The Role

• This role ensures the efficient delivery of a comprehensive residential rehabilitation programme with emphasis on supporting residents’ transition to independent living within their community.
• You will manage a multi-disciplinary team of therapeutic workers, counsellors and night workers providing support and leadership in all areas of delivery. 
• You will ensure that service delivery is in line with recommended professional good practice and Phoenix Future’s policies & practices and that the reasonable expectations of purchasers and service users are met.

• As part of the management team, you will deputise for the Residential Service Manager as required.
• The role is based at Ophelia House, and you will be expected to take part in a on call rota to support the staff and service delivery.

Job Purpose

This role sits within our crisis alternative service, Safe Space, which is a core and out of hours service providing a safe and welcoming space for people who are feeling distressed and experiencing crisis. Our aim of the service is to keep individuals well in the community and prevent readmission into hospital. The service operates 365 days a year from 14:00-22:00pm across all of our boroughs.

Staff within the service will provide person-centred, practical and emotional support, face to face or via telephone or virtual on a one-to-one basis to individuals experiencing mental health crisis or preventing crisis.

The objectives of the service include:

• To improve the mental wellbeing of people experiencing mental health and social crisis in HFEH.
• To proactively work with keeping people well in the community to reduce re-admitters into hospitals by working with WL NHS teams (e.g. discharge, LPS, CATT, MINT and SPA)
• To provide a true alternative to A&E via a non-clinical drop-in service to support clients
• To provide support to clients accessing the service- for instance: signposting, de-escalation and crisis recovery planning.
• To contribute to an improvement in individual mental wellbeing.
• To remain a source of independent support for all clients.
• To treat service users with respect, dignity and personalised support
• To raise awareness of mental health services available with the goal to improve long term mental health and reduce social isolation
• To increase self-management skills of those accessing the service
• To reduce the use of police, ambulance and statutory mental health services whilst experiencing crisis via a drop-in service.
• To reduce the use of statutory crisis services by people experiencing mental ill health without positive outcomes for the individual

The Role

The role of the team manager will be to support the rest of the team in delivering interventions on a one-to-one. The role will also involve triaging and assessing all clients accessing the service, signposting and delivering collaborative self-management plans with clients to improve mental wellbeing. The role will also include line management and supervision of senior support workers and support workers within the service. Team managers are responsible for management of their site; including report writing, audits and being the named manager for the site and allocated borough following the borough-based approach. This role directly supports the service managers in keeping to a high standard service. The role will include implementing a smooth running of the service including facilitating debriefing and providing senior support onsite. The role of the team manager is non-clinical.

Key Responsibilities

• Providing a person centred and recovery orientated approach in all aspects of the roles and responsibilities.

Person Specification

• Minimum of 1 year working in mental health services and with clients experiencing mental health distress and crisis

 What the job involves
We’re looking for a Clinical Services Senior Officer to join our Clinical Services Team on a fixed term role covering maternity leave.

Our Clinical Services team provide direct information and support to anyone affected by prostate cancer or prostate problems. This includes our Specialist Nurse team, who run a service available over telephone, email, WhatsApp and Live Chat. We also have a Risk Information Service providing information to undiagnosed men concerned about their risk of prostate cancer.

As a Clinical Services Senior Officer, you’ll play an integral role in running these services, making sure everything’s efficient and accessible to the people who need us. We receive around 15,000 contacts every year, and you’ll help make sure they get the best possible experience.

Managing the day-to-day delivery of the service means organising rotas, planning resources and making sure everything runs smoothly. You’ll line manage our Risk Information Officer and support the growth of our Risk Information Service too.

You’ll also take responsibility for reporting and analysing service data, identifying trends and working with the Head of Support Services to shape improvements. Clinical governance will be a key part of the role, making sure our services remain safe, high quality and in line with the right policies. You’ll also keep our clinical policies and processes up to date, manage GDPR compliance, and act as a key contact for the team, both within the charity and with external partners.

Alongside this, you’ll help promote our services by contributing to promotional plans, social media activity and website updates, making sure more people know we’re here to support them.

It’s a varied and rewarding role where you’ll be helping to shape and improve the support we offer every day.

What we want from you
Good communication is at the heart of this role. You’ll be comfortable using a range of channels and able to build positive working relationships with a variety of people, from healthcare professionals to external partners. A flexible, collaborative approach and a commitment to delivering excellent service are important too.

You’ll bring experience of managing complex work, keeping on top of data, and turning information into clear, useful reports and recommendations. Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities will be key.

You’ll be comfortable working independently and as part of a team, with strong interpersonal skills and a positive, solutions-focused attitude. You’ll be able to support and guide colleagues, helping them deliver their best work. Experience using and maintaining databases is important, along with a good understanding of data protection. It would also be helpful if you’re familiar with project management tools and ways of working.

Knowledge of prostate cancer care and support, and an understanding of the nursing profession, would be beneficial for this role.

They will lead our therapeutic programmes and staff team to deliver excellent care to residents in residential treatment from substance misuse.

It is an exciting time to join Kenward as we expand and diversify our services to meet the changing needs of people accessing treatment. Accountable at Board level and working closely with our Consultant Addictions Psychiatrist and Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the development and delivery of person-centred, trauma-informed care that builds recovery capital and the scaffolding that promote sustained recovery.

Kenward Trust provides both 12-Step and SMART recovery models with a trauma-informed approach to both. All residents experience additional therapy from our unique Therapeutic Gardens and Workshops which were rated as Outstanding by the CQC. Kenward Trust is constantly evolving and you will play a pivotal role in its place a Kent's leading addiction treatment centre. 

We are looking to recruit an experienced professional who holds a recognised therapeutic qualification to a minimum of Level 4 with membership of a recognised professional body. They will have a minimum of 3 years managerial responsibility of multi-disciplinary working in a drug and alcohol rehabilitation or community setting

The Resident Engagement Manager will be the organisational lead in a new and exciting lottery funded project leading a small team and overseeing the design and delivery of the LEAP service at Homeless Oxfordshire and with wider partners.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

• Provide leadership across the organisation on resident engagement, learning and skills, co-production and activities.
• To promote the active involvement of the resident’s experience and voice in the delivery, development and monitoring of LEAP service.

About LEAP

LEAP is built on the foundation of strong, supportive relationships that empower residents to move towards stable, independent living. Through one-to-one key worker support, trauma-informed care, and community engagement, residents rebuild trust, form friendships, and gain confidence. Activities like gardening, arts and crafts, and creative writing foster connection and personal growth, while group involvement helps residents feel part of a wider community. LEAP also supports residents to take steps into peer mentoring, volunteering, and training, helping them build positive networks beyond their immediate circle and develop the skills and confidence to thrive independently.

At LEAP, community involvement is at the heart of their work. Empowering residents through co-production is a key organisational goal. LEAP offer a range of inclusive engagement methods—from informal gatherings like group breakfasts and creative activities, to structured sessions such as support needs mapping and Residents’ Forums. These forums provide regular opportunities for feedback and co-design, with input reaching senior management and trustees. Over three years, the project aims to support 750 individuals. Through a wide range of engaging and meaningful activities, residents will experience positive outcomes such as increased confidence, self-esteem, and a sense of inclusion. They will build supportive networks, learn key life skills and access training, volunteering, and employment opportunities. Many will gain qualifications and secure long-term accommodation. The project strengthens peer support and enables residents to shape services through formalised Residents’ Forums, ensuring their voices influence senior decision-making. For Homeless Oxfordshire, LEAP enhances our capacity to deliver peer-led support, builds staff knowledge, and informs service improvement. Wider community benefits include reduced stigma around homelessness, stronger partnerships with employers and organisations, and improved understanding of the issues faced by our residents—ultimately contributing to a more inclusive and compassionate society.

A Deputy Contract Manager is to support the Area Service Manager who is responsible for the effective management of all contracts within their designated patch, including line managing the relevant front line staff.

Role Requirements

You will play a vital role in coordinating care and supporting the management of the House, serving as a key contact for families and the multidisciplinary team. Collaborating with the House Manager and Placement Managers, you will help ensure that care is effectively planned, resourced, and delivered safely at all times.

You will support the house manager to ensure that the care on house or houses enables the children to access their education and/or rehabilitation sessions, clinics, and leisure activities in their timetable.

You will work as part of a leadership team comprising of a house manager, deputy house manager / deputy clinical lead and a clinical lead (per house) responsible for one or two houses within a rotational model. You will individually (not as a team) rotate at a house level on a twelve-monthly basis.

With experience of working in a complex environment, across a large and diverse workforce, you will be exceptionally organised with a high-level of attention to detail. You will naturally possess excellent inter-personal skills, and an ability to consult and positively engage with key stakeholders across the organisation.

The Research Manager – Grant funding will work closely with members of the Research Funding team and is responsible for delivering and supporting the charity’s grant-making activities across the full funding lifecycle—from application and peer review to post-award monitoring. This role is vital in advancing ARUK's research objectives and promoting engagement within with ARUK-funded research community. They will be working collaboratively with the wider Research directorate and with other teams, including the Science Communications team and Philanthropy teams.

Clinical strategy and plans for growth

• Have responsibility for the strategic development of TTI’s clinical team, clinical delivery and clinical outcomes, to meet TTI’s ambitious and transformational Strategy 2025-2030.
• Provide clinical leadership to the development of TTI’s strategic vision and annual delivery planning, models of service delivery, standards and clinical governance.

• Oversee the development and implementation of TTI’s clinical treatment pathways for survivors of torture, trafficking, slavery and violent conflict or those affected by vicarious trauma or burnout through their work in human rights, including:
  • up to date and evidence based clinical pathways for the main clinical presentations we see at TTI
  • robust assessment, formulation, treatment and ending processes
  •  robust partnership agreements with organisations referring people to TTI for clinical treatment.
• Develop and refine TTI’s clinical services in response to community needs and local/global events, in line with TTI’s strategy, including for working in international communities affected by violent conflict.
• Maintain an appropriate clinical caseload.
• Deliver services to TTI’s organisational clients, (including organisational reviews, trauma training, 1:1 professional consultations, critical incident support), especially to pilot, test and quality control these aspects of TTI’s delivery.

• Hold delegated authority from the Board for TTI’s clinical risk management, including engagement in TTI’s Risk-Management Sub-Committee, driving implementation of risk-management and mitigation actions relating to clinical delivery and leading TTI’s monthly internal QSP meetings.
• Feed into internal annual policy review processes, as they relate to clinical delivery, risk management and compliance with clinical duties and trauma-informed practice.

People Management

Personal Specification

 Essential Criteria

• HCPC registered psychologist who has completed Post Graduate doctoral level training in counselling or clinical psychology.
• Minimum 5 years post registration experience working within mental health services.

We are seeking a driven and experienced manager to oversee the operational side of our Liverpool Centre. This is a pivotal role within the team which focuses on coordinating activity across the service to ensure the safe and effective delivery of our intervention.

The successful candidate will manage the day to day running of the James’ Place centre, with oversight from the Liverpool Head of Centre. You will manage the centre environment through both resource management and by influencing and driving local culture. The Centre Manager is responsible for line management of the Clinical Administrators and overseeing the processing of referrals to the service, ensuring men coming to James’ Place are welcomed warmly, within the expected timeframe and according to our values. 

This role requires someone with excellent organisational, problem-solving and interpersonal skills who can work hands-on in a busy and potentially challenging environment. You will be collaborative and work closely with the local team and wider charity outside the Liverpool centre to ensure we have consistent, strong, and effective systems in place. This would include other Centre Managers in other James’ Place centres in the UK, the Senior Management Team, and potentially trustees.

We are looking for a forward thinking and proactive individual with experience of both people and operational management. The successful candidate will align with the James’ Place values of Focus, Respect, Bravery, Professionalism, Compassion, Collaboration and Hope, and be able to demonstrate these through everyday practices including supportive leadership and line management.

Your management and administrative skills will be highly valued in sustaining the clinical operations of James’ Place. You will need to be proficient in Office 365 software such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, with the ability to manage Outlook cloud calendars, SharePoint, CRM databases, and shared inboxes.

The Centre Manager will often meet the men who come to James’ Place in suicidal crisis and so you will be able to demonstrate empathy and an ability to create a sense of calm while working in a sensitive and busy environment.

Job Description

We are looking to recruit a dynamic and experienced Senior Research Manager to manage the monitoring, evaluation and learning activities of a high profile National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) portfolio of translational, clinical and applied health research infrastructure funding schemes. 

Job Purpose 
Reporting to the Assistant Director, the post holder will work closely with the rest of the infrastructure team (especially the Programme Leads and Senior Research Managers who are responsible for the development and management of the infrastructure schemes), and with Data Analytics colleagues (who are responsible for designing systems for capturing, cleaning and presenting data), to manage the infrastructure reporting and evaluation activities. At an award level, you will develop, improve and maintain monitoring and reporting processes, and at a scheme level, you will implement monitoring, evaluation and learning approaches, including overseeing the delivery and/or commissioning of impact evaluations. You will support a wider programme around visibility and the strategic use of data within infrastructure, considering links to policy directives around Busting Bureaucracy, the developing NIHR digital strategy and system operability issues with NHS and University systems. 

You will be adept at dealing with an array of data sources (metrics, narrative and financial reporting information), have a good understanding of research impact, an understanding of the routes to achieving it, and how to apply monitoring, evaluation and learning approaches to generate insight that can evidence impact and support continuous improvement of scheme funding and support processes. You will have experience of managing complex projects, knowledge of the UK’s research environment and political agenda, and honed skills in stakeholder management. You will be a strategic thinker, capable of seeing the issues and solutions from a number of different stakeholder perspectives to see the bigger picture. You will be comfortable dealing with complexity and developing an approach to balance the needs of different stakeholders. You will be a team player, able to work in close partnership with a number of teams at NIHR and the DHSC.

Key Accountabilities:

• Manage elements of the infrastructure monitoring processes: you will manage parts of the infrastructure reporting process both internally at the technical systems level and externally with users to support training and propose improvements. You will work with others to develop new reporting processes (for new awards), maintain existing annual and quarterly reporting, support the review of submitted reports by the team and the production of feedback, and drive process improvements through a continuous improvement cycle.

• Development of reporting outputs: support quantitative and qualitative data interrogation in projects across the infrastructure. Interrogating data to support strategic reviews, and, where feasible and appropriate, designing visual dashboards of progress using data collected and collated for reporting purposes. Also draw on award level reported data to feed into strategic scheme level evaluations and reviews, to produce impact case studies, and to feed into organisational level learning and reporting. This work will help articulate the contribution of the NIHR infrastructure to the wider health and social care system as well as feeding into broader NIHR initiatives such as the NIHR Impact Programme.

• Scheme reviews: support the delivery of scheme mid-term reviews and evaluations, working closely with the infrastructure team’s Senior Research Managers responsible for specific schemes and the central Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning team to design and plan an appropriate review process for individual schemes.

• Stakeholder engagement: through appropriate stakeholder engagement, developing a sound understanding of data needs, minimising additional requirements of key stakeholders and understanding the types of reporting outputs/feedback that would provide the greatest utility for accountability and learning purposes. Proactively share key learnings across the infrastructure team and with wider stakeholder groups as appropriate.

• Flexible support to the team:  flexible approach to work tasks with ability to ‘muck in’ and provide support on additional tasks across the team during busy times.

Line Management:

• The post holder will be responsible for the line management of one Research Manager and will matrix manage other team members, where appropriate.

Qualifications

Experience and Technical Skills

Required Criteria: 

• A PhD degree in biomedical or health sciences research (or significant equivalent sector experience)
• Experience of implementation or management of monitoring, evaluation and learning approaches including impact assessment and reporting, ideally within health and care research
• Data collection, collation and analysis skills using both qualitative and quantitative methodologies
• Current knowledge of the UK’s health and care research and policy landscape
• Strategic thinker able to interpret complex information while having a clear view of the “big picture”
• Solutions orientated with evidence of delivering projects, requiring evidence synthesis, report writing and developing implementable recommendations

Desirable Criteria:

• Specialist training/knowledge in monitoring, evaluation and learning approaches and methods
• Experience of authoring high quality impact reports and case study reports for a variety of technical and general audiences
• Experience of developing electronic dashboards using visualisation tools such as Qlik Sense, Looker Studio or equivalents
• Line management and staff development experience
