Job description

er Opportunity – Fundraising & Grant Writing Team

International Humanity Foundation (IHF)

The International Humanity Foundation (IHF) is a global non-profit organization dedicated to educating and empowering disadvantaged children and communities worldwide. With volunteers working across five continents, IHF promotes ethical leadership, cross-cultural collaboration, and sustainable development.

We are currently seeking experienced, professional fundraisers and grant writers to join our team.

 Role Overview

The Fundraising & Grants Team is the financial engine of IHF. Your mission is to secure the resources that fund our children's centers in Kenya, Thailand, and Indonesia — through compelling grant proposals, donor campaigns, and strategic fundraising initiatives. You turn our stories of impact into the data-driven proposals and calls to action that keep our programs running.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Grant Research & Proposal Writing: Identify funding opportunities from foundations, corporations, and government agencies; draft high-quality, persuasive grant applications with project descriptions, budgets, and impact metrics.

  • Campaign Design: Create and launch fundraising initiatives (e.g., Giving Tuesday, seasonal appeals, peer-to-peer campaigns).

  • Donor Engagement & Relations: Build and maintain relationships with donors and grant-making organizations, manage deadlines, and ensure timely follow-up and reporting.

  • Platform Management: Oversee IHF's presence on crowdfunding sites, social donation tools, and grant portals.

  • Impact Reporting: Track funded projects and draft the reports required by donors and grantors.

 Ideal Candidate:

  • Professional or advanced experience in grant writing, fundraising, marketing, or nonprofit development.

  • Exceptional written communication skills — persuasive, professional, and precise.

  • Strong research and analytical abilities, with a track record of successful proposals or campaigns.

  • Detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and comfortable navigating competitive funding cycles.

  • Background in Writing, Marketing, International Development, or Nonprofit Management preferred.

 Benefits of Volunteering with IHF:

  • Professional Portfolio Growth: Build a track record of funded proposals and successful campaigns for an international NGO.

  • Global Impact: Directly fund the education, safety, and wellbeing of children in need.

  • Strategic Networking: Engage with high-level donors, foundations, and stakeholders.

  • Certification: Receive official recognition for your role in sustaining IHF's financial health.
