We're looking for a Community Fundraising Officer, based at our rehoming centre in Harefield, West London, to promote the work of Dogs Trust to key audience groups and deliver excellent customer care for all Dogs Trust supporters, but particularly potential and existing legacy pledgers.
What does this role do?
As Community Fundraising Officer, you’ll:
- link the rehoming centre with supporters in the local community, developing relationships with local individuals, businesses, community groups and clubs,
- feed into various income streams through these relationships, identifying prospects in the community and develop a pipeline of future donors and legacy donations,
- steward existing and potential donors, always providing them with a seamless supporter journey, ensuring they have a clear understanding of the work we do and feel motivated to support our meaningful local work,
- organise supporter events, talks and tours both onsite and externally.
- completing all administration related to donations to the centre, including thanking and banking.
Could this be you?
To be successful in this role, you’ll need some community fundraising experience, with the ability to build connections and connect with the local community. To do this, you’ll need excellent communication skills and be able to confidently approach and interact with supporters. While you’ll be a key part of the rehoming centre team, you’ll be regularly be working independently, so strong organisational skills and a proactive approach is essential.
This role is based at the rehoming centre, and the post holder will spend lots of time in the community meeting supporters. The working pattern is typically Monday and Tuesdays, but flexibility is required and is likely to involve some evening and weekend work, depending on the nature of the work.

This is a Senior Operational Management role within Family Action.
The post holder will provide both strategic and operational support to Family Action’s adult mental health services in Bolton and Wigan:
• Bolton Listening Lounge and Wigan Crisis Space: operating from 3pm to 10pm, 7 days a week. These services form part of the Greater Manchester VCSE Crisis Pathway, a non-clinical alternative to A&E offering support to people experiencing mental and emotional distress and suicidal ideation
• Sub-contracted to TOGS Mind, Family Action is a VCSE delivery partner for the 111 press 2 / Mental Health Urgent Triage team located within the Northwest Ambulance Service call centres.
Listening Lounge Services in Bolton and Wigan operate between the hours of 3pm and 10pm 7 days a week. There is an expectation that the post holder will work to a flexible rota to meet the needs of the service and to provide onsite management support. Typically, this will include at least 2 weekend days per month from 2pm to 10pm on site – one in Bolton and one in Wigan, and two evenings per month during the week from 2pm to 10pm. These to be arranged in collaboration with the Service Managers from Bolton Listening Lounge and Wigan Crisis Space.
The Operational Manager will also be a member of the North Operational Management team that reports to the Deputy Director of Services & Innovation.

Job Description
As the Marketing & Communications Officer, you will be the driving force behind the day-to-day delivery of our marketing and communications activity. Working alongside the Marketing & Communications Manager, you'll be part of a small, ambitious team that delivers high-quality marketing and communications with creativity, pace and purpose. Your primary focus will be creating engaging content, managing our digital channels and delivering campaigns that increase footfall and raise the profile of Cambridge Science Centre.
This role requires an agile, proactive generalist who enjoys turning ideas into action, taking ownership of everything from social media and web updates to print production, paid promotions and promotional events. Whilst the Marketing & Communications Manager leads longer-term strategic priorities, you'll work together to build the infrastructure that underpins a high-performing function, including asset libraries, streamlined workflows and efficient processes.
Your work will be fundamental to helping more people discover and engage repeatedly with Cambridge Science Centre. Through an audience-focused, data-informed approach, you'll promote our visitor centres in Cambridge and Wisbech, increasing footfall while creating compelling content that inspires families, schools, funders and corporate partners.
Success in this role will depend on building strong relationships across the organisation and working collaboratively with managers, engagement teams and external freelancers to bring campaigns to life. Key Responsibilities
1. Channel Management & Content Delivery
● Plan, create and schedule organic content to drive engagement on social channels, primarily Meta and LinkedIn
● Set up and monitor paid digital and social advertising campaigns, tracking growth metrics
● Keep the WordPress website up to date by refreshing copy, uploading news, and optimising pages
● Coordinate, write, and distribute email newsletters tailored to families, schools and corporate partners
● Maintain online and print placements to maximise reach and organisational awareness
● Support communications cascades, tracking and logging regional press, media and other profile-raising coverage
2. Campaign Execution & Production Coordination
● Execute advertising campaigns to maximise footfall at our Cambridge and Wisbech Centres during seasonal peaks and holidays
● Capture, edit and organise photo and video content to build media library
● Collaborate with internal delivery teams to identify opportunities that illustrate impact, working with stakeholders to form compelling content
● Design basic assets on Canva and liaise with external freelancers on advanced artwork/video
● Ensure marketing materials and content align with strategy and values, maintaining brand consistency and ensuring time and cost efficiency
● Manage the print pipeline of physical marketing assets (leaflets, banners, posters, flags etc), managing the process from design to delivery and maintaining quality and stock levels
3. Operational Infrastructure & Project Support
● Assist the Manager in researching, setting up, and rolling out processes and systems that ensure consistency and efficiency
● Organise and label media assets in compliance with necessary consent and GDPR requirements
● Provide communications and marketing support to delivery, programme, community and business support teams
Person Specification
Essential Criteria
● Experience: At least 2–3 years working in a marketing, communications, or digital content role with responsibility for advertising campaigns
● Copywriting: Excellent written communication skills, able to adapt tone across formats (website blogs, social media posts, emails) for diverse audiences
● Social Media: Hands-on experience managing social media channels with a focus on authentic, human-centric engagement
● Digital Tools: Experience running paid social media ads and executing segmented email marketing campaigns
● Platform literacy: Comfortable using WordPress (CMS) and basic design software like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite
● Data & Analytics: Familiarity with Google Analytics or social media native insights to interpret campaign performance
● Organisation: Exceptionally organised, flexible, and comfortable prioritising tasks in a fast-paced environment
● Collaboration: Proven ability to collaborate with internal colleagues, external freelancers and corporate partners

Main purpose of post
This is a new role for the marketing team at Weston Park Cancer Charity. The Communications and PR Manager will play a critical role in telling our story, championing our mission, and amplifying the voices of patients, families, clinicians and supporters.

About the Role
This is an exciting role that will support the successful growth and delivery of the Smart Works Pop Up Shops and sales, other fundraising events including the Smart Works Carol Concert and the Community Fundraising programme.

About The Role
The Centre Manager will oversee the day to day running of centre, making sure we have a safe and welcoming environment. At Single Homeless Project (SHP), our Lewisham Vulnerable Adults Accommodation Service (LVAAS) provides safe accommodation and specialist support for adults experiencing multiple disadvantage, including rough sleeping, mental ill-health, substance use, offending, street activity, antisocial behaviour and exclusion from essential services. As Team Manager, you will play a key role in helping the service remain steady, responsive and ambitious for people who may have been let down by systems before.
Working closely with the Service Manager, you will support the day to day leadership of the service, guiding frontline staff, volunteers and peer mentors to deliver support that is trauma-informed, strengths-based and focused on recovery, safety and move on. You will help maintain clear standards across safeguarding, risk, housing management, support planning, partnership working and service performance, while creating a team culture where staff feel equipped, accountable and able to do challenging work well.
This is a varied and purposeful leadership role, with space to shape practice, strengthen partnerships across the Lewisham pathway and contribute to continuous service improvement. About you:
- You bring experience of leading, supervising or coordinating staff in supported housing, homelessness, health, social care or a similarly complex frontline setting.
- You understand that people’s lives do not fit neatly into boxes, and you are confident supporting teams to work with trauma, mental ill-health, substance use, rough sleeping, offending and complex risk.
- You lead with both heart and backbone — able to support, coach and encourage staff while holding clear standards around safeguarding, housing management, recording and service delivery.
- You can stay calm and purposeful when situations escalate, helping others think clearly, respond safely and keep the person at the centre of the work.
- You know that no service can do this work alone, and you are confident building strong relationships with partners, commissioners, statutory services and community organisations to create better routes forward for clients.

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Fundraising Manager to join our team. The role will report to the Head of Marketing and Fundraising and will be responsible for developing and implementing the fundraising strategy, driving forward all aspects of fundraising, including building corporate charity of the year partnerships, individual giving, major donors,
trusts and foundations, legacies and community fundraising.
The successful candidate will be a core member of the Central Team, working closely with the Marketing Team to develop and deliver income for the charity.
This role will have budgetary responsibility to achieving a revenue target in financial year 26/27 of £1.5 million, whilst building a sustainable income stream for the long-term with Yr on Yr growth. Key priorities include increasing the Individual Giving and Regular Giving donor database, donor and fundraiser stewardship, organising fundraising events, and securing grants and sponsorships.
