Identify key stakeholders within target prospect organisations and make proactive outreach to arrange prospect meetings between corporate contacts and the Head of Fundraising, to support the charity’s income growth ambitions.

About the role

We are now recruiting for a new Events & Community Executive to join the frontline of our fundraising stewardship, so strong relationship skills and a love of creating great supporter experiences are essential. A big part of the role will be project managing fundraising activities which will require a proactive approach and an eagerness to learn, as well as some experience of leading a project yourself in the past.
Examples of projects include the Walk 100 Miles in May, Cycle 300 Miles in June and 12 Dips in December, but you will work on a variety of activities with the team – sharing learnings and supporting each other to hit our shared goals. You will receive the training and support you need to succeed.

Event management and delivery
· Lead the delivery of the fundraising activities you are working on – monitoring objectives, budgets and the bigger picture to ensure that opportunities are seized and risks are minimised.

· Work with the team to create effective marketing plans and lead on their implementation to meet acquisition targets.
· Create recruitment assets which are tailored by a good understanding of our audiences.
· With the support of the team, track and analyse marketing performance to proactively suggest improvements.
Administration and database
· Oversee stock management via our fulfilment house and ensure we have high quality fundraising merchandise.

· Ensure your fundraising activities are delivered in line with fundraising law & regulations, and with PCR’s policies.

This is a part-time position with flexible working hours. Due to the nature of our community programmes and activities, the role will require some after-school, early evening, and occasional weekend working. Experience facilitating workshops, creative activities, community projects, or educational sessions is desirable but not essential. Most importantly, we are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about making a positive difference and helping people feel connected, supported, and empowered within their community.
Key Responsibilities:
Facilitate Activities: Lead and facilitate a range of group activities, including creative workshops, community events, and school-based sessions. Encourage participation and create engaging, inclusive experiences that support learning, wellbeing, and social connection.
Community Library Services: Help create and maintain a welcoming, inclusive, and accessible community library environment. Support library users by providing information, promoting services, and encouraging community engagement. Assist with the day-to-day running of library activities and services.
Community Engagement: Build positive relationships with participants, visitors, volunteers, and partner organisations. Foster a sense of belonging and encourage active involvement in community activities and projects.
Participant Support: Provide a safe, supportive, and non-judgemental environment where individuals feel valued and heard. Offer appropriate support to participants during activities and signpost to additional services where necessary.
Activity Planning & Delivery: Assist with the planning, organisation, promotion, and delivery of activities and events that align with the charity's mission and community needs. Contribute ideas for new projects, workshops, and initiatives.
Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues, volunteers, schools, and community partners to ensure activities run smoothly and effectively. Support the ongoing development and improvement of services through teamwork and shared learning.
Monitoring & Evaluation: Gather participant feedback and maintain appropriate records. Support the evaluation of activities by monitoring engagement, outcomes, and impact.
Safeguarding, Confidentiality & Data Protection: Adhere to all safeguarding policies and procedures, ensuring the welfare, dignity, and safety of all participants at all times. Maintain appropriate professional boundaries and handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality. Ensure all personal data is collected, stored, and processed in accordance with GDPR and the organisation's data protection policies.

As our Events & Office Manager, you'll lead the delivery of Movember UK's events program while ensuring our London office runs smoothly and effectively. From fundraising events and stakeholder activations to workplace experience and operations, you'll play a key role in helping us change the face of men's health.
Lead the planning and delivery of Movember UK's annual events program, including fundraising, awareness and stakeholder events.
Manage events end-to-end, from briefing and budgeting through to delivery and post-event evaluation.
Source and manage venues, suppliers, catering, AV and event logistics.
Build guest lists, coordinate invitations and ensure the right stakeholders are engaged.
Develop event timelines, run sheets and risk assessments to ensure seamless execution.
Partner with Fundraising, Marketing, Programmes and Policy teams to deliver impactful events.
Identify opportunities to enhance existing events and develop new fundraising and engagement initiatives.
Manage event budgets, track expenditure and report on outcomes.
Oversee the day-to-day running of the London office and provide leadership to the Events & Office Executive.

Experience delivering events for a range of audiences, from small stakeholder gatherings through to large-scale activations.
Experience managing office operations, facilities or workplace services.
Experience developing event plans, run sheets, risk assessments and post-event reporting.
Experience using project management tools such as Asana or similar platforms.
Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends in line with the events calendar.

Experience working within a charity, fundraising or purpose-led organisation.
Experience managing or mentoring a direct report.
Experience securing or managing event sponsorships.
