About the Role
As Media Lead you will be responsible for running the charity's busy press office and you will play a central role in shaping how Victim Support is seen and heard in the media. You'll write and deliver a strategic Media Plan that positions the charity as a trusted and recognised victims' voice, increases the profile of our services and contributes to influencing positive change.
This is a hands-on role where you'll manage media enquiries, build trusted relationships with journalists and ensure our spokespeople are briefed and supported for interviews. You'll work closely with colleagues across external affairs, social media and frontline services, and provide expert media advice to senior leaders. You'll also line manage our Stories Officer and oversee our Stories Library, giving a platform to victims' voices and experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and run the Victim Support's press office.
- Provide quotes and comments to the media, and secure and manage interviews with VS spokespeople.
- Write and deliver the charity's Media Plan.
- Develop and maintain relationships with journalists, editors and producers.
- Oversee the strategic development and growth of the charity's Stories Library.
- Enhance and protect the charity's reputation.
- Increase the visibility of our services.
- Oversee the effective monitoring, reporting and evaluating of media activity.

Purpose of the Role
The Public Experience Producer will play a key role in growing and diversifying audiences by delivering innovative, high-quality, and engaging programmes, events, and interpretation. Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver dynamic cultural and educational programming including events, workshops, festivals and experiences across the year.
- Programme and coordinate talks, tours, and collaborations such as BI Talks and guest speaker events.
- Manage and develop living history experiences, including training for interpreters and volunteers, storytelling performances and scripts.
- Collaborate with the Estates and Operations team to maintain high standards of visitor experience, including upkeep of digital exhibits, interactive elements, and sensory features.
- Work with Brunel Institute to ensure core interpretation elements are produced to a high standard and accessible for all audiences.
- Work closely with Learning and Community teams to ensure inclusive and accessible programming.
- Contribute to evaluation, reporting, and communications support for public programmes.
- Draft and manage contracts and agreements with suppliers, artists, and performers.
- Coordinate event logistics including set-up, technical support, and volunteer involvement.

Role overview
We are looking to fill a Programme Manager role.
This would be working on our Rise programme, managing multiple relationships with university partners and leading and supporting a delivery team of Programme Coordinators (PCs) and Programme Leaders (PLs) to attract, onboard and provide high-quality support to Associates (the undergraduates we support).
Experience
To be successful, it is anticipated that you would have prior experience in the delivery of programmes and projects and in managing/leading a team.

Responsibilities
This role will have a wide impact across your programmes and the charity as a whole, as well as maintaining high-quality personalised support for your own Associates.
1) PROGRAMME DESIGN AND DELIVERY

Make decisions concerning the design and delivery of your programmes, creating a 12-month plan in advance of the start of each recruitment cycle.

Plan student recruitment activities and onboarding in collaboration with university partners. This will include working with the Pipeline and Marketing teams to efficiently meet onboarding targets.

Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of your programmes with overarching responsibility for meeting internal engagement and application success OKRs, which you will utilise throughout the year to set priority areas for your team.

Contribute to weekly Programme Manager meetings, sharing your insight and experience to generate ideas and practical solutions that support the overall improvement of upReach’s programme design and delivery.

Lead on parts of the weekly Delivery Meeting with the wider team, to ensure weekly focus areas and key team messages are communicated clearly to all PCs and PLs.
2) TEAM MANAGEMENT

Manage a team of Programme Coordinators/Leaders/Junior Managers in a variety of locations, both virtually and in person - providing ongoing personal and professional development support through weekly 1-to-1 calls or meetings, written feedback on documents, or day-to-day guidance via Slack.

Assist Programme Coordinators / Programme Leaders/Junior Managers to provide high quality personalised support to their Associates, which includes helping them to document all interactions with Associates and application progress.

Use relevant impact dashboards and data to set priorities for your team and support with competing workload demands and time management, to ensure that OKRs and stakeholder KPIs are achieved across all areas.

Manage the performance and development of your team - including setting professional development goals and utilising a range of resources and tools where necessary to help your team perform successfully in their roles. You will have regular, open and supportive discussions with your team members, giving feedback in your weekly 1-to-1s and your mid- and end-of-year appraisals.

Engage your direct reports through completing a Leadership and Management apprenticeship, if this is something your direct reports choose to do after 18 months on the FCLP.

Be part of the upReach Leadership Team and contribute to forming the strategy and direction of the charity. This also includes passing on team feedback to your manager and the leadership team and proposing practical solutions.
3) PARTNERSHIPS & EVENTS

Maintain strong relationships with university partners, including managing quarterly/annual reporting requirements on programme aims and collaborating on shared objectives.

Help your team to manage day-to-day partnership responsibilities, and coach them in relationship management. This will also involve supporting PCs/PLs where necessary to set boundaries with partners.

Coordinate events with university partners, working with the Programmes team to effectively deliver skills-based sessions for Associates.

Assist Programme Coordinators/Leaders/Junior Managers in smoothly running events and onboarding processes, both in your team and within the wider team where necessary.

Work with the partnerships team to make strategic decisions regarding how to grow upReach's existing and new partnerships.
4) OVERSEE A DELIVERY RESPONSIBILITY AREA, ROTATION OR PROJECT

Manage a Delivery Responsibility area, rotation or project. This will involve meeting with the relevant team regularly (often weekly or bi-weekly depending on the time of year/focus area), and guiding those working on this area with you.

Work with your team to achieve the objectives outlined for your area, setting clear actions and deadlines. Coach and provide guidance where needed.

Provide regular feedback to the Programme Management team and where necessary present key findings and updates to the wider team. This may also involve supporting your team to present during the Delivery Meeting and/or Team Meeting.
5) ASSOCIATE ENGAGEMENT

Support a group of your own Associates, engaging them with the upReach programme in line with OKRs.

Act as a role model for PCs, PLs & JPMs, ensuring Associate facing tasks are completed to a high quality.

Proactively use impact to monitor Associate engagement across your programme(s), identifying any areas of concern throughout the year and setting focus areas/action steps for your team to address these.

As the Individual Giving Fundraising Manager, you will lead the development and delivery of our Individual Giving strategy, placing donors at the heart of everything you do.
With a strong focus on both acquisition and retention, you will design and implement engaging campaigns across a range of income streams, including Direct Mail, Regular Giving, Lottery, Legacy, and In-Memory giving, line managing a small team of Fundraising Officers.

You will monitor performance, uphold compliance, and champion best practice in individual giving, driving long-term support and sustainable growth for our cause.
In this role, you will lead the planning, delivery, and evaluation of a diverse range of individual giving fundraising activities, you will manage campaigns end-to-end—from shaping the proposition and signing off creative, to overseeing budgets and analysing performance to drive continual improvement.
Working closely with other Fundraising Managers, you will contribute to delivering the departmental strategy, meeting income targets, and managing budgets effectively.
You will also take the lead on key fundraising projects, promoting a collaborative culture both within the team and across departments.

The Finance Manager will support the Head of Finance and work closely with the Finance Officer to deliver an efficient and robust financial service for The Photographers’ Gallery (TPG) and its trading subsidiary. A pivotal role within a small but impactful team, the Finance Manager will ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, strengthen financial processes and controls, and contribute to strategic decision-making across the organisation.
A summary of key duties is as below:
- Oversee all day-to-day finance operations, including bookkeeping, payroll, VAT returns, reconciliations, purchase and sales ledgers.
- Prepare quarterly management accounts, budgets, and cashflow reports in collaboration with the Head of Finance.
- Support in the preparation of the annual accounts and liaise directly with auditors.
- Ensure compliance with charity accounting standards (SORP), HMRC, VAT and pension requirements.
- Maintain effective financial systems and controls, working with senior staff to ensure best practice across the organisation.
- Work closely with budget holders to monitor financial performance and support effective decision making.
- Contribute to wider organisational initiatives, including digital transformation of finance processes and cross-departmental working groups.
About You
- ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualification (part-qualified considered) or significant relevant finance experience.
- Experience in financial management and bookkeeping, ideally within the charity or not-for-profit sector.
- Strong technical skills, including use of accounting systems, Excel, and financial reporting.
- Excellent organisational skills, accuracy and attention to detail, and the ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across a range of stakeholders.
- An interest in the arts, culture, and working in a values-driven environment.
