We are seeking a Database Support Officer to join our fundraising team.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive individual to take responsibility for the delivery of several key functions within the Data Services team. You will be responsible for the importing of data into the database, providing contact data to JDRF teams to support and promote campaigns, direct mail, community engagement, major donor giving and challenge events, whilst providing database support and guidance to users, including providing training.

You’ll have knowledge of a relational database, excellent attention to detail and be skilled and comfortable in building good working relationships with colleagues and external suppliers.

We are looking for a People Operations Manager to join the National Theatre People Team.

The purpose of the role

The People Operations Manager will lead and manage the People Operations function and be responsible for the design, improvement and delivery of all people processes and experiences including transactional HR processes, on-boarding.  A key part of the role is the continued development and delivery of HR functionality of NT People, the NT’s workforce system.  You will ensure a high level of customer service and work closely with the Payroll Team.

The main task of the Institutional Funding Lead is to secure funding from UK-based institutional donors, with a primary focus on the FCDO.

You will drive forward dynamic and proactive engagement strategies directly with UK-based institutional donors and indirectly through consortia, as well as developing and supporting organisational positioning for contracts and grants.

This role will introduce innovative and agile funding approaches and models to enhance War Child UK’s competitiveness in a complex donor environment. You’ll achieve this by working closely with the War Child Alliance Foundation to research and analyse opportunities, enhance and support donor engagement plans, and drive forward engagement opportunities to maximise and secure funding.

• Develop and strengthen a network of contacts with relevant representatives from UK institutional donors and partners, primarily FCDO, institutional foundations and INGOs, to enable consortia to develop and grow.
• Identify funding needs within War Child and match them with institutional funding opportunities by engaging with country teams, the regional teams and the Alliance institutional funding coordination.

• Ensure all activities and contacts are managed through the charity’s CRM system.
• Maximise gift aid opportunities.

Campaign and Material Management

Work closely with the Communications Manager to:

Role Requirements

We are looking for the right person to join the team – this could be someone with experience or someone who is willing to learn and has a strong transferrable skill set.

You will have:

• Effective campaign copy writing and ability to translate ideas into design briefs.
•  A minimum level of skill in graphic design (e.g., InDesign, Photoshop, Canva). 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with diverse audiences in friendly and welcoming way in keeping with WONDER’s approach to empowerment. 
• A commitment to WONDER Foundation’s vision, mission and approach.

Desirable skills and experience:

•  Experience of income generation from direct marketing campaigns (acquisition and/or retention) across a variety of digital channels for acquisition and retention. 
• Experience of project management to deliver acquisition or retention campaigns within agreed timescales and budgets.
• Experience of using databases for targeting, segmentation, testing and response analysis and how to apply these learnings to future campaigns.
• Knowledge of Charity Law, Data Protection, Fundraising Code of Practice, and other relevant marketing or fundraising standards across the UK.
• Language skills in Spanish or French (key languages of our overseas partners).

Main roles & responsibilities:

You will be responsible for stakeholder engagement across Ygam’s portfolio of programmes. You will develop long lasting relationships with schools, colleges and children’s services, promoting Ygam’s work and recruiting delegates to our workshops.

You will work across the programme team, developing relationships throughout the UK, training professionals to understand the impact and risks of gaming and gambling. You will also be responsible for promoting and marketing the work of Ygam at conferences and events.

You may, on occasion be required to arrange and deliver our City & Guilds assured workshops, both online and face to face and provide support to delegates post training, updating all relevant records and CRM systems.

This project will involve engaging with diaspora communities in the UK, as well as working with financial industry stakeholders in the UK and with remittance recipients in Kenya.

This position will support IOM’s work under the direct supervision of the Programme Coordinator and the overall guidance of the Chief of Mission of IOM UK. The incumbent will be responsible for coordinating engagement with the Kenyan diaspora in the UK, liaising with relevant stakeholders (such as diaspora organisations and Kenyan decentralised authorities), and implementing project activities on the UK side. Additionally, the role involves liaising with IOM HQ in Geneva for technical expertise and IOM Kenya for overall project implementation.
