Job description

We are a UK wide membership organisation for all health professionals working in adult, paediatric and adolescent rheumatology. BSR works to promote excellence in the care of people with rheumatic and musculoskeletal disorders and to support those delivering it, involving patients and carers at every step.

We are looking for a highly organised and motivated individual to join us as a Clinical Projects Administrator. The main purpose of the role is to provide administrative and project management support to the Biologic Registers, Research and Quality Improvement functions of BSR that form a vital part of our work that aim to foster excellence in all aspects of rheumatology.   

Location 

Our office is based in Central London with flexible (hybrid) working options available 

In this role you will

  • Support the project management of BSR Biologics Registers by managing requests for data access and publications and assisting in promotion through production of promotional material, social media content and conference attendance 

  • Monitor BSR Registers email inbox and liaise with the registers steering committee, pharmaceutical company representatives, academics and clinicians 

  • Act as the point of contact for the annual Research Funding Call providing administrative support around shortlisting, contracting and invoicing processes 

  • Work with the Education and Marketing/Digital department to help develop and maintain relevant sections of BSR website 

  • Assist with servicing and co-ordination of BSR committees including preparing agendas, taking minutes and disseminating papers 

  • Provide general administrative support as required by the Director of Practice and Quality including communications support across the wider team 

We'd love to hear from you if you:  

  • Have relevant administrative work experience such as organising meetings, diary management and accurate minute taking 

  • Have a collaborative work ethic and ability to engage positively with all stakeholders 

  • Have a professional approach and ability to work without close supervision 

  • Produce work with accuracy, diligence and attention to detail 

  • Effectively use information technology: Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)

  • Have an interest in rheumatology and health research 

  • Have experience of writing clear and accessible publication material, production and design of webpages, newsletters and publications – desirable  

  • Have experience of academic research processes and an understanding of basic medical vocabulary – desirable
