Lead Music Therapist
Coram Parenting and Creative Therapy Service
Contract: Permanent, 28-35 hours days per week, 4-5 days per week
Location: Coram campus, London
Coram Parenting and Creative Therapy Service offers art, music and drama therapy, therapeutic parenting, clinical psychology and family therapy to children and families at our dedicated creative therapies centre and in schools. We work primarily with adoptive and connected carer families, and children who have low level mental health difficulties. We are a trauma-informed service and have specialist expertise in neuro-diversity and children with special education needs. The well-established team has a strong track record in therapeutic interventions, including music therapy, art therapy and narrative therapy based multi-family groups for younger children who are adopted or with a Special Guardianship Order. We have a purpose built therapy building and have recently built a music studio for our adolescent work. We work within very diverse communities and we consciously challenge ourselves and our practice, seeking at all times to be inclusive and anti-racist. About the role
We are seeking an experienced HCPC qualified Music Therapist to provide leadership, supervision and management of music therapists and other creative therapists in the service. You will carry out therapeutic multi-disciplinary assessments and music therapy interventions with adopted and Special Guardianship Order families. This work involves trauma informed approaches, family work and life story work. The team is led by a Clinical Psychologist and provides creative, relational, and evidence based approaches, collaborating with wider networks and reaching schools and communities to inform child centred and trauma informed practice. The post holder will receive supervision by a highly qualified Music therapist, and be line managed by a Clinical Psychologist. The post offers a unique opportunity to work alongside skilled creative and family therapists. We seek to empower children and families using strengths based narratives, as well as accepting vulnerability and seeking opportunity for connection, strengthening resilience and support.
The successful candidate will be experienced at working with managing and supervising therapists, developmental trauma, and child and family work and operates with initiative and responsiveness in a dynamic professional environment. A background in CAMHS and/or a social care services would be desirable, with a good understanding of safeguarding planning and managing highly emotive situations. Experience of running multi-family groups would be an advantage. This role requires a supportive professional, a team player, who enjoys working in a diverse, respectful and challenging team.

ABOUT THE ROLE
We're hiring a Lead Psychologist to lead, shape, and enhance psychological practices across the organisation. You will work closely with various teams across the organisation to foster the development and support of psychological interventions.
The Social Interest Group is dedicated to providing comprehensive support and care to individuals of all ages facing a diverse array of psychological challenges in both mental and physical health realms. This encompasses adults within acute and forensic mental health community based services and residential community based accommodation, as well as people residing in their own homes, in the community and prisons. The spectrum of conditions and illnesses includes people with trauma, anxiety, depression, psychosis, personality disorders, eating disorders, addictions, learning disabilities, autism, Korsakoff syndrome, alcohol related brain damage, and challenges related to social isolation, family dynamics, and relationships.
In this role, you will manage a team of psychologists, a clinical lead, mental health nurses, substance misuse teams, and therapeutic leads, as well as providing overall leadership, expertise, and direction to the organisation to bridge gaps in knowledge, experience, and skills!
Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9 - 5. You will be based in Central Office (Islington) but will regularly be based within any of our services across London, Brighton, Kent, Havering, Bedford, Luton, Nottingham, and Liverpool. Hybrid working is an option outside these service visits.

ABOUT YOU
We're looking for a self-starter, who can proactively encourage and take leadership of all aspects of psychology for the organisation! You will hold an accreditation with HCPC and BPS (and/or equivalent) and be able to demonstrate your experience in developing clinical/forensic/counselling practices!
What we are looking for:
- Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology, Counselling or Forensic Psychology from an accredited institution
- Full registration with BPS and as a Psychologist with the relevant regulatory body (e.g. HCPC)
- Trained in clinical supervision and the supervision of assistant and trainee psychologists and/or other psychological therapy staff

OVERVIEW OF KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide leadership to employees throughout the employee life cycle
- Support the development and creation of IIRMS (Intensive Integrated Risk Management Services).

- Provide expertise in clinical risk assessment and management, crisis intervention, and specialist communication of psychological knowledge internally and externally.

Background and Purpose
Bristol Mind is a local and independent charity working at the heart of our community to offer
equity-based, inclusive and accessible mental health and wellbeing support. We work with over
2,000 service-users and 75 volunteers each year, delivering a range of services including:
- InfoLine telephone information and advice service
- MindLine confidential telephone listening support
- Meeting Minds 121 counselling, with LGBTQIA & Neurodivergence streams
- Community Wellbeing: targeted services for refugees and victims of hate crime
Meeting Minds is a busy low-cost counselling provision and one of a growing element of
Bristol Mind’s services. Our online and face-to-face talking therapy is delivered by both
trainee and qualified counsellors for adults aged 18+ for up to 16 sessions, and includes
Humanistic, Psychodynamic, TA and Gestalt approaches. Our placement counsellors
come from a wide range of training providers such as BCPC, UWE as well as Metanoia
and the Berne Institute. In addition, we have some trainees on Doctorate programmes
in Counselling Psychology in Newport and Bristol. All our counselling staff and
volunteers are fully supported with regular clinical supervision and management, and

Job Description
We are currently restructuring our Meeting Minds team with a view to developing our
service offer, including applying for BACP accreditation. With this in mind, we are
seeking a Clinical Lead, responsible for delivering both clinical assessments and clinical
supervision, and for ensuring our service continues to adhere to the BACP ethical
framework. This vital role will suit you if you are an experienced, accredited BACP
counsellor and clinical supervisor with a passion for equity-based counselling and a keen
eye for managing risk. You will be part of a small and friendly team, working closely with
our Head of Counselling to ensure our service meets the needs of our local community
and is of the highest quality.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities
- Undertake approximately 10- 12 client assessments per week, over the phone or Teams.

We do this through the Parkinson’s Excellence Network (PEN), a network of around 6,000 health and care professionals with a shared vision: to build an expert Parkinson’s workforce and improve health and care services for people with Parkinson’s.

What you can expect from Parkinson’s UK
You’ll:
- Be formally welcomed and introduced to the Excellence Network and your role as a regional clinical lead.
- Be provided with an introduction pack, which outlines all the activities of the PEN at a national, regional and local level, so that you can gain an understanding of where
- your role fits in.
- Meet regularly with the Professional Engagement team to discuss and plan activity in your region, working to a co-developed engagement plan for your PEN region. We will be flexible, taking into account your individual needs.
- Meet with the Professional Engagement Lead or Associate Director of Policy & Health Strategy after 6 months in the role for a review meeting and then annually thereafter (or more frequently if required).
- Be provided with a set of resources and information to support you in your role eg. a ready made presentation on the PEN, data from the services within your patch, including relevant data from the UK Parkinson’s Audit.
- Be invited to an annual event for the National and Regional Clinical Leads, to provide updates, training and opportunities for discussion.

Monthly rate will be based on skills and experience.
Term of consultancy services will be set tenure of 3 years from date of appointment, with an option to extend once for a further 3 years.

The Hepatitis C Trust has developed projects nationally whereby peers use their lived experience of injecting drug use and hepatitis C, to provide education and training to increase awareness of hepatitis C, reduce stigma, and promote access to testing and treatment for people living with hepatitis C.

Job Summary:
This is an exciting opportunity for a specialist clinical practitioner with a background in child and adolescent mental health to provide clinical oversight of 2 multi-disciplinary Mental Health Support Teams (MHSTs). These teams will increase and improve emotional and mental health provision within educational settings for 5–25-year-olds in the West London CCG area. You will be working within a successful Trailblazer site, which emerged out of the government’s December 2017 plans: Transforming Children and Young People’s Mental Health Provision: a Green Paper.
Crucially, your overall responsibility will be to provide clinical oversight and operational management of the MHSTs, to ensure that children and young people are provided with timely, accountable, and effective services.
You will have a caseload of children and adolescents with mild – moderate emotional and mental health difficulties (number of cases will be dependant of capacity) and will use CBT and Systemic evidence-based models, employing the principles underpinning the national CYP-IAPT programme (Children and Young People’s Improving Access to Psychological Therapies). Early interventions will be delivered in a range of educational settings (primary, secondary, special, alternative provision and sixth form college) across the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, as well as in parts of Westminster borough in the North West. These will build upon the CCG’s and HF Mind’s whole school approach to mental health provision.
The MHSTs which you will oversee will consists of a team of MHST clinical supervisors, schools practitioners, and Assistant Psychologist Clinical You will be responsible for managing and providing clinical supervision to senior team members,
You will also work closely with families, as well as colleagues and partners in the Local Authority, CAMHS, educational settings where interventions are being delivered and other relevant mental health providers.

- Ensure consistent standards of care across the MHSTs, minimising risk and instigating remedial action if necessary
- Oversee clinical interventions of the MHSTs, developing strategy and service development in partnership with senior team members
- Assess the clinical skills required to deliver a safe and high-quality service, identifying gaps and plans to address these issues
- Provide clinical supervision and case management to the senior members of MHSTs, whilst also overseeing coaching and mentoring for all members of the MHSTs
- Develop care and referral pathways that support improved care for children, young people and their families
- Ensure and embed evidence-based practice in all clinical work of MHSTs
- Assume overall responsibility and quality assurance for all reported clinical outcomes and data submitted to NHS Digital’s Mental Health Services Data Set (MHSDS)
- Monitor and track progress against access targets for MHST service delivery, ensure that KPIs are met and develop plans to address gaps
- Writing service Impact, monitoring, service update and evaluation reports (ad hoc, quarterly and yearly)
- Development and upgrading of policies and procedures relating to evidence-based clinical care for children and young people
- Assess and develop evidence-based treatment plans to meet the moderate needs of CYP with a range of emotional and mental health difficulties
- Deliver evidence-based early interventions for CYP aged 5-18 with moderate emotional and mental health difficulties
- Oversee safeguarding supervision and support for all MHST members, in line with relevant organisational safeguarding policies and procedures

Essential Criteria
- Degree from an accredited or recognised body to deliver evidence-based interventions for CYP and or parenting interventions / programmes
- A core profession (e.g., BACP, UKCP, HCP, NMC registration, Social Worker and OT) including registration with a professional body
- Minimum 2 years’ experience working within a Statutory CAMHS Tier 2 or 3 service, delivering assessments and interventions to children, young people and their families
- Several years of direct clinical experience (autonomously providing assessment, developing treatment plans and delivering a range of therapeutic interventions) with children and young people aged 5-18 with mental health difficulties
- Experience in managing a clinical multi-disciplinary mental health team and providing clinical supervision and case management
- Experience of routine clinical outcome monitoring
- Experience of managing clinical risk assessment
- Knowledge of systemic, cognitive and psychodynamic theories and when each is appropriate
- Understanding of child development and psychosocial influences
- Highly developed knowledge of child and adult safeguarding
- Experience engaging a range of stakeholders (young people, families, mental health providers, schools, Local Authority staff etc.) and involving service users throughout service planning and delivery
Desirable Criteria
- Experience using Iaptus CYP data management system and reporting into NHS Digital’s Mental Health Services Data Set (MHSDS)
- Experience working in educational settings
- Experience supervising safeguarding cases

The Royal Osteoporosis Society has received funding to deliver a digital programme to support patients with high quality information and services to feel more confident in their decisions about their bone strengthening medicines.
We are looking for an experienced partnership lead to join our team and play a key role in embedding both this programme and the wider ROS service offering, within the NHS and key healthcare partnerships to ensure this support is accessible to as wide a range of people as possible.
The Role
As the Clinical Partnerships Lead, you will be responsible for building on existing relationships with Fracture Liaison Services and developing newer relationships and leading pilot activity within primary care settings, to firmly establish referral pathways to the programme from within the NHS clinical pathways.
This role sits within the Services and Influencing directorate and supported by the Head of Clinical Engagement as part of a project team which includes a Programme Manager, a content designer and an external service design agency who will be building the programme itself.

JOB SUMMARY
The post holder will managing and lead the effective high quality delivery of the Grief Encounter therapeutic services, including online services, through a team of Therapists, Clinical Supervisors, placement students and volunteers.
They will assist the Director of Clinical Services (DCS) in implementing and developing the therapeutic element including intensive therapeutic support, projects, budgets and service planning. This will include:
- Leading, implementing and developing therapeutic projects and service planning.
- Managing Grief Encounter therapists, supervisors, volunteers and placement students.
- Conducting assessments with families, supporting practitioners with complex cases in liaison with supervisors and delivering training.
- Ensuring appropriate safeguarding policies and guidance are being adhered to across all services, responding to safeguarding concerns and ensuring practitioners understand their safeguarding responsibilities.

The Clinical Studies Portfolio Manager role brings expert knowledge of clinical trial principles and practices to the directorate. As part of the Virtual Biotech team, they will lead and manage our clinical stage projects, evaluate new project proposals and liaise with external partners and the Parkinson’s community, whilst maintaining professional knowledge and networks.
The Clinical Studies Portfolio Manager will be a leading player in our £25m programme to create the Parkinson’s treatments of the future, working alongside and on behalf of the patient community. They will use their expertise to help select, fund and oversee half a dozen exciting Phase 2 projects that will drive important new treatments forward, into the hands of patients in the UK and around the world.
What you’ll do:
- Provide expert knowledge of all stages of clinical development to advance the strategic research goals of Parkinson’s UK
- Provide expert project management/oversight for the ongoing clinical studies and clinical research collaborations to ensure studies are delivered on time and on budget
- Manage and contribute to the internal and external critical review of funding applications for new clinical projects
- Develop excellent relationships within the clinical Parkinson’s research community
- Work with people living with Parkinson’s to ensure the charity is creating and delivering clinical studies that meet the needs and expectations of the community
What you’ll bring:
- Significant experience in clinical project management and leadership skills, from initiation to completion/review in cross-functional teams

An exciting opportunity has arisen to recruit a new Operations Manager / Deputy Chief Executive for Stepping Stones North Wales as we celebrate our 40th Anniversary.
Stepping Stones is a charity based in North Wales that offers free individual counselling, support, psychoeducational courses and resources as well as group work to adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse. We also support family members, carers and friends.
We are looking for a person who is passionate about the charity sector and who, working with our CEO and with a dynamic team of Trustees, can ensure we operate effectively and can support the delivery of our strategy. The successful candidate will be comfortable with looking at ways to strengthen our processes and systems, so we have even more impact.
Stepping Stones North Wales demonstrates respect for, and embraces the use of, the Welsh Language through all our activities and services. We recognise the need to be appropriately responsive to the linguistic needs of Welsh speakers and we are fully committed to meeting the requirements of the Welsh Language (Wales) Measure 2011 (revised 2021).
