Job description

New opportunity not to be missed! Centrepoint, the UK’s leading youth homelessness charity, is looking for a Digital Campaigns and Mobilisation Officer to join our Communications team based in London or Manchester. In return, you will receive a competitive salary plus excellent benefits.

This is a permanent, full time opportunity which can be based in either London or Manchester with a closing date of 30 June 2021, 12 noon. Salary is £24,693-£28,768 (depending on location and experience).

We help vulnerable young people by giving them the practical and emotional support they need to find a job and live independently.

Together with our partners, we support thousands of homeless young people each year.

The Digital Campaigns and Mobilisation Officer is an exciting new role, which will work to grow our community of online campaigners who want to work with us to end youth homelessness by 2037.

Using both creative and technical skills, the role will support Centrepoint to deliver meaningful policy change. You will have experience in email engagement, lead generation and paid social media campaigning. You will be adept at using data to inform your campaign planning and be a good copywriter.

Day-to-day you will be building online actions, developing engagement strategies, writing email campaign copy, analysing the results of existing campaigns and working across the directorate to build new engagement ideas.

This role will be based in the communication’s team but work closely with colleagues across the directorate, namely those in public affairs.

They will work across both awareness raising campaigns as part of our brand strategy, and also policy change campaigns which span across the whole directorate. In return for your efforts you’ll receive a competitive salary, excellent training and development, and a host of staff benefits including:

  • 25 days of annual leave per year, rising by one day per year to a maximum of 27 days
  • Excellent training package to ensure you have the skills and knowledge to build a new career
  • Employer pension contributions of 4%
  • Access to Cycle 2 Work loan scheme
  • An interest-free travel loan

We seek to challenge discrimination and are committed to fairness and equality within Centrepoint. We welcome applications from anyone with direct experience of being homeless or using young people's services.
