Bromley Recovery and Wellbeing College (BRWC) runs a curriculum of free peer and professional-led workshops and courses across the borough of Bromley. Our aim is to enable students to achieve greater insight into their own mental wellbeing and gain skills to help them achieve personal goals, independence and self-management of their own mental health.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Bromley Recovery and Wellbeing College coordinator to join SEL Mind on a one year fixed-term basis. You will work closely with the Bromley Recovery and Wellbeing Manager to develop a high quality college offer to the residents of Bromley. The role comes with the responsibility to provide day to day support and guidance to a team of tutors and volunteer co-facilitators to ensure efficient delivery of the college.
You will have experience of working in a busy fast-paced environment. Working autonomously but also as part of a team is key, as are problem solving and excellent organisational skills. Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people is also required. You will work closely with other SEL Mind colleagues as well as our Bromley Mental Health Hub partners Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust.
Hybrid working is considered in line with our policies and needs of the service. Occasional out-of-hours work is required to support with the delivery of courses running outside of core office hours.

About the role:
You will work closely with our regional and country teams to ensure contract delivery in line with objectives, and overall compliance with donor and MAG requirements. Reporting to the Director of Programmes, you will directly support on day-to-day incident management, as well as acting as a focal point ensuring coordinated, timely, and appropriate support to programmes from other departments. You will ensure effective management oversight on business planning objectives, and on occasion on the delivery of strategic projects. You will be a senior humanitarian professional with significant experience working in an NGO with a focus on international programme management and delivery across multiple country contexts. You will be an excellent communicator, with significant experience coordinating programme delivery and support functions including human resource management, logistics and procurement, finance and compliance. You will be a strategic leader with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to negotiate and influence to drive change. You will be ready to travel internationally, including to insecure and conflict-affected areas, and have a solid understanding of geopolitical dynamics and their security impact. The role

We’re looking for a strategic, creative Head of Fundraising to lead our next phase of growth.
Your first focus will be stewarding our 3,000 fundraisers - overseeing segmented email journeys, managing a £40k prizing fund, and improving supporter care through deeper, more personal touchpoints. That might mean calls, events, or just finding ways to help people feel more connected to their impact.
Beyond that, you'll help us develop and test new income streams - from matched giving and regular giving, to sponsorships, repeat fundraising, and post-event conversion. You'll also play a key role in evolving our Challenge Events portfolio across in-person, virtual, and blended formats.
This role requires someone with a strong track record in fundraising growth, a test-and-learn mindset, and the ambition to build something big.

Team Leadership

Monitoring and Reporting
- Track and report on fundraising performance against targets.
- Provide regular updates to the Senior Leadership Team.
Qualifications and Experience
- Proven experience in a senior fundraising role.
- Proven experience working on fundraising events and event fundraising.
- Demonstrable success in developing and implementing successful fundraising strategies.
- Strong track record of securing major gifts, grant funding and/or corporate partnerships.

This role provides a great opportunity for an established fundraiser to grow our pipeline, an area that we know has huge potential for growth. You will get the opportunity to work on a variety of interesting and vital programmes of work that provide help and hope for everyone affected by dementia.
You will have either be able to build or have pre-existing (personal or professional) links to South Asian communities. The Newham Domestic and Sexual Violence Support Service is a community-based initiative offering integrated support to individuals who have experienced domestic abuse, sexual violence, forced marriage, honour-based violence, female genital mutilation, or violence related to sex work. Delivered in partnership with local agencies, the service uses approaches such as casework, Independent Domestic and Sexual Violence Advocacy (IDSVA), and Multi-Agency Risk Assessment Conferences (MARAC) to provide holistic, person-centred care. Its aim is to not only assist survivors directly but also to raise awareness within the community about domestic and sexual violence and the support available.
The role involves delivering tailored support through safety planning, risk and needs assessments, and one-to-one sessions, empowering survivors to make informed decisions and develop independent living skills. It requires working closely with multiple agencies to meet needs effectively, building strong relationships with community and statutory organisations, and contributing to good practice and policy development. Service user involvement is promoted through events, networking, fundraising, and consultations, while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to safeguarding policies at all times.

Here's what the team will be looking for
It calls for experience in working with vulnerable individuals, especially those involved in both on- and off-street sex work, along with a strong understanding of the challenges they face and the barriers to accessing services. The role requires the ability to support people who have experienced trauma, as well as excellent verbal, written, and IT skills. A good grasp of safeguarding issues and their practical application is essential, alongside knowledge of health and social care services and the legal framework relating to sex work. A valid driving licence is also required.

The service is across 4 floors, so applicants must be able to use stairs for welfare and room checks. You’ll help ensure the service meets all contract and regulatory compliance, supporting the Head of Service with monitoring and development.
The role includes:

Job Summary
Advance’s Minerva service works with women and young women and girls involved in the Criminal Justice System offering safe, targeted support and advocacy to women to help them address their complex needs in relation to the 9 pathways to offending, such as substance misuse and financial difficulties, aiming to reduce re-offending, encourage desistance amongst repeat offenders, and empower women to live safe, crime free lives.
Working as a Service User Engagement Lead you will be responsible for supporting the operational delivery of our service user engagement programme that will be a part of the Minerva service across London, including leading a team of CJS community champions and ambassadors and supporting in the oversight and delivery this programme across our 3 criminal justice services. In addition, this role requires you to build effective relationships with the criminal justice teams across London, and the regions alongside our partners and service users.
An integral part of the Service User Engagement Lead role will include delivering planned monthly supervision and ad-hoc supervision and having oversight of safeguarding and risk management for the CJS champions and ambassadors that you are working alongside. You will support the Senior Service Manager and Service Managers in delivering key information to keyworkers, in staff meetings and in day-to-day interactions to help promote the service user engagement programme.
You will lead your team and service while working collaboratively with fellow Advance managers and teams, external agencies and key stakeholders across London to provide a consistent and holistic service.
Key responsibilities and duties
- Support the recruitment, onboarding, and exit processes for champions and ambassadors including processing checks and welcome packs. Creating and supporting a positive culture of CJS Champions and ambassadors within the service
- To ensure the voice of service users is heard, valued and have influence throughout all areas of services, development design and delivery
- Supporting the CJS champions and ambassadors in post with their professional development
- Support with coproduction of projects across sites including coproduction space and service user activities, representing the views and opinions of those who access our services by leading on service user board meetings, focus groups and training sessions.
- Oversight of the welfare and wellbeing of CJS Champions and ambassadors
- Embed processes that enable you to engage with those who access our services, by listening to their views and asking for their feedback. Provide feedback and updates to those who access our services informing them of any changes and decisions.
- Work with staff and the local community to improve and develop the service, promoting our strategy
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records on champions and ambassadors and service user engagement via our internal database and spreadsheets.
- Manage invitations, bookings, and logistics for internal and external events, meetings or workshops involving CJS community champions and ambassadors
- Ensure all CJS champion and service user information is managed confidentially and in line with Data Protection regulations.
- Keep CJS champions and ambassadors training and participation records up to date.
- Support in monitoring engagement levels and preparing basic reports or summaries on Service User Involvement champions and ambassadors.
- Be responsible for your own personal learning/development and keep up to date on research, relevant legislation, policy and practice, and other literature relevant to the role.
- Participate in supervision, training and meetings as required and assist in the development of services in line with agreed development plans.

Alexandra Palace is partnering exclusively with Robertson Bell in their search for a permanent Finance Director. Alexandra Palace is one of London’s most iconic destinations. For over 150 years, it has stood as a beacon of creativity, community and culture—home to world-first innovations, unforgettable entertainment and open access to green space across 196 acres of parkland in North London.
The Finance Director is a pivotal role within Alexandra Palace, one that combines strategic leadership with hands-on financial stewardship across a uniquely diverse and high-profile organisation.
The role:
- Partner with the CEO and Leadership Team to embed financial planning into every layer of organisational strategy, balancing the organisations objectives across conservation, commercial, community and climate resilience.
- Lead the financial strategy behind Alexandra Palace’s 10-year vision, aligning restoration, growth and innovation across both charitable and commercial activities.
- Act as the senior financial advisor to the Trust, Trading Company and Board Committees - providing clear, confident insight to guide performance, accountability and investment.
- Provide strategic, visible financial leadership that positions the Finance team as a proactive partner - driving innovation, sustainability and delivery across our charitable and commercial priorities.
- Build strong, trust-based relationships between Finance and other teams to enhance collaboration and accountability.
- Drive strategic financial planning, annual budgeting, and forecasting to present a clear, data-led view of organisational health. Ensure timely, transparent financial reporting, audit readiness, and compliance that strengthens trust and accountability with the Board, auditors, and stakeholders.
- Deliver cash flow, funding structures, and investment strategy to ensure long-term sustainability. Provide rigorous oversight of grant and fundraising compliance, unlocking the full value of both restricted and unrestricted income.
- Ensure full compliance with charity, company, trust and financial regulations, acting as Company Secretary for the Trading subsidiary and overseeing all statutory filings, governance obligations and legal responsibilities.
- Oversee VAT return processes and key administrative requirements, maintaining timely reporting and keeping the CEO and Board fully informed and assured.

More than 3 million people visit each year to enjoy a dynamic mix of live events, festivals, exhibitions, learning and engagement programmes and community initiatives. Their work is supported by a blended income model - combining commercial income, public funding and philanthropic support which allows them to reinvest in their buildings, our park, and their charitable mission.
Essential criteria:
- Qualified Chartered Accountant, with at least 10 years post qualification experience (ICAEW, ACCA, CIMA, ACA)
- Extensive experience working in a financial leadership role within the Charity and Not for Profit sector
- Experience working with charity trading subsidiaries and dealing with entities singularly and as a group
- Experience of delivering Annual Reports and Accounts process end to end
- Experience implementing new financial systems and processes
- Strong leader with an authentic approach, able to build and empower a team
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present financial reports at Board level, and support non-finance manager with understanding financial information
