Summary of the role:

The Global Programmes Manager provides supervision and management support to Muslim Aid Country Offices and implementing partners ensuring the efficient and effective implementation of high-quality delivery of projects and programmes in line with organizational strategy, in compliance with donor expectations, governmental and international standards.

The role is responsible for technical and management advice and support to ensure Muslim Aid Country Offices and partners are implementing, monitoring and evaluating programme activities in compliance with Muslim Aid’s strategy and budget as well as recognised international standards.

In addition, other key responsibilities include building and expanding strategic partnerships, with donors and other development partners to increase the size, scope and quality of programmes implemented by the Country Offices to reach the poorest, marginalised and underserved populations. Regular travel will be required.

About the Role:

1. Implement our strategy by supporting Country Offices and partner organisations in programme development and delivery, and in impact measurement.
2. Support Country Offices (including affiliates) to reinforce our mission, vision, values and direction through clear and articulate communications.
3. Provide technical support in organisational development for the Country Offices, ensuring appropriate technical and management skills exist to effectively implement programmes and showing improvements over time in our organisational health checks.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

1. Educated to degree level standard in international development or similar related field
2. Demonstrated experience in international development management including senior management and distance management.
3. Experience of building strong relationships at the highest levels with development partners.
4. Knowledge of SPHERE, CHS and DEC Accountability Framework priorities and other humanitarian/development
5. Excellent project management and facilitation skills.
6. Strong and well-developed analytical skills coupled with experience of writing quality proposals and reports

About the role

This is an exciting job opportunity to join a dynamic and committed team in a front-line role to support and deliver the activities and services of elop’s LGBTQ+ Children & Young People’s Service.This role offers great opportunity to work innovatively and responsively to support the genuine needs of LGBTQ+ young people.

 In this role you will have opportunity to design and deliver innovative youth group support programmes (12- 24 year olds) & other activities; provide LGBTQ+ affirmative support, guidance and mentoring on a one-to-one basis; work with our wider family work programme, support families with LGBTQ+ children and deliver work in schools to students & teaching staff.  You will have the responsibity to support volunteer mentors.

About the Department/Role

The Net Zero Carbon programme has been established to help the Church of England to deliver its commitment to reaching Net Zero Carbon by 2030. It aims to equip, resource and support all parts of the Church to reduce carbon emissions from the energy used in its buildings, schools and through work-related transport by 2030.

All parts of the Church will need to raise funds to implement this Net Zero plan. The Giving Directorate is working alongside the core Programme Team to leading on the strategy to coordinate and support the plans being developed by our dioceses, churches, cathedrals, schools, and departments to secure the funds needed and distribute grant funding to leverage further fundraising.

What you'll be doing

As Head of NZC Fundraising, you'll be the strategic lead for the Fundraising Workstream within the Net Zero Carbon Programme by overseeing the delivery of the fundraising strategy: raising funds and securing strategic partnerships; lobbying national and regional government; and leading others to fundraise collaboratively at regional, diocesan and local levels. You'll distribute substantial grant funding to parishes and dioceses through Give To Go Green to leverage community funding at a local level. You'll lead a team of national fundraisers and provide matrix management to a network of regional NZC fundraisers across the country.

Trainee Generalist Advice Caseworker

Salary NJC Scale 5 - £31,734 per annum 

Full-time – 35 hours per week

Initially Fixed Term for 12 months (with possibility of extension)

This is an exciting opportunity for a trained Gateway Assessor to be fast tracked through the full Citizens Advice Generalist Adviser training programme. Once having completed an initial four weeks training period you will be allocated to work on one of a range of different projects and services providing direct advice to the public and undertaking casework on social welfare law issues.

• You must be a trained Gateway Assessor  

• Have an understanding of the advice needs and issues of the local community in a diverse inner-city area
• Understand, empathise with and be committed to the Service’s aims, principles and equal opportunities policies

About the Role
As Policy & Advocacy Officer, you’ll be a core member of our dynamic policy team, helping to influence positive change at the heart of environmental, planning, and community policy in the UK. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives on creating and communicating impactful policy positions, can build strategic relationships, and wants to make a real difference.

You’ll work across a broad range of issues – including agriculture and land management, planning and sustainable development, wellbeing and recreation and access and engagement – supporting National Landscape teams to engage effectively in national debates and policy processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Policy research & analysis: monitor emerging policy trends, conduct research and analysis, and develop robust evidence-based positions across key topics.
• Strategic advocacy: Help design and deliver targeted advocacy strategies; draft position papers, consultation responses and policy briefs.
• Stakeholder engagement: Build and maintain trusted relationships with government officials, partner organisations and local teams.
• Communication & outreach: Translate complex issues into clear, compelling messages for internal and external audiences, contribute to communication strategies and represent the organisation at external meetings.
• Monitoring & evaluation: Track policy impact and advocacy initiative progress, providing updates and insight to the Head of Policy & Advocacy.
