Role Purpose

If you’ve answered yes to the above you could be our new Corporate Partnerships Manager, who will contribute to the Fundraising and Partnerships team in a new phase of innovation and strategic fundraising growth for Hatch. You will work closely with the Head of Corporate Partnerships to steward our key strategic partners and reach out to new potential partners.
At Hatch we are not limited by opportunities but by capacity. Demand for our programmes is greater than ever, from beneficiaries as well as from corporate and governmental partners. Over the past four years, we have made strides in developing our Fundraising income, pipeline and capabilities enabling us to rapidly pivot, innovate and capitalise on new funding opportunities. Our income has grown from £500k pa in 2019 to over £2m in 2023 and we’ve even been shortlisted for the Third Sector Fundraising Team of the Year 2022.
We have a strong track record in developing corporate partnerships and delivering against programmatic grants. We have multi-year partnerships with UBS, NatWest, eBay, Pizza Hut, Bloomberg and BlackRock to name a few. Working with our Head of Corporate Partnerships, we would see you building on this track record and personally taking the lead on creating and inspiring bigger, better and stronger partnerships.
You will also act as an ambassador and represent the charity externally, promoting the work of the organisation and developing productive relationships and partnerships with external stakeholders to secure greater commitment to the charity.

Responsibilities
Account Management/ Stewardship

Supporting day-to-day stewardship of Hatch’s strategic partners including Pizza Hut, UBS, BlackRock and NatWest.

Integrating closely with our Programme team to support the engagement of founders for corporate requests (e.g. founders at corporate opportunities/ supply chain/ stalls/ panels etc).

The Senior Youth and Community Worker needs to be a passionate, enthusiastic and professional. Job Title: Partnership Development Manager

The latest research suggesting that the number of children and young people at risk of hunger has rocketed to three million means that one in five children don't have enough to eat.
When a child is too hungry to learn, when they’re aching for something to eat, they can’t concentrate. They can’t absorb information. Big feelings and worries can be impossible to control. They fall behind in their studies.
Magic Breakfast provide a nutritious and filling breakfast to over 200,000 children and young people every school day. We work with schools in areas of high disadvantage, helping staff target the children most in need without barrier or stigma.

JOB INFORMATION

- Making use of multiple tactics to secure meetings with prospects including, for example, cold calling, emailing, running events, event networking and social selling on platforms like LinkedIn.
- Ensuring that risk-screening and due diligence processes have been completed in line with Magic Breakfast’s Ethical Fundraising and Due Diligence policies.
- Understanding each prospect’s strategic interests through meetings, discussions and research and defining the mutual advantage in partnership.
- Developing and delivering engaging, relevant and impactful pitches and written proposals to prospective partners.

This role reports into the Operations Manager in the High Value Operations team, which includes 8 members and supports high value activity across the Corporate, Community and Philanthropy teams.The Corporate team consists of 15 fundraisers, the Community team 52 fundraisers, and the Philanthropy team 9 fundraisers.

This is a blended role, where your work will be dual located between your home and our London office.

Responsibilities include:
Leadership, Strategy and Governance
- To be an active member of the Made in Hackney Senior Leadership Team, working together to galvanise the organisation behind our strategic plan.
- To contribute to strategic discussions on the future direction of the organisation.
- To participate and / or lead in team meetings as appropriate.
- To act as the lead staff team representative on the Strategy and Fundraising Board Sub-committee, actively contributing and working with Trustees, as well as attending Board meetings.

Fundraising and Development
- To co-design and write grant applications and secure grant funding from Trusts, Foundations or Corporate entities in line with our annual target (likely to be in the range of £400k-£500k).
- To work with the Partnerships Manager to secure Fundraising income from individual givers, major donors, Crowdfunding campaigns and other fundraising initiatives in line with our annual target (likely to be in the range of £200k).
- To develop and execute an annual fundraising strategy: building a sustainable portfolio consisting of grants and donations from individuals, corporates, trusts and foundations, to ensure long-term sustainable funding of activities.
- To research and prospect future funders.

Donor stewardship & reporting
- To retain current donors and maximise fundraising opportunities, including delivering a programme of appropriate stewardship opportunities with the core team.
- To work with the team to co-design programmes and their evaluation requirements to ensure the organisation meets the grant funders' requirements.
- To complete reporting to grant funders, including developing report templates, creating reports, case studies, and other administrative requirements.
Communications
- To input into MIH’S communications strategy and the planning and implementation of improvements to marketing plans, digital presence and social media strategy to ensure impact and fundraising successes are communicated
- To maintain a stock of impact-focused case studies and success stories and ensure fundraising successes are communicated on social media and online.

Our award winning fundraising division is currently looking for an Engagement and Stewardship Executive to join our Partnership and Philanthropy team in this newly created role for the charity.

About the opportunity
Fundraising is critical to delivering our mission and ensuring we can support as many children and young people facing disadvantage to open doors to their future. The Philanthropy Team as a whole has a combined target income for the current year (2023-24) of £1.83 million (growing to £2.35m as our target for next year), of which approximately £850k is from corporate donors and their foundations, £100k is from individuals, and the remaining from trusts and foundations. We are looking for a Fundraising Manager to work within our passionate Philanthropy Team to help grow our fundraised income and develop and maintain an effective, high-quality funding pipeline. Focussing predominantly on eliciting funding from trusts and foundations, and working closely with the Head of Philanthropy, CEO and Corporate Partnerships Manager, the Fundraising Manager will ensure the effective management of existing funder relations and take responsibility for ensuring Action Tutoring meets its reporting obligations. Since 2013, Arts Emergency has been providing 16-25 year olds in London, Greater Manchester, Merseyside and beyond with a trained mentor working in their field of interest. Mentors help Young Talent set goals, explore their passions and make decisions about higher education, training and careers. After they complete a year of mentoring, Young Talent can continue to access opportunities, advice, resources and paid work from the Arts Emergency Network until they turn 26. This position will be responsible for raising the necessary income to ensure Arts Emergency’s high-quality, person focused, asset-based services for young people are sustainably funded and can
