About you:
You will need to have the right balance of knowledge and experience with excellent interpersonal and customer-facing skills and will be available to work at short notice. Key responsibilities of the role include but not limited to:
Administration:
- Handling general administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, photocopying, and document preparation.

Receptionist:
- Provide a professional and friendly welcome for all visitors to the building.
- Manage meeting room bookings.
- Set-up and clear-down meeting rooms.
- Receive and respond to incoming calls.
- Open and close the building at the designated times each day.
- Sort and distribute post.
- Signpost safeguarding concerns in line with the safeguarding policy.
Events Support:
- Provide administrative support and excellent customer service.
- Preparing rooms/areas for meetings and events, including the moving of equipment such as tables and chairs.
- Provide support on event day.

The Role
We are seeking a highly capable and motivated Deputy Director to lead our quality assurance work and play a central role in shaping and delivering cross-sector projects. You will oversee the management and strategic development of the Advice Quality Standard (AQS) and collaborate closely with the Director on broader organisational and policy initiatives.
You’ll represent ASA at external stakeholder meetings, manage contracts and project teams, and act as a senior leader within a small and dynamic team that is passionate about access to justice and social welfare.
Key Responsibilities

At the Guide Dogs our Access Assistants help our employees to live the life they choose by working as a driver and support worker to enable the person supported to carry out their duties efficiently and effectively. An Access Assistant does not fulfil the role for the individual but enables the person supported to carry out their role by supporting tasks to enable them to be successful in their role.
This role will include driving daily, working closely with the Habilitation Specialist. You will ideally be located within a 30-minute commute of NG9, use of vehicles will be discussed in more detail at interview. You’ll be working 22 hours per week and the majority of hours are likely to be spread across 3 days between 9am to 5pm. However, there may be some flexibility around how hours can be split, which we are happy to discuss at interview.
The Access Assistant will be confident when driving to new and unfamiliar locations and will possess strong written skills, including the ability to take accurate notes and keep clear records. They should be comfortable using basic IT tools such as email, word processing, and data entry programs. The role requires someone who can follow verbal instructions and work independently once tasks have been explained. Reliability and good time management are important, as is the physical ability to lift and carry items when needed.
Previous experience working with individuals who have physical or sensory processing access needs would be beneficial, as would familiarity with accessibility software or adapting digital and printed content. Experience supporting professional or training events may also be useful.
The successful candidate will approach their work with a calm, friendly, and respectful manner, maintaining a high level of discretion and confidentiality. They should be adaptable, open to varied tasks, and comfortable working one-to-one or in unfamiliar environments. About the role and Wen’s Climate Sisters Programme
The Climate Sisters project aims to make systemic change by amplifying underrepresented marginalised and racialised women's voices in climate justice debates and in the transition to a low-carbon economy. The 5 year project aims to engage women in Manchester and the North West through a participatory climate leadership programme. The project involves two phases. Phase One is a 10 week Feminist Climate Leadership workshop programme where groups of women collectively explore their priorities for climate justice at individual, local, regional, national and international levels. Phase Two involves participants developing creative projects to showcase the ideas and solutions from the combined cohort from the Phase One programme, working collaboratively with regular support sessions. The aim of this programme is to amplify and centre the voices of the underrepresented and marginalised women specifically in the climate arena. The approach to this will be underpinned by values that challenge patriarchy, colonialism and white supremacy, ableism and uphold care, collectivity, collaboration and non-competitive sisterhood.
The Climate Sisters Programme Manager will lead and manage this programme working closely with community partners and participants to deliver and inspire a participatory, impactful and co-produced project. The Climate Sisters Programme Manager will manage, supervise and motivate the Climate Sisters Project Coordinator.

THE ROLE
The main purpose of the role is to build a financially stable base for the work and impact of The Ivy Street Family Centre, by making full use of the income producing potential of our fabulous new centre.
You will work with our small, but wonderful and committed team of play workers to develop our range of services and increase the impact of Ivy Street in Hackney and beyond.
Title: Director of Operations
Reporting to: Ivy Street Family Centre Trustees
Salary: £32,000 (working 4 days/week) or £40,000 (5 days/week); scope for higher salary and/or annual bonus if sustainable funding targets achieved.

RESPONSIBILITIES
The Operations Director reports directly to the Trustee Board and is responsible for the following:
1. Working with the Trustees
- Overall vision and mission setting: Developing the use of the services and the building and increase the impact of Ivy Street for the benefit of the local community.
- Fundraising: Raising funds from a variety of sources to ensure the long term financial security of the charity, particularly focussing on rental income from the facility.
- Financial: Overseeing finance (with the assistance of a Trustee Treasurer) and ensuring that regular, accurate financial reports are provided to the Trustees and accurate records are kept, and providing an Annual Report for the annual accounts.
- Compliance: Ensuring that all legal requirements are met:
- Health and Safety
- HR
- Safeguarding
- All other policies and procedures including risk management.
- Community Impact: Nurturing of outside relationships with other organisations and services.
- Monitoring: Overseeing the quality and monitoring of our services.
2. Day to Day Responsibilities
- Developing and implementing a robust rental strategy to increase the use of the building for the long term financial security of Ivy Street and benefit of the local community.
- Networking with other organisations, charity partners and donors.
- Work with the staff team and trustees to develop and monitor the programme of activities and services.
- Overseeing staff and the activity programme.
- Overseeing the maintenance of the fabric of the building.
- Promoting the charity’s work with other organisations and in the local community.
- Ensuring that accurate financial and service records are kept.
- Developing and implementing a volunteer programme to support the work of the staff and provide opportunities for local people.
3. Reporting
- Attending Trustees meetings.
- Providing regular written reports to the Trustees for each trustees’ meeting.

- Ensuring that appropriate training is available to all staff and volunteers.

Summary of the Role
Wales receives less than half the UK’s per-person civil society funding, a situation worsened by COVID-19, EU funding loss, public cuts, and the cost-of-living crisis. This is having a crippling impact on community groups and charities' ability to do their critical work. Climate Cymru is action-focused, has a large reach across Welsh society and is on a mission to do something about this issue. This role leads this potentially transformative work.
The post-holder will engage directly with trusts, foundations, philanthropic funders and collaborative networks to unlock more funding for groups in Wales. They will also lead the development of innovative, practical solutions to improve how funding is distributed, particularly to grassroots, under-resourced and historically excluded communities. This includes rolling out pioneering models of shared capacity, developing a Wales-specific environmental funding database, and providing strategic guidance to groups seeking funding.
The Head of Funding Innovation will work to influence funders, reshape funding infrastructure, and build the capacity of the Climate Cymru movement to access the resources it needs. Working closely with the Head of Renewable Energy and the wider Climate Cymru team, this role will be central to ensuring that funding systems in Wales are fairer, more inclusive, and better able to meet the scale of the climate and nature crisis.
Additionally, the role involves communicating the compelling cases for investment in Wales, and working with Climate Cymru’s communication team to gather and share powerful stories to help shift narratives around Wales as a place for ambitious, high-impact funding.
Specific responsibilities for the role
Funding strategy & funder engagement
- Develop and implement a strategy to increase the volume and accessibility of trust, foundation and philanthropic funding for climate, nature and social justice work in Wales.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with UK-wide and Wales-based funders, including trusts, foundations, philanthropic networks and collaborative funding bodies.

Purpose of This Role:
This is a new, pivotal strategic role to shape future policy and practice in how faith communities support social prescribing for the benefit of local communities. Building on the emerging body of research around the connection between faith and health, this role will take the lead at a national level influencing, shaping and convening partners to unlock and unleash the significant resources of faith groups in contributing towards holistic healthcare delivered within the community.
The purpose of this role is to lead and co-ordinate NASP’s national work on social prescribing with partners across the faith sector and enable a better understanding of how to work effectively with faith communities through social prescribing, and the role that faith and belief plays in supporting good health and wellbeing. The role will work to improve accessibility of community support through social prescribing. The role would have a particular emphasis on access and health inequalities due to faith groups’ reach into deprived communities and ethnic minority communities.

As a Youth Development Lead – Enterprise, your mission is to be the driving force behind young entrepreneurs' success stories. The Enterprise programme’s aim is to support young people interested in self-employment to explore and test their ideas, write business plans and start their own businesses or achieve alternative outcomes in education, training, volunteering or work.
You'll be the guiding light for a caseload of young people, helping them successfully launch their business ideas and work towards those vital business start targets. We also won’t have you sitting still as travel will be required, exploring your local area to assist in the programme delivery of our Exploring Enterprise course as needed. The delivery can be a mix of online, in-centre or out in the community.
Crafting robust and viable business plans will be your forte. Cash flow forecasts, personal survival budgets, and sector-specific insights are all part of your toolkit. Plus, your knack for providing positive and constructive feedback will help these ideas flourish. Funding applications? You've got it covered!

Job Purpose:
To provide operational management of the Substance Misuse Through-the-Gate (SMTTG) programme, which supports Lambeth and Southwark women in custody and their transition back into the community. The Coordinator will play a key role in ensuring the service is delivered to a high standard by line managing staff, developing strong partnerships with prisons and recovery services, and fostering a culture of quality, learning, and accountability.
The post holder will also hold a caseload, working directly with women in custody to support them into community services. They will provide robust Through-the-Gate (TTG) support on release and continue to work with women in the community for up to six months to ensure a smooth transition and sustainable recovery.
Key Responsibility Areas:
- Lead the operational management of the Substance Misuse TTG programme, ensuring high-quality, trauma-responsive support for women impacted by the criminal justice system
- Manage and develop staff to foster a strong, inclusive, and reflective team culture
- Deliver direct support to women, ensuring a trauma-informed and person-centred approach
- Develop effective relationships with key stakeholders in prisons and the community to strengthen partnerships and share expertise

We’re a thriving advice organisation that is part of the national Citizens Advice network. Our services are delivered by a team of around 40 paid staff and 60 volunteers. We have a typical annual turnover of £2 million and in addition to our core advice service, funded by Wandsworth Council, we have a range of projects funded by trusts, foundations and our local Integrated Care System.
While we’re proud of the number of residents we support, we know that we can’t meet demand for advice and that marginalised communities don’t always come to established organisations for support. Because of this, we place equal value on improving reach and access through creative collaboration with equity-led organisations, partnership development and capacity building.
Why we need you
We’re recruiting a Service Manager for our Financial Resilience Navigators project and Home Visiting Team. This role will sit within our Management Team and we expect the successful candidate will divide their time roughly equally between the two projects.
As well as contributing to the leadership of the organisation, the key responsibilities of the role include:
- Leading and supporting teams of staff and volunteers, ensuring they are equipped, trained, and motivated to deliver effective, high-quality client-centred services.
- Managing and supervising support and advice projects across multiple channels (in-person, outreach, home visiting, online, telephone), ensuring services are accessible to vulnerable client groups.
- Managing relationships with commissioners and funders, ensuring we meet our contractual obligations and can demonstrate this to our funders.
- Leading in building and maintaining positive, collaborative partnerships with statutory, voluntary, and community sector agencies and teams.
- Providing direct advice and ongoing support to clients, maintaining a caseload where appropriate, particularly in complex or high-priority situations.
This role might suit applicants wwith experience of giving advice and supervising advice services, but it also offers opportunities to develop skills and knowledge around Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning, as the Financial Resilience Navigators project is a pilot that will be externally evaluated.
