Role Requirements
To lead in the pharmacy service in the absence of the Principal Pharmacist to ensure services are of the highest standards of quality, are evidence based and meet the needs of the children. Manage, co-ordinate and provide day-to-day clinical pharmacy services to The Children’s Trust, supervise the procurement, preparation, dispensing and distribution of medicines across the site and ensure medication is procured in a safe, timely and cost-effective manner.
With experience of working in a complex environment, across a large and diverse workforce, you will be exceptionally organised with a high-level of attention to detail. You will naturally possess excellent inter-personal skills, and an ability to consult and positively engage with key stakeholders across the organisation.

New Horizon Youth Centre has been commissioned by the Mayor’s Office for Policing and Crime (MOPAC) as part of an Alliance with Safer London, St Giles Trust and the Anna Freud Centre to deliver on their Children and Young People’s Violence and Exploitation and Reduction support service. The Educational Mental Health Practitioner (EMHP) Programme is a one-year postgraduate diploma course which is part of the child mental health workforce development programme. The course started in January 2019 to train graduate entry practitioners to the child and young people mental health workforce. The Course Tutor will support teaching delivery on the Pg Dip in Educational Mental Health Practitioner programme. The MARAC Coordinator will coordinate, administer, and manage the operation of the MARAC. One of the main purposes of the role is to bring together agencies to ensure that local systems are truly keeping survivors safe, holding perpetrators to account, and preventing domestic abuse. A key principle of the post is respecting the independence of each agency and ensuring the MARAC’s key principles are survivor’s and children’s safety, offender accountability and giving a clear message that domestic abuse is s crime that will not be tolerated. The post holder will be located in Brent, and will meet MARAC partners in a variety of settings in the community. The post holder will also spend time raising awareness of the service, domestic abuse, and the MARAC in addition to training agencies on the MARAC and inducting new MARAC representatives on the MARAC.
The post holder will have an excellent understanding of domestic abuse and its effects on women and children, of best practice in supporting survivors of domestic abuse, and of the MARAC. The post holder will also have a good understanding of managing a project.

Role purpose
We are looking for maternity cover for a full-time counsellor role on our Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) counselling service, Mind My Home. The service offers SFBT to adults (18+) with low to moderate mental health needs.
We are looking for experienced candidates with post graduate qualification in CBT, Counselling or Psychotherapy and accreditation from a relevant professional body e.g. BACP (Registered member MBACP).
Due to the nature of the work, if successful, you will need to have an up-to-date DBS check completed prior to undertaking unsupervised client work.
Place of work
Counselling sessions will take place face-to-face, virtually, and via telephone, so you will need to travel across Spelthorne and the tri-borough of Hammersmith & Fulham, Ealing, and Hounslow, and have the option to work remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitating the 8 sessions (7+1 assessment) of SFBT for new referrals.
- Assisting in the triage and booking of SFBT appointments.

You will:
- Provide support for the Service Manager in the Wandsworth Floating Support Team.
- Work directly with a small caseload of service users, delivering support to enable independence and mental health recovery.
- Carry out and evidence regular assessments of support needs; drawing up, implementing, monitoring and reviewing support plans, risk assessment and outcomes monitoring.
- Promote independence, wellbeing, inclusion, and resilience.
- Provide line management and ‘hands-on’ support to the staff team when complex support issues arise, or breaches of tenancy occur and take charge when there is a major incident.
You are:
- Someone with at least two years’ experience within a visiting support, supported housing team and/or a floating support team.
- Knowledgeable and experienced in working directly with people with mental health needs, including experience of working in a recovery-based service.
- Able to support planning and mental health recovery approaches with a compassionate and empathetic approach.
- Experienced in working across multi-agency approaches to health, including social services, landlords, and other service providers.
- Able to work cohesively and collaboratively within a team.
- Someone with a wide range of life experience, effective communication skills, and able to demonstrate degree level academic experience.
- Competent in using computer programmes and databases.

The Royal College of Ophthalmologists (RCOphth) is a membership organisation and the voice of the profession, with over 4,000 members in the UK and overseas. Our role is to champion the specialty, set standards of training and practice, and influence change to make a difference to the lives of patients with eye conditions.
Job Purpose
As part of the four strong events team, this role is responsible for coordinating the delivery of numerous educational events throughout the year. These events support the clinical and non-clinical skills and professional development of our members as key components of lifelong learning and improvement.
In addition, the role will support the Events Manager in the administration of the showcase Annual Congress as well as the Admissions Ceremony. As part of the team, you will also assist other team members as necessary.
Main Purpose and Deliverables
- Delivery of the Training the Trainers Courses (TTT) and Certificate of eligibility for Specialist Registration (CESR) Courses.
- End to end event, speaker and customer support specifically for the TTT and CESR events and as delegated for the education and seminar programme.
- Assist in the management of the education and seminar programme as well as the Admissions Ceremony with the Events Manager.
- Management of Congress registration.
Main responsibilities
- Liaising with the comms team to market events.
- Respond to all enquiries.
- Manage the online course booking process (this includes payments receipts, etc.)
- Send out event information to attendees.
- Produce feedback and collate the information.
- Send out course completion or attendance certificates.
- Book all rooms as required and catering.
- Organise speakers for events, liaising with relevant stakeholders.
- Book the speakers’ hotel accommodation.
- Maintain the relevant sections on the College website.
- Maintain the database for relevant faculty and facilitators.

- Add speaker registration and bulk registrations from sponsors.

Other duties
- Assist in the administration of the Admissions Ceremony.
- Some travel is expected, including attendance at events and overnight stays. Working outside normal hours may also be required from time to time.
