: Microsoft Office Suite. 
• Organisational Skills: Good multitasking abilities and attention to detail. 
• Communication Skills:  Good written and verbal communication skills. 
• Problem-Solving: Ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions. 
• Confidentiality: Maintain high levels of discretion and confidentiality.

Purpose of the post:

As part of our Business Directorate, this role will support the Business Support Manager in ensuring that the charity's functions run efficiently, effectively and sustainably:

·To provide comprehensive and administrative support and excellent customer service for the Leadership Team and across the organisation.

·To partner with front-line teams to successfully deliver programmes and events and support campaigns, partnerships and promotions as required.

Key responsibilities:

·Providing excellent, administrative support for the Leadership Team, including diary management, arranging travel and travel arrangements as required.

·Providing day to day administrative support to core business and programme teams, as required, including:

• Supporting day-to-day communications by managing inboxes and responding to queries as appropriate (including info@ and recruitment@ inboxes)
• Coordinating face to face and virtual meetings; taking and circulating minutes and following up on actions.
• Provide additional administrative and operational support to teams as required in line with skills, knowledge and experience

·Manage staff profiles on our website, uploading new staff and removing staff profiles for leavers.

·Maintain office environment, ensuring desks are clear for colleagues to use and stationery cupboard is stocked and tidy.

·Organise staff cards – for birthdays, leavers, etc. 

·Support HR with recruitment processes (e.g collating applications and arranging interviews).

·Assist the Business Support Manager with delivery of in-person internal events (Staff Days, Board Meetings) and external events (World Book Night, Summer Reading Challenge launches).

·Set up and closure of Office 365 accounts, monitoring Business User licenses and shared mailboxes.

·Organisation and administration of monthly Standing Meetings (all staff meeting).
