Organisation Overview

CDS UK (the Clinic for Dissociative Studies) is a psychotherapy service, established 25 years ago to provide assessment and long-term specialist outpatient treatment to people with dissociative disorders. Its patients have often suffered the most extreme forms of abuse over a long period, and represent one of the most vulnerable and complex client groups. CDS UK is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) and an Independent Provider to the NHS, and is subcontracted by NHS commissioning organisations nationally on a discretionary perpatient basis, where local mental health services are unable to provide appropriate treatment. CDS UK has a small core team of employees, mainly based around London, and a larger group of associate therapists, support workers and supervisors working throughout England and in Scotland. The organisation has seen steady growth in referrals over the past few years.

Job Summary

One of the key elements of the role will be to manage a caseload of referrals from receipt of referral through to submission of funding application and referral outcome. The postholder will be one of two people within CDS UK’s core team with responsibility for this. 

There will also be an allocations management function, involving matching new (and/or existing) patients with suitable clinical staff, usually from within CDS UK’s group of associates, but sometimes via the recruitment of new practitioners.

The role will include a range of other tasks key to the successful functioning and development of CDS UK. Amongst these are maintaining a log of, and costing where appropriate, allpotential service developments (from requests for training to submissions to funders), developing reporting from basic information systems, checking and sending of patient progress reports and monitoring of patient funding. They also include developing our outgoing communications – such as via our website – and helping to explore opportunities for developing our charitable arm.

As part of our small Business and Administrative Team, the role will encompass some ad hoc administrative tasks, and may require delegation of some tasks and/or some line management duties as required.

The post-holder will work on their own initiative and independently deal with issues of workload and problem-solving, becoming a specialist in their areas of work within an agreed period, supported with appropriate training if required. This will include responsibility for analysing, interpreting and comparing a range of complex material, proactively reporting on key metrics, and helping to develop systems and procedures to serve the aims of the organisation.

Fundraising and project development:

· Lead the implementation of Bexley Mencap’s Fundraising Strategy; reviewing existing fundraising strategies, identifying opportunities for development and introducing innovative strategies to achieve fundraising goals.

The Senior PR and Press Officer will raise the voice and impact of the CIPD in media and wider communications activities in pursuit of its core purpose of championing better work and working lives

What you’ll be doing

• Managing incoming media enquiries, ensuring journalists receive a prompt and efficient response and briefing spokespeople to help turn incoming enquiries into opportunities to proactively communicate key messages.

This interim role reports to the Director of Communications, Policy and Campaigns (CPC), alongside other Assistant Directors.

The CPC team drives Shelter's campaigns for social housing and renters' rights, supporting our services and income generation efforts.

Elders Voice is a local charity serving older people in Brent. We are recruiting a CEO to lead our talented and experienced staff team through a period of change to ensure our financial security.

Elders Voice is an established and trusted charity in the heart of Kensal Green. As Senior Committees Officer, you can manage a small team to support effective member engagement through committee secretariat services. This will suit you if have managed or supervised a team. This could be an opportunity if you are looking to move into formal management.

You will have experience of managing committee governance and support to enable efficiencies in administration processes. Such efficiencies will link to development of a new CRM.

The College is a professional membership organisation dedicated to the advancement of the science and practice of pathology. There are currently approximately 12,000 members, all of whom are pathologists based in hospitals, universities and laboratories in the UK and overseas. The College’s main tasks are to set and maintain training standards for doctors and scientists, to advice on the appointment of consultant pathologists, to ensure the membership is kept up to date with current practice through the continuing professional development scheme, and to promote the latest developments in pathology by holding scientific meetings.

Acting as a strategic people partner for Guy’s & St Thomas’ Foundation, this role will drive people management initiatives, support the Foundation Strategy and the delivery of a strategic plan to achieve this. The role will have a designated internal client base to directly partner and will support the Foundation in promoting its corporate values and shaping a positive culture.

This role will establish consistency of practice with all Foundation People Business Partners and ensure delivery of a cost effective, customer-focussed service whilst continually striving for excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Business Partnering

· Develop a thorough understanding of the Foundation and the business area where you are providing support in order to provide a full people partnering service.

· Translate People strategy and agreed deliverables for your designated business areas into achievable plans and a prioritised implementation map.

· Establish effective relationships with business leads to enable you to provide valued interventions and insights on people management strategies.

· Advise directorate managers on managing people effectively including treating people fairly and professionally to ensure employee engagement and the delivery of Foundation objectives.

· Work with directorate leads to identify skills and capabilities they need to deliver current and future work, liaising with the Talent Management Hub (Learning & Development and Talent Acquisition) to manage the resourcing and talent processes.

· Partner with business area leads to develop learning and development plans for your designated directorate, and liaise with the Learning & Development Manager to identify gaps in levels of capability.

· Work with the Head of Learning & Development to introduce talent mapping initiatives and ensure that leaders and managers within designated directorates are equipped with the skills and confidence to manage effectively.

· In liaison with the People Advisor, provide regular key people metrics with analysis, narrative and ideas to encourage your designated business leads/managers to seek continuous improvements and regular review of individual and team delivery.

· Work with, and bring in, specialists across the People & Culture directorate (e.g., Learning & Development, Talent Acquisition, DEI) to respond to planned and emerging people and business objectives.

Advise, manage, and support

· Develop and maintain all Foundation policies, procedures, processes and forms required to deliver a People service capable of ensuring that the Foundation discharges its duties efficiently and effectively.

· Ensure legal compliance of all People processes and procedures, enabling best practice to be attained in providing guidance to managers and employees, and safeguarding the Foundation’s reputation in the execution of its duties.

· Ensure up to date knowledge of all employment policies and procedures and provide advice and input as required.

· Act as a point of contact for employees to discuss confidential matters or grievances.

· Partner with line managers to provide advice on employee issues, coach managers on how to manage people and resolve employee issues including via the grievance and disciplinary processes.

· Stay current on industry trends, employment law and best practice to provide guidance to managers and staff on all People, legal and compliance issues.

· Foster a positive working environment for all people working at the Foundation.

· Process monthly payroll promptly and accurately with supervision from the Senior People Business Partner.

· Contribute to the Foundation’s strategic approach to diversity equity and inclusion (DEI) and work to actively embed practices which promote DEI across the Foundation’s approach to its workforce and people processes.

· Act as a diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) champion, representing the directorate and liaising with employee networks on People related issues, policies and procedures.

Performance management

· Partner with directorate leads to drive appropriate and timely performance management and improve performance delivery.

· Manage individual review cycles for your designated directorate, sending reminders to managers when reviews are due and signposting staff and Line Managers to further support and guidance.

· Coach managers on the use of PDPs.

· Promote mandatory eLearning and ensure it is undertaken within prescribed timescales.

· Working with the People Advisor and business leads provide oversight of the 360 feedback surveys for end of year reviews for your directorate.

Employee Engagement and Organisational Development

· Take on/lead any other projects as requested by the Head of People & Culture or Chief People Officer

· Nurture a positive working environment by embedding the company culture and values in the implementation of all people related initiatives.

· Provide mentorship to junior colleagues in the People & Culture directorate and play a key role in their development.

• HR Generalist experience across a broad range of HR functions and employee lifecycle, and best practice for those.

• Managing employee relations and related processes.

The Partnership Manager role will report to the CEO and sit within the Business Development Team.

The Partnership Manager will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities in order to generate revenue, improve profitability and help the business grow. You will have a clear ability to tailor the way we sell our services to potential clients.

You will lead and support others across the company to communicate our service offering to external stakeholders that will directly contribute to the company’s growth strategy and impact.

Essential Experience

Purpose of the Role

The Digital Marketing Manager will implement and help develop a new digital marketing strategy, crucial to the ongoing development of ArtsEd’s profile and reputation and the successful delivery of all our programmes.

Understanding the needs of current and prospective students and pupils and their parents, and being able to identify digital plans and initiatives which will enable ArtsEd to meet both the long and short-term needs is a central aspect of the role.

The Digital Marketing Manager will lead in the planning and implementation of digitally creative and customer focused campaigns and will be responsible for the achievement of student and pupil recruitment targets. They will work closely with senior staff and the rest of the Marketing team to deliver highly effective experiences to all stakeholders and potential stakeholders.

The Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for the continuing development of ArtsEd’s online profile amongst all of our target audiences, including high-level industry connections, potential supporters and the local community, alongside potential students, pupils and parents.

In addition, the Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for ensuring that ArtsEd’s messaging is consistent, innovative and compelling across all platforms.

Digital Marketing

• Plan and execute digital marketing, including SEO/SEM, email, social media and display advertising campaigns in collaboration with the wider marketing team.
• Use digital marketing expertise to create effective user funnels to optimise conversion rates, tracking user behaviour in order to refine processes.

• Collaborate closely with staff across the organisation to identify storytelling opportunities to ensure a full understanding of ArtsEd’s broad range of target audiences.

• Set up digital advertising campaigns through Meta, Google Ads and other platforms

• Utilise excellent graphic design skills to collaborate with the team on the design and delivery of different digital campaigns for all stakeholder groups. This will include mass e-mails, social media posts and digital collateral as required.
• Instrument conversion points and optimize user funnels.
• Monitor social media communications (both comments on posts and direct messages) and respond in a timely and appropriate manner.

Design & Brand

• Be a guardian of the ArtsEd brand, ensuring correct and effective use of our branding and house style both internally and externally.
• Ensure all digital information is accurate, up to date and relevant.
• Ensure ArtsEd embraces and celebrates diversity and inclusion through all digital marketing touchpoints.
• Develop and manage image library including liaising with relevant staff to select images, co-ordinating in-house photography and film requirements, up-dating plasma screen and fulfilling external requests for images.
• Ensure all touchpoints communicate ArtsEd visual identity. Working with the wider Marketing team to review and implement ArtsEd brand architecture structure on digital platforms

Graphic Design

• Create print and digital advertising material using Canva or similar software.
• Design and create in-house digital signage and support the Marketing Officer where needed.
• Support the print production process, liaising with printers and publications, proof reading and adapting print collateral as required.

Recruitment

• Lead on the implementation and delivery of a robust digital marketing strategy to optimise student and pupil recruitment across the whole organisation. This will include:
• Building on existing digital activity to maximise its reach and impact against all of our target audiences, including digital and associated print advertising.
• Managing an associated  programme of recruitment focused events and activities, both virtual and face-to-face, to raise our profile and to maximise our enquires, registrations, applications and acceptances across all of our activities.
• Supporting the relevant teams in the delivery of this programme, which will include existing activity e.g. Day School and Sixth Form Open Days, degree audition days and our outreach programme.
• To programme our email marketing conversion communication using software Mailer Lite/MailChimp
• Overseeing the production of all marketing collateral.

Social Media

• Overseeing the planning and delivery of a social media plan that aligns with and enhances all strands of the marketing and communications strategy
• Create engaging and content drive social media assets.
• Oversee and a schedule the delivery of day-to-day social media content
• Work with the marketing officer to Launch as short form video content strategy for all platforms with aligns with the Marketing and organisations strategy.
• Be the expert in understanding movements regarding social networks ensuring ArtsEd has a presence and brand building content on the right platforms.
• To have responsibility for all digital advertising, including social paid adverts.

Website

• Manage through line managed staff all aspects of the ArtsEd website, ensuring that it remains relevant to all users at all times. This will include:-
• Ensuring factual content is kept up-to-date, imagery and video is regularly refreshed and that the overall site reflects ArtsEd’s unique offer.
• Identifying opportunities to create and update brand focused content
• SEO
• Analytics

Market Analysis/Planning

• Review and analysis of data to identify competitor tactics, market trends, new opportunities and challenges.
• Ability to understand different audiences and relevant content to ensure successful conversion rates and enhance the student and stakeholders experience.
• Explore  new methods for collection of data and how this can be used to improve recruitment processes
• Complete quarterly digital impact reports
• Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs).
• Implement regular surveys of students and staff, collecting quantitative and qualitative material to support marketing and communication campaigns.
• Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement.
• Shape outcome based on data.

Events

• Work with team on the planning and delivery on a programme of events, including Auditions, Open Evenings and Open Events.

The Programme Manager will be responsible for project managing a number of our services. You will have a clear focus of delivering high quality programmes that are run smoothly, efficiently, within budget, and achieve the desired outcomes and objectives for both the partners and the young people.

You will lead and support others within your team to deliver high quality programmes from initiation through to evaluation and review, that will directly contribute to the company’s growth strategy and impact.

The Programme Manager will also be a key member of the department and contribute to, departmental strategies, systems and maximising efficiency, delivering programme management to an excellent standard that produces high impact for our young people and partners.

In this role, you will work closely with the Digital Communications and Marketing, Business Development and Finance teams.
