Fantastic opportunity at Age UK for an experienced direct marketing professional! Based in the Loyalty Team, this Direct Marketing Manager role will be responsible for stewarding donors by delivering excellent supporter experiences on a mass level across a number of channels. Working with a range of stakeholders, you'll bring project management skills, data fluency and a strategic mindset to design journeys which deepen Age UK's relationships with our charity audiences, growing income across cash, regular giving and in memory support.
We operate a hybrid-working model, a blend of home and office working. This role will include regular days working from our London office (EC3N 2LB) - currently once a week on a Thursday and may involve occasional travel, including some overnight stays. Travel costs to the London office are the responsibility of the postholder and are not covered by the charity.

The post holder will manage and develop youth-led community projects in which young people develop their leadership and employability skills through becoming actively involved in their community and participating in self-directed community action. The successful candidate will oversee the development and delivery of several youth-led community projects, primarily the organisation of youth-led community events, but might also include elements of other youth-led activities, such as youth action team, health champions and ambassadors.

ISEAL is hiring a Senior Policy Officer to join our team responsible for public engagement and policy influencing. This is the perfect role for someone who is keen to work in an increasingly dynamic regulatory and policy landscape to strengthen the role of voluntary sustainability tools alongside emerging mandatory measures.
The core objective of the Policy and Engagement team is to support governments, civil society and other business influencers to understand, identify and use credible sustainability systems. We do this through direct engagement with relevant government bodies in priority countries, engagement with individual businesses and business platforms and building member awareness and knowledge about relevant policy files and implications of new policies for their schemes and impact. The team focused on the UK, Switzerland, EU-wide policy and key EU members states, as well as on countries in the global south, including Colombia, Indonesia, India and Brazil.
The Senior Policy Officer will help drive engagement with policymakers in key countries in which ISEAL and its partners have a strategic policy interest, with a view to influencing the policy narrative on sustainability and specific policies. The role will identify policy engagement opportunities and provide insightful analysis of policy developments and trends. In addition, the role will work closely with ISEAL members based in these regions to combine efforts and align on policy influencing.
The ideal candidate will have had exposure to working in an international policy context, either working as part of civic society with governments or as part of a government department. A strong grounding in sustainability issues and related key political and policy debates will be essential, along with some working knowledge of key policy trends in the human rights, climate and sustainability standards space. Prior experience in working in the EU, UK at policy and regulatory landscape or public affairs level will be an advantage. The Senior Officer reports to the Director, Policy and Engagement.

- Support ISEAL´s strategic engagement with identified key policymaker targets and audiences from a policy influencing and role of voluntary tools perspective

Refugee Action exists to work with refugees and people seeking asylum who’ve survived some of the world’s worst regimes. We are a national charity with more than 40 years’ experience of empowering people who’ve survived some of the world’s worst regimes to secure the protection and support that they need to live with dignity and respect and build a new life in the UK. We do this by providing expert advice and casework, building the capacity of partner organisations and campaigning on the policies that affect them.
We are looking for a Community Engagement Coordinator to join our Campaigns and Fundraising teams. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop skills across campaigns, public affairs and community engagement.
As Community Engagement Coordinator, you will coordinate our Speakers Community project, delivering talks about refugee rights to schools, universities and groups across the UK. You will develop plans for recruiting more grassroots campaigners to our team, and deliver excellent stewardship to our campaigners and fundraisers. You will also support with the delivery of campaigning events and with our public affairs work.
Working across the Campaigns and Fundraising teams, you will be fundamental in helping us to shift the narrative around people seeking safety in the UK to create a welcoming and anti-racist society.
This role is funded by the Aziz Foundation – it is only open to someone with lived experience of forced displacement, who can demonstrate knowledge of issues affecting Muslim communities and long-term commitment to community/ societal development.
To succeed in the role, you will need to demonstrate:
- Experience delivering supporter care to campaigners or fundraisers with proven ability to communicate with volunteers, supporters and campaigners in a friendly and engaging manner
- Able to write compelling and engaging copy
- Experience in grassroots campaigning and community organising
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and provide logistical and administrative support.
- Passion and motivation to raise vital funds to support refugees and people seeking asylum in the UK.
- Effective time manager who can work well to tight deadlines.
- Excellent organisational skills to help develop and deliver campaign events.
- Ability to collaborate and work supportively and effectively within a team.

Trusts and Foundations Manager
St Martin-in-the-Fields Charity (SMITFC) is looking for a strategic, relationship-driven Trusts and Foundations Manager to help shape the future of our income generation from charitable trusts and foundations. This is a pivotal role within our Philanthropy, Trusts and Foundations Team, working to ensure that we not only maintain but significantly grow our sustainable income streams in support of people experiencing homelessness and extreme vulnerability.
Working alongside the Philanthropy Manager and Prospect Researcher, this role will be responsible for identifying and securing new 5-6 figure+ gifts, maintaining and deepening engagement with our existing funding partners and developing a pipeline of future funding opportunities designed to spread risk and build for a reliable, realistic income growth over time.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will:
- Work with the Head of Philanthropy, Trusts and Foundations (P&TF) to develop the Charity’s Trust and Foundations growth strategy ensuring it maximises sustainable net income from both general and restricted Trust and Foundation funding sources, diversifies income and starts to spread income timelines away from a reliance on our Christmas appeal period.
- Work collaboratively across the charity to acquire an excellent knowledge and understanding of SMITFC values and programmes, to inform the creation of bespoke donor materials, cases for support, funding proposals and reports.
- Lead on the creation and submission of bespoke proposals and reports to existing Trusts and Foundations, maintaining accurate development and submission deadlines and excellent records of progress and outcomes on CRM.
- Lead on the cultivation and maintenance of strong relationships with existing funders and trustees, identifying opportunities for key decision makers to become active and engaged in the Charity’s activities, whilst gaining a greater understanding of a project’s long term aims and consequent impact.
- Work in collaboration with the Prospect Researcher to develop a pipeline of new 5-6 figure + Trusts and Foundations prospects able to give within the next 3 years.
- Lead on the bespoke stewardship and engagement of newly identified 5-6 figure + Trusts and Foundations prospects and ensure that submission deadlines are met, and reporting schedules observed.
- Work with the P&TF team to deliver our annual Christmas Appeal – to include the development of the P&TF Christmas Appeal 2025, deliver the annual Christmas Appeal Launch event, and optimize the use of social medial and other platforms to reach potential new funders over the Christmas period and beyond.
- Work with the P&TF team to develop the high value offering for the 100 Anniversary appeal 2026.
- Ensure that resources and budgets are managed effectively and provide Trust and Foundation fundraising financial information as required by the Head of P&TF – including contributing to income risk assessments, identifying gaps or shifts in funding and support contingency planning with the wider P&TF team.
- Ensure accurate records of funding opportunities, donor contact details and prospect research are maintained across CRM and finance systems.
- Work collaboratively with SMITF partner charities to align stewardship, donor asks and maximise income.

The Events & Fundraising Manager will work at the heart of our public events programme, helping to organise fundraising walks and other events across London and the South East, and raising funds to support the provision of free legal advice. The grants operations and data manager is a newly created role, within Moorfields Eye Charity's grants and research team, to support, manage and develop grant funding operations. What the job involves
We’re looking for a Peer Support Senior Officer (Online Community) to join our team and help us provide high-quality support to men and their loved ones navigating prostate cancer.
The Peer Support team plays a vital role in connecting men and their loved ones to others with lived experience of prostate cancer. We do this through our One-to-One Peer Support service which matches anyone affected by prostate cancer to our trained volunteers with a similar experience and more recently our Online Community, a website-based discussion forum that provides a space for men and their loved ones to share their experiences and find support.
As a Peer Support Senior Officer (Online Community), you’ll focus on assisting the Peer Support Manager with the development and integration of our Online Community into our wider support services. Once up and running, you’ll take the lead on the day-to-day management and moderation of the community. You’ll work closely with users to understand what they need from the platform, and you’ll be key in shaping it into a safe, welcoming and supportive space where people affected by prostate cancer can connect.
You’ll also develop policies and guidelines to ensure safe and respectful interactions, recruit and support volunteer moderators, and work with other teams to share helpful news, resources and health information on the forum. You’ll use analytics and user feedback to improve the platform and support its growth, while staying informed about best practice and emerging trends in online communities.
While the strong focus of this role will be the Online Community, you’ll also help deliver our One-to-One Peer Support service, triaging enquiries, matching service users with trained peer volunteers who’ve experienced prostate cancer and help with volunteer onboarding and coordination.
What we want from you
We’re looking for someone with experience managing an online community or similar digital support service. You’ll be comfortable providing information and support to people who may be facing difficult or emotional circumstances, and you’ll understand the importance of creating a safe and inclusive space for users to connect and share.
You’ll bring a good understanding of digital engagement, knowing how to encourage community growth and participation, and you’ll be comfortable using data and insights to guide improvements. You’ll also have experience collecting and monitoring service data to help shape decisions and measure impact.
Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, are essential. You’ll know how to engage sensitively with people who have lived experience, making sure their voices are reflected in how services are developed and delivered. You’ll also be able to work collaboratively across teams, building relationships with internal colleagues and external partners, and supporting cross-functional projects.
You’ll need to be organised and able to manage a varied workload. A flexible, responsive approach is key, and experience supporting or supervising volunteers would be a plus.
While you don’t need to be a clinical expert, a basic understanding of cancer care in the UK, and an awareness of how inequalities can affect access to health and support services, will help you approach the role with the insight and sensitivity it requires.
