Purpose of the Role

This exciting new role is about creating connections, building ecosystems and developing and strengthening relationships that power social justice movements. As a member of the Senior Management Team, you will work closely with the CEO to lead our partnerships and community engagement work — creating the enabling conditions and networks that help youth-led movements grow, sustain, and make lasting change.

You will take lead on:

• Partnering with other funders to resource youth-led change, including co-designed and co-held programmes with other foundations.
• Developing community partnerships based on the needs and priorities of the young people we are here to serve - including charities, local businesses, and local authorities.
• Understanding the landscape of youth-led change and social justice work, identifying gaps in support and guiding our investment to help fill them, both at the national and local level.
• Monitoring and communicating the impact of our work with external audiences.
• Ensuring our work is grounded in safeguarding practices that minimise harm and uphold our commitment to care, equity and justice.

At Merseyside Domestic Violence Service (MDVS), we believe in holding systems and those causing harm accountable, not survivors. For 25 years, we have built a reputation for trauma-responsive, intersectional services that work across the whole family, from early intervention to high-risk. 

We are looking for a team manager to lead the delivery of our frontline interventions and support services across stalking, child-to-parent violence and abuse, and our flagship ANCHOR project. The successful candidate will also lead on a new Friends & Family initiative, CALL (Creating A Life Line). 

You will supervise and support a team woring across complex risk and trauma, ensuring survivors are heard, believed, and empowered to make decisions on their terms.

Our work combines grassroots engagement, specialist support, and strategic influence to build a stronger, more connected, and inclusive Somerset.

This is a key strategic role in our organisation. You will lead and manage the Somerset Diverse Communities (SDC) team. Together with your team, you will listen to community needs, promote suitable responses and convene individuals and organisations to seek community-based solutions, supporting communities to thrive together.

As part of this role you will also be responsible for managing a varied programme of ESOL courses, groups and support in schools. In addition, you will manage the delivery of our support for Open Mental Health Alliance partners to provide programmes that integrate equity, diversity, inclusion and belonging into everything they do.

About the Department

The Church of England Pensions Board provides retirement services to those who serve or work for the Church. We are now looking for a skilled Product and Partnerships Manager, to manage setting up these new future partnerships for success

Working as part of an Implementation team, this role will manage the design and stand up of innovative new partnerships to support our customers with their retirement plans This will involve working with proposed partners to finalise the 'nuts and bolts' of how new products and referral paths will work in practice, with a focus on housing and financial services partnership areas. It will also involve setting up commercial arrangements that offer value for money and prioritise a seamless customer experience. Using your expertise, you will also support our teams to make the most of and broaden existing partnerships.

Working as part of one of our programme teams, and with NCI finance, audit & risk and procurement teams:

• Quickly understand the existing partnership landscape - assessing where we need to formalise fledgling partnerships to bring new products and choices to our members, and where we need to conduct more due diligence or cultivate new opportunities.
• Build a good rapport with prospective partners, setting out a clear plan for getting from detailed design to a workable product and customer journey as quickly as possible.
• Working with partners to ensure excellent customer experience for our members, with seamless integration into other services and support offered by the Church.
• Run procurement and commercial negotiation processes to formally establish essential partnerships- likely to be a mix of invitation to tender style processes, and more innovative investment partnerships.
• Work collaboratively with internal colleagues to establish robust back-office processes to govern flow of money and data between partners and the Church, including defining and implementing feedback/reporting processes.
• Set the foundations of good partnership/supplier management, including a strong focus on quality assurance.
• Provide expertise to our team on navigating regulated markets e.g. knowing what type of questions to ask and when to seek specialist advice.
• Work with communications colleagues, to ensure that new choices supported by partners are communicated appropriately mindful of regulatory lines and the intended audience.
• Coach and support colleagues who are setting up signposting/informal partnerships with a range of housing providers, as to how to establish those relationships and ensure their success.
• Design and implement the right horizon scanning mechanisms within the team to help colleagues keep abreast of relevant developments around in financial advice, housing and related markets.
• Monitor feedback on relationships and work with partners to evolve services.

• A salary of £59,248 per annum, plus age-related pension contributions between 8-15% of salary. We will also match any pension contributions you make up to an additional 3% of your salary.

The Community and Partnerships Lead is a varied, fast-paced and creative role, ideal for someone who enjoys working as part of a team, building community, and proactively contributing to REUK’s growth and mission.

As part of the Operations Team - which empowers the effective delivery of our work with young refugees - you will need a practical, imaginative, and solutions-focused mindset, strong administrative and organisational skills, and an energetic, values-led and people-centred approach to your work.

The successful candidate will be the helpful and friendly first point of contact for all those engaging with REUK - from team members, young people and building users to supporters, partner organisations, and press. As the public relations lead and the Operation Team’s focal point, you’ll take an eager interest in the full scope and reach of REUK’s work so that you can resolve and triage enquiries, develop beneficial and positive connections, and deliver appropriate solutions and support.

You’ll play a key role in shaping the day-to-day experience of those who use The Lighthouse (REUK’s home in NW10). You will take joy in hosting people and facilitating events and will demonstrate a strong sense of ownership for ensuring that the building is a welcoming, well-functioning, and hospitable environment for staff, tenants, young people and visitors alike.

Alongside practical tasks like liaising with contractors, setting up spaces for different user groups and day-to-day troubleshooting, you’ll take a lead on business development - including by designing and implementing a marketing strategy, networking with multiple diverse communities, and managing venue bookings - to ensure that The Lighthouse is widely known and used to its full potential.

Communications Manager – Co-op Foundation  
£40,000 to £45,000 (Work Level 6B) 

Fixed-term contract to cover parental leave for until June 2026 

Remote, in this role you’ll work from home but will be required to come into our Manchester office a minimum of every 6 weeks for team days. This role will include occasional evening and weekend work. 
We’re looking for a Communications Manager to join us at the Co-op Foundation. 

The Co-op Foundation is the Co-op’s charity. We’re a grant making and campaigning organisation with a co-operative difference. We care deeply about how our funding and campaigning can shift power to young people and we trust our partners to do what matters most in their communities. 

As our Communications Manager, you’ll lead on the development and delivery of communications relating to funding programmes and learning and impact. It’ll be up to you to amplify and support the work of our funded partners, so we can expand and diversify the reach of our funding, promoting our distinctly co-operative approach to grant making so that we reach those most in need of support. You’ll have the opportunity to really get to know our partners, and help tell their story, and the amazing work that we do together.

What you’ll do 

• Develop, deliver and evaluate integrated communications plans for Foundation funding programmes 

• Lead the development, coordination, delivery and evaluation of a D,E&I workplan on behalf of the Comms team

• Collaborate with and manage delivery partners contracted to deliver comms for funding programmes 

• Produce content that brings to life the funding programmes, including videos, photoshoots, in depth case studies, blogs and more 

• Manage contracts and relationships with external agencies and delivery partners to support delivery of comms 

• Build relationships with relevant media outlets and journalists and be the main point of contact for PR relating to funding programmes 

• Work co-operatively with colleagues from the wider Comms team, Funding & Partnerships and Co-op Community & Comms teams 

• Forecast and manage the funds comms budget 

This role would suit people who have 

• Great communication skills, with the ability to write in an engaging way for different comms channels, in particular digital channels 

• Experience of working in a busy comms team in the charity sector, delivering multiple projects and campaigns at any one time 

• Experience of designing and delivering integrated comms campaigns, including internally to colleagues, with good knowledge of tools used for monitoring and evaluation 

• Experience of creating content and posting on social media channels and websites 

• Good knowledge of D,E&I (diversity, equality and inclusion) and how this applies in a communications context

Chalk Streams in the City Development Lead (Maternity Cover)

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and motivated community engagement professional to take a leading role in the Development Phase of Chalk Streams in the City, an exciting National Lottery Heritage Fund-supported initiative. This project will restore 75 km of rare urban chalk stream habitat and connect over 20,000 people with their local rivers through hands-on conservation, education, and citizen science.

As Development Lead, you will shape the Trust’s first Engagement Strategy, coordinate an extensive community consultation programme, and manage the London Volunteering and Engagement Programme. You will also oversee delivery partners and help develop a major funding application for the next phase of work. This is a strategic leadership role driving the expansion and impact of our work in developing a portfolio of sustainable housing options for people seeking sanctuary in Wales.  This role will focus on scaling our accommodation offer, positioning it as a flagship model of hospitality and welcome for people facing homelessness due to immigration status or displacement.  The Manager will support sanctuary seekers whilst managing properties and tenancies, ensuring compliance with regulations.

You will also oversee the strategic direction of our Hosting Project, forging new partnerships, and building a sustainable, volunteer-supported model of community-based housing.  The role also plays a vital role in the creation of a positive living environment for clients by implementing effective policies, addressing clients’ needs and resolving concerns.

As Community Partnerships Manager, you'll be at the forefront of our fundraising efforts, generating income from our corporate partners and supporters in our community; fuelling our essential programs and pioneering pilot initiatives. You'll be the driving force behind building strong relationships with businesses, charities and individuals, that secure vital funding and skilled volunteers for our services.

Previous experience in a community or corporate fundraising role is not essential, but you must have the ability to network productively and pitch proposals to a variety of audiences.

The Income Generation and Communications department is a small but high-performing and ambitious team, working flexibly to support the charity’s frontline services. You’ll be joining a team that will give you the support to be successful, with the autonomy to develop your own role.

From time to time, you will need to represent the charity at events, support bids for contracts, and attend networking opportunities. This will mean occasionally working evenings, weekends or on your non-working days. We’ll give you notice of when this is required, and you’ll be able to claim your time back.

This role can be office based or predominantly remote to suit you (albeit there will be times when you need to be in Billericay or elsewhere in Essex).

We’re open to negotiating the working pattern with the successful candidate, to be as flexible as possible.

In order to be successful in this role you must have:

· Full driving license. Able to drive Hamelin vehicles as well as use of own car

· Experience of writing professionally and persuasively

· Experience of working across teams and influencing other Managers

· Experience of presenting complex information for a variety of audiences

· Great communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and credibility

· Bravery to challenge the status quo and embrace a continuous improvement approach

· The ability to understand complex information and analyse data

· ICT skills such as the MS Office suite

It would be great if you had:

· Formal qualification or training in fundraising, marketing, sales, bid writing or other fundraising disciplines

· Experience of building deep and beneficial relationships with businesses

· Experience of working with individuals with a learning disability or neurodiversity

· Experience of change management and service growth
