We are looking for a Challenge Events Fundraiser to join our team at Scope.

As the Challenge Events Fundraiser, you will support the Challenge events team in delivering Scope’s Challenge events Fundraising strategy. This is a busy role in a small team.

The role

The role has a combination of responsibilities across product management and challenge event fundraising.

You will:

• be responsible for end-to-end management of some fundraising events and products in the portfolio.
• manage relationships with individuals, groups and organisations fundraising for Scope.
• have a stewardship focus and put our supporters first when developing supporter journeys or materials.
• provide administrative support to the team, assist in the innovation and growth of our challenge events programme as well as event logistics and stewardship.

About you

This is a busy role in a small team. So, we need someone who is comfortable juggling multiple priorities and working with many stakeholders.

You will:

• have experience in fundraising, ideally in challenge events or similar.
• have experience in developing stewardship and engagement communications.
• have a basic understanding of fundraising principles and practices, including fundraising compliance and data protection.
• have experience in managing projects to meet deadlines. Ideally within a challenge events setting.
• be creative, collaborative and organised.
• be able to work efficiently in a busy environment, deal with conflicting priorities and manage own workload.
• be passionate about supporter experience and raising funds to enable Scope to continue the work that we do.

We are recruiting for a qualified Youth Worker to join our Family and Youth Services. You will plan, deliver and evaluate youth club activities for young people and ensure that all safeguarding, regulatory and health & safety requirements are met. Key responsibilities:

• Coordinate YMCA’s detached programme – Y Bus and Street Talk including liaising with partner agencies. This includes driving our Y Bus.

• To oversee part time staff and volunteers, providing professional support and guidance.

About the role

The Homeownership Assistant will provide essential administrative and operational support to the Homeownership team, helping to ensure efficient and effective service delivery to leaseholders, shared owners, and freeholders.

The postholder will be responsible for managing key processes and correspondence related to leasehold, shared ownership and freehold management, as well as income collection, and customer engagement. This role is pivotal in helping Hastoe meet its commitments to residents and maintain positive relationships.

Duties will include:

• Provide comprehensive administrative support for homeownership services, including managing documentation, coordinating with stakeholders, maintaining accurate records, handling customer queries, and assisting in policy development.
• Handle service charge-related queries and collaborate with finance teams to prepare accurate service charge estimates and actuals.
• Manage the recovery of rent, service charges, and arrears from leaseholders and shared owners, including setting up payment plans, handling legal action when necessary, and providing regular debt reporting.
• Support legal and complex homeownership matters by processing legal notices, assisting with consultations and disputes, maintaining accurate records, and staying informed on relevant housing legislation.
• Deliver high-quality customer service by effectively handling queries, attending resident meetings, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure a smooth and responsive experience for homeowners.
• Support with Section 20 consultations for major works, ensuring adherence to legal frameworks.

About you

You will need to have proven experience in housing management administration, particularly in working with leaseholders and shared ownership leases. The role requires excellent written and verbal communication skills, a strong commitment to delivering high standards, and the ability to stay well organised, meet tight deadlines, and effectively juggle multiple tasks at once.

You will also need:

• A minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics.
• Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to resolving issues.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• To be flexible and adaptable to change, with a willingness to learn and develop in the role.
• Where this isn’t already held, to be willing to study for a professional qualification in housing, property management, or a related field (e.g., CIH membership).

As our Director of Mass-Market Fundraising for AIUK you will be a successful senior mass-market fundraising leader, who will lead our mass-market fundraising directorate to significantly improve mass-market fundraising performance and delivery here in the UK, and so strengthen AIUK’s ability to defend human rights in an even more challenging world.

Experience of employment support is not essential, it is more important that you share our passion and commitment to supporting people to find the right job for them. You will receive training around employment support and in supporting people with mental health issues.  As this is a Peer role applicants must have lived experience of mental health, either personally or through a close contact. 

You need to have a desire to support people to achieve their employment goals, and the ability to multitask and manage your workload effectively. You must be willing to share your experience of mental health and employment to support clients to address their concerns about employment and to support them to develop strategies to support them sustaining work.  Good organisation skills are essential for this role, in addition to an interest in mental health, and the role it plays in the workplace.  Experience of pre-employment support such as CV and application writing, and interview practice is desirable.

The role we are recruiting for is as follows: 

One Full Time: 35 hours per week - we offer flexible working which for this role is three days on site in our office in Bethnal Green and two days working from home.

You will work with clients (managing a caseload) who have mental health support needs, to assist them in securing sustainable paid employment in line with their preferences, to access training, education and volunteering opportunities. You will use a client led/person centred support approach.

Special Events Coordinator (Fundraising)

The role

The special events coordinator will report to the special events manager.

We have a great opportunity for an experienced and proactive special events coordinator to join our dynamic philanthropy & campaign team at the Royal Free Charity. This is a role for someone with proven experience of delivering high-quality events end to end - someone who thrives on the detail, keeps things running like clockwork and brings creativity and poise under pressure.

You will be instrumental in delivering bespoke, high-value experiences such as private dinners, small group tours, donor visits and our flagship annual event, The Marsden Lecture. You will work closely with internal teams and senior stakeholders, so diplomacy, adaptability and strong interpersonal skills are essential. Principal responsibilities

Event planning and coordination

· Develop event concepts and themes, create detailed event plans and coordinate all logistical aspects of events of events falling within the remit of this role.

Stewardship events

· Plan and manage events to acknowledge and appreciate donors, facilitating their continued support and engagement with the charity.

Engagement activities

· Organise and execute events that foster engagement and increase awareness of the charity's mission and goals.  

Supporting the new cancer campaign

· Prepare for campaign events in support of a £50m campaign for a ground-breaking cancer centre on the Royal Free Hospital site.

Vendor management

· Whether on-site at one of our hospitals or at an external venue, take responsibility for sourcing, negotiating and managing relationships with vendors, including caterers, suppliers and on-site partners.

Budget management

· Create and manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions while maintaining high-quality standards.  

Communications and promotion

· Collaborate with the communications team to develop promotional materials and strategies to maximise event attendance and engagement.  

RSVP management

· Managing the RSVP mailbox, ensuring timely and accurate responses to event invitations and queries.

Database management

· Maintain and update event-related databases, ensuring accurate records of participants, donors and sponsors.  

Relationship management

· Act as the main point of contact for colleagues, donors and contractors, ensuring their needs and expectations are met throughout the event planning and delivery process.

Portfolio manager support

· Assist portfolio managers in engaging with prospects and donors effectively, providing event-related insights and facilitating meaningful connections.  

On-site coordination

· Oversee event setup, execution, and breakdown, ensuring all elements are in place and events run smoothly.  

Post-event evaluation

· Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement.  

Oversight and responsibility

· Manage risk assessment, risk management and first aid training to ensure the safety and well-being of all event participants.

Qualifications

· Proven track record in developing and managing events on time and ensuring they are in line with budget (managed             by the special events manager), achieving key performance indicators and receiving positive feedback from                 guests.

· Evidence of outstanding planning skills to deliver complex projects.

Desirable 

· Experience of leading on the creation and implementation of innovative events that are tailored towards a specific        audience’s interests.

Skills and knowledge

Essential 

· A keen interest in the fundraising sector, with a desire to learn and grow in the role.

The team

Our dynamic fundraising department generated £4.5m through donations in 2023/24, and we are now preparing for an ambitious multi-million-pound campaign in support of a ground-breaking cancer centre on the site of the Royal Free Hospital.

Responsible for attracting and retaining donors, and delivering an outstanding supporter experience, the fundraising department comprises two teams which work closely together to achieve our shared objectives:

Impact and Insights Officer

This is an exciting opportunity to be an impact catalyst across two Youth Zone locations (Carlisle and London).

We are looking for someone who can generate support and build towards a ‘culture of impact’ in both Youth Zones, so that outcome measurement and impact reporting becomes routine and ‘every day’. 

This is a hybrid working role, with 8 onsite days per month at the Carlisle and London sites, with the remainder working from home.

Position: Impact and Insights Officer

Location: Hybrid (8 days per month across the 2 Youth Zones in Carlisle and Barnet)

Salary: £38,000 – 42,000 per annum (dependent upon experience) plus travel expenses

Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours/week)

Contract: Fixed term contract – 2 years (due to project funding)

About the Role

You will collaborate closely with a cross section of teams within the Youth Zones, working with the Youth Work delivery teams to feed data into decision making, and with the Communications and Fundraising teams to provide impact measurement and analysis content for use with stakeholders and in donor reporting. Furthermore, it will align impact and data work with national and local policy, and use national census, health, police and other statistical data to position the four Youth Zones for new income generation opportunities.

Main responsibilities include:

• Measuring and demonstrating the charities’ impact to stakeholders
• Authoring and providing the necessary data to the leadership and fundraising teams and Board (as required)
• Annual publications such as Trustees Reports and annual Impact Reports.
• Lead on data analysis and reporting on the data held in Salesforce CRM, improving both the quality and quantity of monitoring and evaluation processes
• Driving improvements in data capture through training and upskilling the Youth Work team
• Strengthening the ability of the two Youth Zones to demonstrate the measurable impact of youth work delivered.

Innovation is a key aspect of this role, involving the introduction and embedding of new methodologies to enhance the qualitative data capture process.

About You

This role is ideal for someone who has the ability to bring technical analysis to life in a youth work setting and can communicate insights in an accessible style to different audiences. The Impact and Insights Officer should be passionate about embracing the power of youth work and be keen to support Youth Zones in evidencing the impact created with young people. About the role

This is a new role created at IRMO to strengthen how we measure, understand and communicate our impact. It sits at the heart of a learning-focused, community-led organisation working for migrant rights and social justice. We are open to hiring at either Officer or Lead level, depending on the experience and skills of the successful candidate.
