We are seeking an enthusiastic person to be part of a small, busy Marketing and Communications Team that covers all areas of the charity’s work in education, residential services and community services. The post holder will take responsibility for the delivery of a wide range of marketing and communications activities to promote QAC’s brand.  As the largest service area a lot of the marketing department’s day to day work will be focused on Queen Alexandra College. This role also requires deputisation for the Marketing and Communications Manager in their absence.

Hours: 37 hours per week
Contract: 52 weeks
Annual Leave: 7.2 weeks, including Bank Holidays

About the Role

We are looking for a highly organised and confident Supporter Care Administrator to ​provide an excellent supporter care service for the Fundraising Campaigns and Individual Giving team. 

You will be the primary contact point for our supporters, prospective supporters and the public, taking responsibility and ownership for each enquiry, providing answers to questions relating primarily to donations and fundraising activities. You will also support your manager in developing a new stewardship programme to welcome, engage and retain our supporters.

Key Responsibilities

In this role you will be the first point of contact for prospective and existing supporters, helping with enquiries, taking donations, reassuring concerns and ensuring our supporters have a positive experience with every contact and interaction they have with our charity.

• Take full ownership, responding effectively to all enquiries, interactions and complaints received on our fundraising activities, by email, phone and letter. 
• Respond to supporters with empathy and compassion, applying our tone and voice and brand values
• Maintain supporter database records of enquiries received, ensuring that all data entered is administered accurately
• Work to meet agreed response times (SLAs) to enquires, ensuring supporters are satisfied
• Work with the Individual Giving Manager (Stewardship) on key stewardship activities and supporter journeys, to thank, welcome, engage and retain our supporters.
• Represent the team at cross-team meetings to ensure our supporter’s voice is heard, sharing feedback gathered through direct supporter interactions
• Keep up to date with technology, applying digital approaches, new solutions and identify improvements to become more effective in donation and contact processes.

You will be a highly organised and confident individual, with experience in customer service or supporter care roles, with a passion to make a difference by engaging with and acknowledging supporters who choose to donate to or fundraise for our charity.

The Philanthropy team at Alzheimer’s Research UK (ARUK) is responsible for securing donations from individual major donors, grant-making trusts and foundations. The role of Philanthropy Officer is key to the success of the Philanthropy team, working closely with other team members and stakeholders across ARUK.

At the heart of the Philanthropy team is our desire to help our supporters change the world, in a way that is meaningful and exciting to them.

Main duties and responsibilities of the role:

Relationship building and income generation

· Build relationships with a portfolio of current and prospective major donors and charitable trusts, gauging their level of interest in our work, providing them with opportunities to engage with ARUK, and encouraging them to invest in our research.

· Develop an engagement plan for each relationship, taking full ownership and moving each donor / trust forward through qualification, solicitation and stewardship.

· Fundraise for different aspects of ARUK’s work, including key research initiatives such as the Drug Discovery Alliance.

· Think ambitiously and creatively in producing compelling and persuasive written communications for donors, including letters, proposals, applications and progress reports.

· Solicit donors for gifts at face-to-face meetings, where appropriate.

· Provide an exceptional level of stewardship to donors, ensuring they are thanked and updated and that their relationship with ARUK grows in depth and value.

· Think innovatively and support the team’s goal to embed the use of digital in our work.

· Work with senior volunteers and senior staff, where appropriate, empowering them to open their networks and ask for support.

· Build and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues in the Science Communications, Media and Engagement, Research and Finance teams.

CRM

· Ensure donor records are kept up-to-date through daily use of Salesforce.

· Use Salesforce to track income and activity, and as a planning tool.

Events

· Support the Donor Relations Manager in planning bespoke events / lab tours for our supporters, by providing guest lists, communicating with invitees and updating Salesforce records.

· Represent ARUK at Philanthropy team events, and at other ARUK events where major donors or the representatives of charitable trusts may be attending.

What we are looking for:

· Experience gained working in a major gift fundraising or client relationship management role

· Demonstrable experience of developing long-term / strategic relationships

This new role will focus on driving business development and fundraising opportunities, and ensuring robust contract administration across METRO's HIV services. Reporting to the Head of HIV or Director of Services, the Senior Manager (HIV Services): Business Development and Team Coordination plays a vital role in strengthening the sustainability and effectiveness of METRO's HIV services.

The post holder will support the development of funding proposals and bids, build and maintain relationships with funders, commissioners, and partners, and contribute to fundraising activity to secure the future of HIV services. Alongside this, the post holder will provide hands-on support to the team with contract management, producing high-quality data-led reports, monitoring outcomes, and ensuring compliance with funder requirements.

This role acts as a bridge between delivery teams and METRO's leadership, being part of its Senior Management Team (SMT), and enabling services to thrive by ensuring contracts are well-managed, reports are accurate and timely, and opportunities for growth and sustainability are actively pursued.

Programme

METRO runs various HIV prevention and support services across London and the Southeast. These services include pan London and local HIV prevention services, HIV support services including advice and advocacy and family support, HIV peer mentoring and counselling services. Many of these services are delivered in partnership with agencies such as the GMIPartnership consisting of Spectra, Positive East, and our collaborations with THT, Positively UK and Africa Advocacy Foundation. Our services are also embedded in other sexual health partnerships, such as the SASH programme, which consists of our partnerships with Turning Point, London Friend and Naz. We also work with several NHS Trusts as part of our work with the London HIV Fast Track Cities programme and wider programmes.

• Work closely with the fundraising and volunteer teams to capture their real-life stories and inspirations and spin this into newsworthy content for our audiences;

• Maintain our image and video library so we always have brilliant content at our fingertips.
• Understand how to access and produce data for reports and analytics.
• Managing and overseeing the Communications calendar and inbox, ensuring we stay on top of trending and seasonal points of interest. Responding to media and external enquiries.

About You

We are looking for someone with strong communication skills, a flair for creativity and the ability to

manage multiple projects. This person will have: a background in a Communications or Marketing

role, strong interest in mental health, the ability to write for specific audiences and understands the

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Director to join our team. This pivotal role will be responsible for driving our fundraising efforts, developing relationships, building and managing cross organisational and corporate partnerships, and expanding our network to support and enhance our programmes. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in fundraising, excellent networking abilities, and a passion for our mission. The postholder is key in the delivery of the organisation’s strategic vision and direction.

The core function of the role will be to help lead the organisation as it looks to expand its services and capacity to serve those with learning disabilities.

Over the last few months, CPF has been looking into upcoming tender opportunities and recently finished a feasibility study which has provided recommendations on some of the most viable partnership opportunities and expanded service provisions that could play a vital role in moving forward. These are built around three main priority areas – sustaining and expanding the advocacy service, building long-term and mutually beneficial partnerships with other organisations that result in additional service provisions, and expanding the use of the current premise to create a warm and welcoming space throughout the week and into the evenings.

The Director will be expected to take on some of the current conversations and plans around the three priority areas of the advocacy service, partnerships and creating a warm and welcome space; identifying the most viable way to bring in sustainable funding for these. The Director will be responsible for fundraising and income generation and they will be expected to identify grants and funding opportunities and varied income generation sources for the organisation. They will also develop fundraising strategies, cultivate relationships with donors and sponsors, identify funding, write bids and explore grant opportunities to ensure the charity has the resources to fulfil its mission.

Head of Communications & Advocacy

Salary: £41,000–£46,000 per annum (depending on experience)

• Develop and deliver integrated communications and advocacy strategies

• Provide expert advice on sensitive and strategic communications issues

• Build strong relationships with policymakers, healthcare leaders, and industry stakeholders

• Act as an ambassador for Allergy UK at the highest levels

The role/ responsibilities:

The Head of Supporter Engagement will play a pivotal role in building and nurturing relationships with both existing and prospective supporters of Noah’s Ark. You will be responsible for ensuring an outstanding supporter experience—one that makes individuals feel valued, engaged, and fully informed about the impact of their donations.
This role involves developing and implementing effective strategies for donor acquisition, retention, and stewardship, while leading multi-channel communications that connect supporters with the cause. You’ll have the autonomy to innovate and bring creative flair to engagement programmes, guided by data, donor insight, and sector best practice.
You will be a dynamic, adaptable, and highly organised professional, committed to playing a key role in driving income growth. A strong communicator and proven leader, you lead by example and bring a hands-on approach to team management. With significant experience in people and programme management within Public Fundraising, you will have a proven track record of delivering outstanding results.

• Foster a supportive, cohesive, and aspirational team culture, motivating staff to meet and exceed targets while recognising their contributions to the charity’s overall objectives and strategy.
• Effectively recruit, train, and line-manage team members, setting clear objectives and supporting their development through regular supervision, annual appraisals, and adherence to charity policies and best practices.
• Develop a comprehensive supporter stewardship strategy, supported by systematic processes, to engage existing individual givers and fundraisers—as well as new supporters—fostering long-term commitment and regular support for the charity.
• Collaborate across teams to enhance supporter retention, contributing to the design and implementation of sophisticated supporter journey processes that strengthen relationships and increase lifetime value.
• Drive substantial growth in the number of individuals donating to and fundraising for Noah’s Ark by collaborating with team members to create engaging, inspiring fundraising campaigns and events.
• Maintain a steady pipeline of new supporters by developing and promoting ongoing engagement opportunities beyond major campaigns and events.

About you:

• Experience of developing supporter engagement opportunities and stewardship journeys for tens of thousands of supporters at least
• Experience of running an Community Giving, Individual Giving programme, incorporating Legacy Giving, raising at least £0.5m per annum
• Experience of managing a team to deliver exceptional results
• Successful experience of leading direct fundraising marketing campaigns across a range of channels including direct mail, email, social media and telephone
• Experience of highly successful relationship building with a portfolio of supporters, including through face-to-face meetings and telephone conversations

About the role

As CEO, you'll be responsible for the strategic leadership, operational delivery, and long-term sustainability of the charity. Working closely with the Board of Trustees and senior team, you'll steer Headway North Staffordshire through a changing health and social care landscape, ensuring they remain responsive, resilient, and impactful well into the future.

Your key priorities will include:

• Leading and empowering a small, committed senior team across service delivery, fundraising, operations, and administration
