The Team
The Targeted Support Team deliver a wide variety of programmes to empower young people and adults to improve their confidence and skills and then progress into training and employment. Leading group sessions and individualised mentoring, the team deliver with passion and expertise to individuals from a range of backgrounds, offering person-centred guidance and support.
The Role
This is an exciting time to join CXK as we are looking to extend our work in Supported Employment. These roles will support a small caseload of individuals with a range of needs who are looking to move into work, enabling them to find the right opportunities and sustain the roles through in-work support. The coaches will also need to be skilled in working with employers to support them to make their roles accessible and sustainable. Growing and maintaining a strong employer base will be a central part of these exciting new roles.

Overview
Barts Health NHS Trust provides maternity and neonatal care for women and birthing people and their babies each year, providing all aspects of obstetrics and midwifery care in our labour ward, midwife-led birth centre and home birthing service.
NEL Maternity and Neonatal Voices Partnership (MNVP) listens to the experiences of women, birthing people and families, and brings together service users, staff and other stakeholders to plan, review and improve maternity and neonatal care. MNVPs ensure that service users’ voices are at the heart of decision-making in maternity and neonatal services by being embedded within the leadership of provider trusts and feeding into the Local Maternity and Neonatal System and Integrated Care Board. This influences improvements in the safety, quality, and experience of maternity and neonatal care. We work to ensure that every woman and birthing person on the maternity and neonatal pathway has a chance to have their voice heard. We do not speak for them.
We are recruiting a Maternity Lead who brings the expertise of women/birthing people with lived experience of maternity services at Barts Health NHS Trust into the heart of the development of every aspect of maternity and neonatal services at the trust.
The role of MNVP Lead is key to providing inclusive and collaborative leadership and ways of working, ensuring that all women and birthing people and their families’ views are heard and acted on. About the role
As the Project Officer for Dartmoor, you will deliver the Bike It Moor project, which forms part of the Dartmoor’s Dynamic Landscapes (DDL) programme. You will work in partnership and collaboration with other the DDL partners, who are also delivering projects as part of DDL, to accomplish shared objectives and targets. The DDL programme is led by Dartmoor National Park Authority (DNPA) and made possible by a grant from The National Lottery Heritage Fund. Thanks to National Lottery players, we are able to offer this exciting new role.
You will engage and work with selected schools and their wider communities in the project areas, developing and delivering fun, engaging and innovative activities and events. These will be inclusive and promote and enable all forms of active travel (walking, cycling, scooting and wheeling) to school.
You will plan and deliver practical skills (like cycle and scooter skills sessions, bike maintenance and led walks and rides), information events (such as assemblies, drop-in sessions, pop up stands), competitions, incentive programmes and classroom sessions. You will also plan and deliver day and overnight cycling and walking experiences, giving pupils the opportunity to explore and enjoy the local green landscape, immerse pupils in the natural heritage of the area.
You will report directly to the local Project Manager and will recruit, train and support local volunteers on the project, as well as engaging with project officers across the South region and the UK.
Due to the nature of the role, a full DBS is required to be completed by the successful person. Candidates should be based within the geographical area with regular travel expected.
About you
You should have experience of working with young people from a wide variety of backgrounds and be able to adapt your approach to meet varying needs. You must demonstrate evidence of planning and delivering engaging and interactive group workshops and activity sessions, as well as experience of events planning.
You will have experience of delivering successful behaviour change projects, ideally with a physical activity focus, and have an understanding of community based or environmental projects.
You will be a skilled communicator, with the ability to connect with different audiences ranging from children, parents, school staff and the wider community.

Digital Fundraising Lead

Purpose of Role
As Digital Fundraising Lead you’ll oversee Comic Relief’s Digital Fundraising & Engagement programme, from strategy to delivery; managing and developing a team of high performing colleagues. You’ll be role modelling and leading expert collaboration across the organisation, and with partner organisations, to deliver integrated digital fundraising and audience engagement growth in line with organisational objectives.
As a digital first organisation, a significant proportion of Comic Relief’s fundraising and public engagement is delivered via digital channels. In this high impact role, you will lead individuals and cross-organisational project teams to innovate, optimise and execute digital strategies and activities including shaping web UX journey’s; designing email communications and integrated digital media campaigns (including media targeting and digital content); and leading product and proposition development, all to deliver agreed annual income targets from a growing active supporter base. Championing innovation, robust test and learn and performance marketing methodologies, the Digital Fundraising Lead will ensure Comic Relief’s investments in digital fundraising and engagement deliver maximum gains towards a just world free from poverty.
Key responsibilities:
Strategy & Planning
· Lead the strategy setting; annual planning and budget setting for Comic Relief’s Digital Fundraising and Engagement activity, including keeping abreast of external trends; innovations and digital developments and exploring how these factor into Comic Relief’s objectives; building financial models, developing business cases, setting and monitoring budgets and managing reforecasts throughout the year.
· Where appropriate, bring x-organisational project teams together to strategise, plan and deliver digital fundraising and engagement change projects.
Delivery & Performance
· Working as a lead within the Public Activation & Individual Giving team, work with the team and wider organisation to champion digital innovation and performance optimisation, specifically leveraging new technologies, tools, approaches and data-driven insights to ensure digital communications and experiences are appropriately targeted, designed and delivered in a way that maximises audience growth, engagement and income; return on investment and / or life time value in line with agreed objectives.

Key Accountabilities

This new role will be responsible for helping to develop and manage the legacy and in memory programmes. As the Senior Legacy and In Memory Executive you will have the opportunity to develop and grow the Legacy and In Memory, helping shape our strategy to recruit, engage and steward legacy pledgers and in memory donors. - Help develop and manage people's dashboards and organisational health indicators.

Self Employed - Neonatal Lead
For Tower Hamlets, Waltham Forest, and Newham Maternity and Neonatal Voices Partnership (MNVP)
Salary: £150 per day, with reimbursement of childcare and travel expenses (subject to policy)
Length of Contract: Fixed-Term Contract Until March 2026 (subject to extension)
Reports to: MNVP Project Manager – Healthwatch Newham
Hours per week: 3 days per week across three boroughs, Monday to Friday (flexible working hours)
Based at: Home based, with meetings within Barts Health NHS Trust and frequent travel in community
Review: There will be an initial review after two months to ensure mutual alignment with the contract.
Overview
Barts Health NHS Trust provides neonatal and maternity care for women and birthing people and their babies each year across Tower Hamlets, Newham, and Waltham Forest, providing all aspects of obstetrics and midwifery care in our labour ward, midwife-led birth centre and home birthing service.
TWN Maternity and Neonatal Voices Partnership (MNVP) listens to the experiences of women, birthing people and families, and brings together service users, staff and other stakeholders to plan, review and improve maternity and neonatal care. MNVPs ensure that service users’ voices are at the heart of decision-making in maternity and neonatal services by being embedded within the leadership of provider trusts and feeding into the Local Maternity and Neonatal System and Integrated Care Board. This influences improvements in the safety, quality, and experience of maternity and neonatal care. We work to ensure that every woman and birthing person on the maternity and neonatal pathway has a chance to have their voice heard. We do not speak for them.
We are recruiting a Neonatal Lead who brings the expertise of women/birthing people with lived experience of neonatal services at Barts Health NHS Trust into the heart of the development of every aspect of neonatal and maternity services at the trust.
The role of Neonatal Lead is key to providing inclusive and collaborative leadership and ways of working, ensuring that all women and birthing people and their families’ views are heard and acted on. This is an exciting opportunity to review, shape and improve services and make a real difference to women, birthing people and their families.
This is a paid, self-employed job requiring 3 days a week (worked flexibly where possible). Working with the MNVP is an opportunity to become part of a vibrant team, improving care for our service users and enabling voices and engagement with our community.
Healthwatch Newham (part of CB Plus), along with Healthwatch Tower Hamlets and Healthwatch Waltham Forest, has been commissioned by NHS North East London ICB since 2023 to manage the MNVP in Tower Hamlets, Waltham Forest, and Newham (TWN), including staff employment.
About the role:
We are looking for a TWN Maternity & Neonatal Voices Partnership (MNVP) Neonatal Lead who:
● Is passionate about helping to develop and improve the experience of neonatal (and maternity) services for babies and their families who require neonatal care.
● Is keen to engage families and seldom listened-to groups to inform neonatal and maternity service development.
Please note this role is for someone with lived experience and is not suitable for clinical staff (although they are welcome to join the MNVP in their professional role).
This is a self-employed position on a fixed-term contract until March 2026. The successful candidate will not be entitled to employee benefits such as pension, sick pay, or holiday pay.
As a self-employed contractor, you are responsible for managing your own tax and National Insurance contributions. You will be required to invoice the organisation for your work, and payment will be made within 21 days of receipt of a monthly invoice.
This is a home-based role with flexible working hours. However, you will be expected to attend meetings within Barts Health NHS Trust and travel within the community as required.
