RESPONSIBILITIES:
Outreach, Wheelchair Skills and Wider Engagement
· Engage the widest possible range of people with spinal cord injury to sign up for further contact with Back Up, through organising and/or delivering wheelchair skills training sessions and talks for patients and families at the spinal cord injury centre in the region, general hospitals and with other key partners or locations as identified.
· Coordinate, support and manage volunteer trainers who are helping to deliver sessions and talking to patients and families.
· Lead, sustain and develop strong and effective working relationships with a wide range of health professionals and other charity representatives e.g. through presentations, calls and meetings, to ensure that people access seamless support.
Proactive Contact with People Affected by Spinal Cord Injury
· Maintain and support relationships with a large number of people affected by SCI (adults, children and young people and their parents) through regular proactive contact. This could be in person in the spinal cord injury centre, other settings or through events, telephone contact or other interactions.
· Explore their feelings, wishes and needs and provide tailored peer support to help them feel supported, access relevant services from Back Up and elsewhere through proactive referrals, and become more aware of the possibilities of life after SCI.
Networking, Partnerships and Sustainability
· Develop and maintain a map of touchpoints in the region, where people with an SCI will come into contact.
· Develop partnerships, referral routes and signposting processes to develop reach beyond the spinal cord injury centre.
· Develop and manage a network of community ambassador volunteers to support the wider work and sustainability of Back Up through fundraising and other related activities.
· Take a lead on encouraging localised fundraising activity; working towards wider income targets that support ongoing sustainability.
Other Duties and Responsibilities
· Maintaining accurate records on the database.
· Work as a team, consulting with others to ensure you give and receive high quality support.
· Keep Back Up informed of the issues affecting the people you are supporting and of developments at the spinal cord injury centre, general hospitals and other settings.

About NUM:
National Ugly Mugs (NUM) is a UK-wide charity which delivers a holistic safety, wellbeing and economic support model for sex workers, combining digital harm prevention, specialist casework, mental health support and pathways to economic stability. Activities are delivered UK-wide via a digital platform, remote services, and in-person hubs. We run a wellbeing drop-in service in Glasgow and other in-person services and events in Manchester and London. Background and Responsibilities:
The casework team is at the heart of NUM. We provide vital support from assistance through the criminal justice journey to essential emergency financial support. We are looking for a Casework Team Lead to lead our casework team. If you are driven, have a keen eye for detail, can effectively motivate others in a demanding and emotive area of work with the ability to support people in an empathetic and trauma informed way then this could be the role for you.
This role will specifically focus on the day-to-day running of the casework team alongside carrying your own caseload. The work involves utilising and monitoring our digital platform and CMS maintaining and monitoring the documentation of cases and coordinating responses to ensure sex workers received the high standard of support they deserve, to prevent and recover from violence as well as seek justice and recourse. The Victim Support Casework Team Lead is responsible for maintaining high standards for all digital, individualised and in-person support provided by the casework team. 1) Management: Manage the operations and administration associated with victim and vocational support casework.

Day-to-day tasks include but are not limited to the following.

Essential Skills and Experience
Demonstrable casework skills, with experience in delivering advice, information, emotional and practical support and advocacy in partnership with health, wellbeing and criminal justice outcomes for individuals who may have experienced traumatic events.

Purpose of the role
The Programme Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day coordination of Frazzled's online and face-to-face peer support programme.
Working closely with the Head of Programmes, you'll oversee Frazzled’s meeting schedules, recruit and support volunteer facilitators, coordinate training and onboarding, carry out regular observations and contribute to the continuous improvement of our programme. We are seeking an experienced Academic Quality and Conduct Officer to join our Registry team and oversee the processes for the organisation in relation to academic quality and standards and student conduct, complaints and appeals. The postholder will help ensure that academic regulations, quality assurance processes, committee operations and student casework procedures are implemented consistently, fairly and effectively, in line with institutional policy, sector expectations and regulatory requirements.
