We’re now looking for an experienced Project Manager (Partnerships & Communities) to lead the delivery of complex, high‑impact programmes across England and Scotland – working with partners, funders, colleagues and people with lived experience to turn strategy into action.

You’ll lead projects end‑to‑end – from early concept and funding through to mobilisation, delivery, evaluation and legacy – ensuring programmes are well governed, well delivered and genuinely impactful.
In this varied and high-profile role, you will be:
- Managing a diverse portfolio of projects, campaigns and partnerships, delivered to agreed scope, budget, timelines and quality
- Working closely with external partners, funders and suppliers to coordinate delivery and maximise impact
- Applying consistent, high‑quality project management standards, documentation and governance throughout the project lifecycle
- Leading risk, safeguarding, health & safety and compliance management across community‑focused programmes
- Producing board, partner and audit‑ready reporting, giving clear visibility of progress, risks, outcomes and learning
- Leading impact reporting and evaluation – turning data and insight into evidence, learning and future opportunity
- Managing project budgets, resources and supplier relationships to ensure value for money and compliance

This is a highly collaborative role, working closely with colleagues across Partnerships & Communities, Group Projects, Operations, Support Services and external organisations.
Our ideal candidate:
You’ll be a confident and values‑driven project professional who combines strong delivery discipline with empathy, creativity and influence.
- Proven experience leading complex projects end‑to‑end in multi‑stakeholder environments
- A strong understanding of project governance, assurance, risk management and portfolio delivery
- Experience working with partners, community organisations or suppliers, building trusted, productive relationships
- Confidence managing budgets, financial planning and value‑for‑money decisions within projects
- Excellent communication skills – able to translate complex information into clear, engaging messages for varied audiences
- Experience using project management tools and digital reporting platforms (e.g. MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, Visio or similar)
- A recognised project management qualification (PRINCE2 Practitioner or equivalent) or equivalent experience
- A genuine commitment to inclusion, co‑production and social impact, with an understanding of safeguarding and ethical delivery

About the role

About the Campaigns and Public Affairs Manager role
In this varied and exciting position, you will manage high profile WI campaigns and play a key role in achieving change on key issues affecting women and their community.
The Campaigns and Public Affairs Manager provides essential management of the Public Affairs team and its activities- including campaigning, lobbying, research and policy work- whilst working closely with the Director of Campaigns and Membership to maintain a strategic overview of the department’s work.

About you
Experienced in all aspects of campaigning and lobbying, with a strong understanding of current affairs and issues across the policy spectrum, you will be adept at taking a campaign from start to finish, whilst developing impactful influencing strategies in a political context. You will be a confident line manager, with experience of supporting and overseeing your team’s performance, development and wellbeing.
The ability to represent the NFWI externally- to civil servants, government departments and external organisations- as well as working closely with volunteers and members at a grassroots level is also key.
An understanding of key policy issues relating to areas such as women’s health or the environment would also be desirable, however your passion for helping the WI achieve its mission by making a difference every day will be the key to your success in the role.

This role follows a 37 hours, over a 7 day working pattern. This is a site-based role, requiring occasional travel to meetings with partners, other attractions and to our main hubs for collaborative meetings and team activities.
Role Overview
The purpose of the post is to manage and lead the day-to-day operations, business development and visitor experience at our Canal Museum Stoke Bruerne. The Visitor Services Manager (VSM) will lead the site team at Stoke Bruerne (colleagues and volunteers) on a day to day basis to focus on the visitor offer, striving for excellence in experience, achieving financial sustainability around income generation and charitable giving and delivering a consistently high-class visitor welcome across the board. This includes managing a range of front of house functions including food and beverage, retail, events and commercial boat trips. The Visitor Services Manager plays a central role in overseeing, coordinating and championing the experience of every visitor from site presentation, to large/small scale events and programming, making the site a must-see attraction, acclaimed internationally, nationally and loved locally.
As a key member of the Destinations and Attractions Management Team the VSM will work strategically with colleagues in other attractions and with other teams within the Trust such as, Operations, Fundraising, Collections, Marketing and Volunteering teams amongst others to promote, drive and deliver excellence in customer service and a visitor centred approach. The VSM will work collaboratively with teams and volunteers to ensure focused visitor activity which will help build our audiences and increase visitor footfall whilst building engagement for the Trust brand.
A key accountability of the role is managing and reporting on financial performance, delivering on KPI’s and leading and motivating teams to deliver income targets whilst effectively managing costs.
The Visitor Services Manager will manage a range of stakeholder relationships including representing the Trust at local partnership groups, representing the site at relevant external meetings as appropriate.

You will be able to demonstrate the ability to create safe working environments and understand the importance of compliance in day to day operations. Fundraising at the Sutton Trust
We are seeking a dynamic and confident fundraiser to be our Corporate Partnerships & Events Manager. The Sutton Trust is at an exciting point in our organisational journey, with a new Chairperson and ambitions to significantly grow our impact and fundraising as part of our 2030 strategy.
Over the past five years the impact of the Sutton Trust has increased, especially with our programmes which have gone from supporting 11,000 young people a year to 14,000 in the 24/25 programme year. We have secured a relatively stable income of c.£6m over several years, and in the last two years this has grown to £7m+. Our organisational strategy, which takes us to 2030/31, will continue this fundraising trajectory with a need to increase annual income on a sustained basis to £12m. With corporate income accounting for nearly half our fundraised income, there is considerable enthusiasm and opportunity in the corporate world for building strategic partnerships with The Sutton Trust.
Our fundraising approach will continue to focus on major gifts and strategic multi-year partnerships, leveraging a range of drivers to secure corporate support. Our highly engaged Chairperson has a commercial background and is keen to leverage contacts in the corporate world, giving a network of prospective contacts to explore.
The role and team
As Corporate Partnerships & Events Manager, you will be an experienced partnership manager and fundraiser, confident in securing new business through active prospecting and networking along with experience in securing and stewarding strategic partnerships with corporates and their associated corporate foundations. You will have an entrepreneurial mindset for income generation, able to confidently manage competing demands to balance securing new partnerships and delivering high quality account management to your portfolio of current and prospective supporters.
The role will lead a portfolio of corporate partnerships, focused on delivering shared strategic goals to increase social mobility in the workplace and supporting a more socio-economically diverse workforce for the future. The role will be the point-person within the Development Team for organisational events, working closely with key colleagues in our marketing & events and programme functions to support delivery of high-quality events. They will also take responsibility for delivering successful stewardship events, including programme visits. It will be crucial to work closely with a range of stakeholders, especially colleagues, to deliver successful stewardship events that showcase the varied work of the Sutton Trust and engage supporters with our work. This will include working closely with existing staff who lead on organisational, advocacy and programme events to ensure donors and prospects are able to attend and engage with the work.
Corporate partnerships are delivered by a talented and growing team, all with their own portfolios based on partnership level and complexity. Team members work on both new business and account management, with ambitious individual income targets.

- A strong team working ethic, able to motivate and inspire staff, encouraging knowledge sharing and peer support.
- The ability to operate on a senior level and represent The Goods Depot externally.
- The ability to make decisions, multi-task, prioritise and delegate effectively.
- Commercial awareness and financial literacy to manage budgets, targets and financial reporting.
- An excellent standard of IT including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint or equivalent), Microsoft Teams and relevant operational software (e.g., Sage, stock management and route planning systems).
- The ability to network and liaise effectively with individuals and agencies in the private, public and voluntary sectors, and governmental departments.
- The ability to achieve targets and work to tight deadlines.
- The ability to work flexibly.
