The Head of Corporate Partnerships will join at an incredibly exciting time for the charity and corporate partnerships programme. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Building a pipeline that reflects Magic Breakfast’s restricted and unrestricted funding needs, including Gift in Kind requirements, working with the Partnership Research Executive to research and identify prospects with potential.
- Making use of multiple tactics to secure meetings with prospects including, for example, cold calling, emailing, running events, event networking and social selling on platforms like LinkedIn.

Role Purpose

Research and Identification of Funders
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of our research projects and research funding plans, including in response to requests from Heads of Department and Senior Management Team;

- Prepare regular progress reports on fundraising and activities for SMT and the Chapter as required;

Terms and Conditions
Working Hours
The working hours shall be 35 hours per week (exclusive of meal breaks). Some out of hours working will be required to support meetings and events and this will be notified in advance. Time off in lieu will be awarded in line with Southwark Cathedral’s policy.
Annual Leave
25 days per annum as well as statutory bank holidays, with an additional 5 days (pro-rata) after 10 years service.
Probation
The appointment is subject to the satisfactory completion of a six-month probationary period.
Season Ticket Loan
Once the probationary period has been completed satisfactorily, the person appointed will be eligible to take out a season ticket loan.
Pension
The person appointed will be eligible to join a defined contributions pension scheme managed by the Church Workers Pension Fund. The Cathedral will contribute half of the annual premium of 10% of salary.

The role
The Senior Communications Officer is responsible for press liaison, pitching in case studies and news stories about our research to the national press, building relationships with our celebrity patrons and families and creating content for our social media channels. Epic is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Development Officer to grow our fundraising and development efforts. A fundraiser at heart who loves to convince and win people over.
The Development Officer will be responsible for all aspects of daily fundraising activities for Epic’s key segments of donors (high net worth individuals (HNWI) and intermediaries, entrepreneurs, corporations), including building and managing a database of new leads, outreaching and nurturing.

Key Responsibilities:
Under the supervision of the Development Director, the missions of the Development Officer are as follows:
1. Contribution to Epic’s Fundraising Strategy in the UK

Collaborative work with the UK Development Director to shape and execute the fundraising strategy, bringing forth new ideas, networks and results to ensure Epic meets its income targets
