Oasis Hub Waterloo co-develops and co-delivers a wide range of integrated community services including a community centre, primary and secondary Academies, adult and further education opportunities, early years support, a Foodbank, advice services, a community farm, and well developed and diverse programmes for young people.
Purpose of job
This new role will lead on Individual and Events fundraising for Oasis Hub Waterloo with a focus on securing funds for Lambeth & Croydon Foodbank and our associated Advice services. This will include developing our awareness and capacity to gain income from High-Net-Worth Individuals, Events and Legacies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide administrative support to ensure the smooth and efficient running of LtL’s core services and programmes
- Provide administrative and functional support to the management team
- Provide general administrative and organisational support to the LtL team, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the Eastleigh office.
SPECIFIC DUTIES
Office Administration
- Be the first point of contact for all callers, including email, phone and in-person
- Administer incoming and outgoing mail and email boxes, giving appropriate advice or referring onwards on within one working day
- Support the management of IT equipment
- Arrange travel and accommodation for managers, staff and trustees
- Assist with the organisation of events, conferences and training on behalf of LtL
- Organise refreshments and catering at events and meetings
- Maintain LtL’s records/files/images both electronic and paper based, ensuring all data is stored accurately and securely in accordance with LtL policy and GDPR law
- Order stationery and day-to-day equipment and refreshments for the LtL office
- Implement LtL’s Health and Safety Policy within the office
- Maintain liaison with landlords to ensure a well-maintained office space and oversee the maintenance and replacement of office furniture and equipment.
HR Support
- Support recruitment and onboarding admin as needed
- Order staff uniforms, badges and equipment as required.
Project Management Support/Administration
- Respond to project enquiries and requests to ensure they are appropriately actioned within one working day
- Develop good relationships with schools over the duration of the projects Assist with printing and collation of information including replenishment of marketing/training materials, resources and stationery for the project team.
General responsibilities
- Contribute to LtL through staff and working group meetings and by taking on specific areas of responsibility as required
- Other appropriate duties as required.
What you’ll need:
Essential criteria:
- A minimum of 2 years experience of working as part of a team in a busy office environment
- Educated to a good standard of education with C Standard Grades or equivalent
- Fluent in the English language, both written and spoken
- Computer literate with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of people
- Ability to plan, organise and prioritise workload to meet deadlines
- Excellent communicator with a confident telephone manner.
Desirable criteria:
- CRM/database
- SAGE (or similar, such as Xero, Intuit etc.) experience
- Experience with using MS Teams.

Teaching Resources at Unifrog
One of the most important parts of Unifrog is a searchable library of hundreds of teaching resources, covering careers guidance, progression, SEL, and PSHE.
Each week the lessons are used by tens of thousands of teachers in the UK and around the world.
We aim for our lessons to be plug-and-play, to be truly educational, to make it easy for schools to make the most of the Unifrog platform, and to be fun even when they deal with difficult subjects. We always try to make the learning as active as possible.
In December 2023, we launched our Courses tool. Students can browse and take short online courses in a range of engaging and challenging topic areas, many of which are created in partnership with universities and employers.

As a Grants Coordinator, you’ll gain hands-on experience in the non-profit sector, develop essential skills in grant management, and play a key role in supporting our impactful programmes.
Based primarily within our Fundraising & Supporter Engagement team, the Grants Coordinator will work to grow and maximise voluntary income from grant-making trusts. This role offers the chance to work closely with colleagues across TLG and with external partners, giving you a broad and varied experience and developing your understanding of the sector. From liaising with funders and writing compelling applications to leading new projects and contributing to strategic development, you’ll be at the heart of our mission to bring hope and a future to struggling children.

Your Role in Our Vision
Marie Curie is looking for a passionate and driven Legacy Lead to inspire more supporters to leave a lasting gift in their Will. Working collaboratively with Local Legacy, Community Fundraising, Legacy Marketing, and other internal teams, you will play a key role in increasing legacy income and raising awareness of the impact of gifts in Wills.
A day in the life
- Developing and implementing a local strategy to raise awareness, steward relationships, and convert interest into legacy pledges.
- Hosting and managing engaging legacy events to inspire potential pledgers and steward existing supporters.
- Promoting free Will-writing schemes and following up with enquirers and intenders to nurture them along their legacy journey.
- Acting as the regional go-to expert for all legacy matters, providing training and guidance to colleagues and volunteers.
- Building strong relationships with supporters, Will-writing partners, solicitors, and community stakeholders to champion legacy giving.
- Contributing to the wider national Legacy & In Memory strategy and supporting cross-team projects and initiatives.
- Actively committed to Marie Curie's values, role models behaviours with authenticity and purpose.
What you'll need
- Experience in fundraising, sales, or relationship management (legacy or planned giving experience is a bonus).
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Confident public speaking and event hosting abilities.
- Self-motivated, organised, and able to work independently and collaboratively.
- Passion for the impact of legacy giving on vital care services.

Salary: £35,530 + LW up to £3,500 (where applicable)

Based: Homebased/Hybrid role with occasional travel to regional offices including Embassy Gardens London ( Wider travel is expected as part of the job across their region and UK for other meetings)
