You will be required to provide complex professional legal advice on employment law matters to our management team, national executive committee and members. Managing a team of junior colleagues and supporting their complex casework, you will advise on collective employment law matters and review first stage complaints.

We are seeking an experienced paralegal, or trainee solicitor to fill the post Employment Law Caseworker. The Pop-up Shop Lead will manage all aspects of the Derry Castle Street Pop Up Shop, including leading and supporting volunteers, maximising income generation and ensuring an excellent customer and donor experience.

As this is a newly established pop-up shop, the post holder will play a key role in setting up, developing and embedding the shop within the local community during its first year of operation. About Chopwell Regeneration Group (CRG)

CRG is a trusted, community-led charity working at the heart of Chopwell to improve wellbeing, opportunity and quality of life.

Founded in 2017 by local residents, CRG has grown into a locally valued and widely respected organisation delivering community-led regeneration that works. We have a strong track record of partnership, collaborating with organisations across health, education and employment sectors.

In 2022 we opened The Bank, a multi-award winning community hub. It hosts a popular café, an affordable community market, a training kitchen, rental offices and business support, and a wide programme of learning, wellbeing, employability and social activities. 

In 2024 we opened our second building The Regeneration Shop - a volunteer-led repair and reuse space providing opportunities for residents to develop practical skills, reduce waste and build confidence. We are currently in the process of acquiring a new and bigger building for our Shop, to expand our repair activity and its associated social and commercial impact.

We have a team of 11 staff and every year work with over 200 volunteers.

Alongside our venues, we deliver a range of projects across Chopwell. This includes our food sustainability initiative Can Chopwell Feed Itself? and Brightening Up Chopwell bringing people together to improve shared public spaces and strengthen community pride.

Job Description: Senior Programmes Manager

Hours: 30 - 37.5 per week* (subject to agreement)

Holiday:  6 weeks pro rata (includes bank holidays)

Pay: £39,000 - £48,000 per year pro rata (depending on skills and experience)

The Senior Programmes Manager will work closely with our Senior Finance & Commercial Manager to provide leadership for Chopwell Regeneration Group (CRG), reporting to the Board of Trustees.  They will lead on strategy, planning and delivery for all programmes, working with board, staff and volunteers, and external partners to ensure activities are achievable, properly resourced, financially sustainable, impactful and effectively evaluated.

Key areas of responsibility:

● Strategic planning and delivery of social, cultural, education and training programmes that meet CRG’s objectives, including improved mental health and wellbeing, skills development and employability for Chopwell residents.

● Leading the growth of our public programmes that deliver wide-ranging educational and wellbeing benefits for the people of Chopwell, from social prescribing activity to business support. This includes planning annual programme aims and outcomes, developing partnerships, and ensuring delivery is financially sustainable and properly resourced.

● Leadership and management of staff including line management responsibility.

● Managing the volunteer programme in line with best practice and working with the staff team to recruit, communicate with and support volunteers.

● Developing and managing successful and innovative partnerships across a range of sectors and growing partnerships locally, regionally and nationally.

● Ensuring there is sufficient staff capacity to deliver programmes effectively, and advocating for and working with the Board to identify funding and support for additional resources.

● Identifying new funding opportunities and working with CRG Board to secure grant funding for programmes in line with strategic objectives.

● Managing budgets for all programmes and ensuring financial targets are met. 

● Evaluating outcomes across all programmes including collecting data, generating case studies and impact reports for Trustees, funders and a range of stakeholders.

● Ensuring programmes are delivered in accordance with current legislation, contractual/accrediting body requirements and CRG’s policies and procedures including Safeguarding, Equal Opportunities, Health and Safety and Data Protection. 

● Working with the staff team to generate news articles, photos, printed material and social media content to promote CRG’s programmes.

● Representing CRG at relevant events, networks and forums to build networks and raise CRG’s profile across a range of sectors.

● We would ideally like the successful candidate to start as soon as possible, but can be flexible.

About the Role 

Whitechapel Gallery is seeking an experienced and highly organised Senior Events Manager to lead the delivery of its full events programme, including fundraising galas, donor cultivation events, exhibition openings, private views and commercial venue hire. 

This is a senior, business-critical role working closely with the Director of Development to deliver a high-profile programme of events that support fundraising, stakeholder engagement and commercial income generation. 

You will take ownership of the end-to-end planning and execution of a diverse events portfolio, ensuring every event is delivered to an exceptional standard, on time and on budget. The role will play a key part in the successful delivery of the Gallery’s 125th anniversary programme, requiring creativity, operational excellence and strong commercial awareness.

Key Responsibilities 

• Lead the delivery of the Gallery’s annual events programme, including fundraising events, exhibition openings, donor events and venue hire activity

• Manage all aspects of event planning and delivery from concept through to evaluation

• Deliver high-quality events that contribute to fundraising and commercial income targets

• Manage event budgets, financial reporting and forecasting

• Oversee suppliers, production, AV, catering and venue logistics

• Build strong relationships with donors, sponsors, partners and internal stakeholders

• Line manage and support the Events Executive

This role focuses on developing new corporate partnership opportunities, with responsibility for progressing relationships from initial engagement through to agreement. You will work independently on opportunities while being supported by colleagues across the Corporate Development team.

The role will involve developing partnerships that reflect both fundraising goals and wider corporate interests, including strategic partnerships, purpose led collaboration and alignment with corporate responsibility objectives.

• Proactively secure new high-value corporate partnerships, commercial participation agreements and charity of the year applications of £20k per annum and above
• Lead new business relationships internally and externally from first contact to agreement

As our new Business Development Manager, you will play a central role in expanding our funding portfolio, unlocking new strategic partnerships, and scaling high-impact programmes across more than 50 countries.

Working closely with the Head of Business Development and Funding Partnerships, this role will

Strategy - Actively engage in donor analysis; identifying emerging donor trends and contribute to the diversification of donor funding and the execution of our new business development strategy.

​Systems -​ Review and design effective business development systems and operating procedures.

​Proposals - Lead funding opportunities with institutional donors (FCDO, ISF, EC and other bilateral European donors) including trusts and foundations when renewing or expanding WFD’s non-regional portfolio.

We are looking for the following

• Track record of engaging with, developing and delivering business development strategies.
• At least 4 years’ experience managing end-to-end bid processes.
• Experience writing convincing bids for both grants and commercial contracts.
• Evidence of winning institutional funding.
• Strong understanding of donor landscapes.
• Experience working with global cross-functional teams.
• Strong proposal writing and budgeting skills.
• Proficient in business development systems and operations procedures including designing and implementing.
• Experience in consortium development and strong negotiation skills.
• Strategic and commercially aware.
• Highly organised and able to manage competing priorities.
• A confident communicator and collaborator
• Self-motivated and proactive.

Overall job purpose

To lead and develop the Finance team and provide financial management and business support. To lead CCT’s audit process, month-end process and the Trust’s investments and banking services. To support the Director of Finance and Commercial on projects as required.

The Head of Finance will have responsibility for managing the Trust’s accounting system.  The postholder will also lead the annual audit, month end reporting and investment and banking services.  Working closely with the Director of Finance and Commercial and Finance Analyst, they will provide internal and external stakeholders with the necessary financial reports to manage Trust business.

This role is also responsible for deputising for the Director of Finance & Commercial in their absence.

We are seeking a fantastic corporate partnerships manager to join our Income Generation team. This is a key role for the organisation, proactively leading on new business; delivering mid and high-value partnerships and maintaining a healthy and active pipeline of new prospects to support the long-term sustainability of our work. The successful candidate will develop compelling proposals and pitches to build new relationships and provide excellent stewardship for existing corporate partners. They will manage and deliver the Income Generation strategy, annual operational plan, and income forecasting and develop accurate annual budgets and forecasts, monitoring performance against plan and meeting KPIs and targets.
We are looking for an individual able to demonstrate a good track record of success in achieving and exceeding set income targets in corporate fundraising as well as devising, driving and delivering corporate fundraising plans. Excellent written and creative skills, with experience in developing relationships is crucial as is the ability to organise, prioritise, and deliver high-quality work to tight deadlines. Strong networking skills with the ability to manage high-profile relationships professionally and tactfully are essential.

You will work to forge and sustain long-term, constructive partnerships with new and existing partners that help us grow funds and achieve our charitable goals. You will: 

· quickly learn and be able to articulate well our campaigns and victim service and their evidence base, our funding need, and the actions that corporates can and should take to prioritise safe and green use of roads, through funding us and supporting our campaigns

· find and unlock access to senior leads within companies not already working with us (e.g., public affairs, communications and corporate social relationship teams) as well as taking up the reins of stewarding relationships with some of the companies already working with us

· listen and understand corporates’ priorities, understanding their budgets, potential to fundraise within their teams and networks, and their safety, sustainability, policy and pr priorities; and articulate what Brake does and our need for help

· forge, together, actionable joint plans that generate funds for Brake from a company, directly or through their supply chain / customers. You will achieve six figure funding targets, by generating five figure funds from new and existing partners

· Work alongside team members in public affairs, PR, and public engagement to understand our programmes of work in campaigns and seek the engagement of new and existing corporate supporters in those programmes, for example through participation and sponsorship

· Be responsible for developing your own pipeline of leads and accurately forecasting income you will fundraise from this pipeline and listing partnership activities that will be delivered

· Operate within Brake’s Ethical Partnership Policy and other policies, which enables us to sustain our charity values and work alongside corporations safely.

· Be a team player and able to step up to the plate and speak up for the charity, for example giving speeches or undertaking interviews on the charity’s behalf.
