Providence Row works with those affected by homelessness and those vulnerably housed in London, offering an integrated service of crisis support, advice and progression programmes. We ensure that people often excluded from mainstream services gain the support and opportunities they need to create a safe, healthy and sustainable life away from the streets.
Through our Reset Outreach & Referral Service (RORS), we support people in Tower Hamlets affected by drugs and alcohol. Our team takes a harm-reduction approach: meeting people where they are, reducing stigma, and helping them access treatment, health services, and wider community support.

The ideal candidate
To be considered for this role, you should be able to:

Provide outreach and in-reach support to people affected by substance use across Tower Hamlets, including those who may have a history of rough sleeping, be vulnerably housed, or otherwise disconnected from mainstream services.

Carry out person-centred assessments and work collaboratively with service users to develop support and recovery plans.

Make timely and appropriate referrals to specialist services (e.g. treatment, health, housing, and social care) to ensure holistic support.

Develop strong working relationships with partner agencies to coordinate joint support and reduce barriers to engagement.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Associate Director of Finance with a Japanese cultural institution, on a full-time (35 hours per week), FTC (to March 2029) basis. As Associate Director of Finance you will be accountable for the organisation’s financial operations.
There is hybrid working in place at this organisation with 2-3 days per week in their central London office.
As Associate Director of Finance, you will:

THE ROLE

The role encompasses the financial operations of the charity - from purchase ledger and payroll to preparation of the management and statutory accounts and delivery of Board reports. JOB DESCRIPTION
Programme Leadership & Partnership Management
- Lead the delivery of core programmes and our international award, ensuring alignment with organisational strategy, funding commitments, KPIs, and quality standards.
- Oversee programme planning, scheduling, logistics, and budget management with Programme Managers.
- Monitor delivery performance and budgets, ensuring effective processes and accurate reporting to the Senior Leadership Team (SLT).

AWF was established from a legacy left to the British Veterinary Association (BVA) in 1983 and was set up as an independent charity to directly support the veterinary profession, promote best practice and drive improvements in animal welfare
We are seeking an experienced charity manager to coordinate and manage the activity of the BVA Animal Welfare Foundation (AWF), which places animal welfare at the forefront of veterinary knowledge via research, education and debate.
You will have a strong track record of working with a Board of Trustees and associated committees on the successful implementation of a charity strategy, alongside an ability to lead on the implementation of a focused fundraising strategy.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and strong organisational skills, including the ability to prioritise, and work to strict deadlines. Alongside experience of a variety of fundraising activities, event planning, and knowledge of charity governance, this new role represents an exciting opportunity to optimise the unique partnership with BVA and build strategic relationships with key stakeholders to raise the profile of AWF.
Currently there are no direct line management responsibilities but as the charity develops it is likely that line management responsibilities will become part of this role. The role will also involve working closely with BVA’s policy and public affairs, media and campaigns, and marketing and events teams.
