The important stuff

Hours: Monday - Friday, 9.30am - 5.30pm with some out-of-hours work needed for events such as our Spear Celebrations

In this role, you’ll be responsible for:
Strategy, vision and impact [25%]
- Be at the forefront of leading Resurgo’s ‘big picture’ vision of a transformed society, empowering churches to transform young lives
- Build and implement a strategy for developing relationships with local referral agencies to ensure effective recruitment of young people onto the Spear programme
- Oversee the reporting of the Centre outcomes and ensure the Spear Programme is delivered in line with agreed targets
Leadership, line management and training [25%]
- Lead your team with confidence; spurring them on in Resurgo’s mission; invest in a team culture of excellence, belonging and fun
- Manage and develop the Lead Coach and Graduate Coach, using a coaching approach to invest in their growth and development. This includes weekly 1:1s, performance reviews and regular feedback
- Equip your team to drive change through a data informed approach, and keep them accountable to agreed targets for the Spear Programme
Relationship management [20%]
- Manage great relationships with a variety of stakeholders, including referrers, local businesses, donors, and your Board of Trustees
- Embed into your local church; working closely with your Spear Trustees and congregation, and actively participating in their mission and events
- Partner with the Spear Trustees and assist in implementing their funding strategy by helping to build corporate and donor relationships. For example, by hosting prospective donors in the Training Room
Delivery of the Spear Programme [20%]
- Support group and 1-1 coaching with numerous 16-24-year-olds: equipping them with practical work-ready skills and resilient mindsets
- Provide guidance to the Lead Coach in the training room when dealing with behavioural and safeguarding situations and upskill coaches with consistent coaching feedback
- Use a coaching approach to engage young people in challenging conversations that will enable them to take responsibility and over significant barriers to employment
Operations [10%]
- Liaise with relevant staff regarding site operations and work to resolve any issues as soon as possible, ensuring the office and training room are safe and tidy working spaces in line with health and safety policies

- Proven experience of working in the charity sector with a good understanding of governance requirements and the challenges facing the sector.

- Ability to be self-motivated, with good personal organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to resolve problems in a logical, proactive, practical and positive manner
- Ability to take initiative with a practical, ‘hands on’ approach to work

About the role
As the Area Service Manager, you will be accountable for ensuring our contracts with partners and/or commissioners deliver to the highest standards, in a way that creates maximum impact.

This service is delivered through a mixture of channels including telephone, digital, face-to-face and hybrid working.
The ideal candidate will have an in-depth knowledge of the issues faced by refugees, asylum seekers and migrants at risk (including EU migrants). The post holder will have a good understanding of the challenges faced by homeless migrants with NRPF and will be able to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a range of stakeholders.

We’re a thriving advice organisation that is part of the national Citizens Advice network. We provide information, advice and casework support to around 10,000 people a year. Our services are delivered by a team of around 40 paid staff and 60 volunteers. Supported by existing project funding and a long-term grant from the Access to Justice Foundation, we’re looking for two people to join our Senior Management Team and help lead the next phase of our innovative and award-winning development work. - Embed changes to our core service that make it more accessible and responsive to those communities.

With a focus on operational compliance and core delivery, the Head of Core Service role would suit applicants with a strong track record of managing advice services, ideally within the Citizens Advice network. Ways of Working:

The Social Media Manager is an integral role within the Marketing team at CoppaFeel! and will play an essential part in supporting our 3-year organisational growth strategy. The Social Media Manager needs to be social obsessed with a keen eye for new and emerging trends that will ensure CoppaFeel!’s social channels organically reach our 18 - 24 year old target audience.
In this role you’ll work with our Senior Social Media Manager to execute and manage the delivery of our social media strategy. You will be responsible for our social media content creation, ensuring we stay on top of emerging trends and that our health messaging is delivered in an accurate way. You will work collaboratively with the wider Marketing, Fundraising, Operations and Education teams within the organisation.
The right candidate will be proactive, creative and organised, as well as being fully immersed in youth culture and digital trends. Ultimately you will have a real desire to make a difference, ensuring that all breast cancers are diagnosed early.
About CoppaFeel!
CoppaFeel! is the UK’s only breast cancer charity awareness charity for young people. Our mission is to ensure all breast cancers are diagnosed early and accurately by educating young people on the signs and symptoms of breast cancer, encouraging them to check and empowering them to speak to their GP if they notice something unusual.
Key Responsibilities
- As the heartbeat of our social channels, you’ll ensure that we’re agile and reactive to emerging trends. You’ll be creating engaging content both in and out of the office, engaging with our target audience.
- Responsible for the scheduling and production of content across our social media channels.
- Create social media content that reflects CoppaFeel!’s brand guidelines and tone of voice.
- Ensure monthly analytics and reporting that can be used to inform the social strategy and make recommendations for optimising content by channel and audience.
- Deliver best in class community management, engaging with CoppaFeel!’s audience and encouraging interaction.
- Monitor, respond and report back on feedback, comments and queries in a timely manner.
- Build relationships with new and existing supporters, content creators and media contacts.
- Work alongside Education and Fundraising teams to promote awareness and fundraising activities with our online communities.
- Work with the Education team to mobilise UBT and CoppaChallenge participants across social channels to maximise peer-to-peer reach.
- Stay up to date with industry news, to enable us to be innovative and promote the growth of our channels.
- Work with young people to ensure that our social channels are the product of co-creation.
Skills, Knowledge, and Personal Attributes
- Social media obsessed, with finger on the pulse for all new and emerging trends.
- Evident understanding of 18 - 24 year old target audience.
- Evidence of inspiring creativity.
- High degree of professional and personal familiarity with Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, YouTube etc.
- Expert in creating native content in apps ahead or in line with trends.
- Strong copywriting skills.
- Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively.
- Experience with social media management software (i.e. Sprout Social).
- Photography skills and use of DSLR camera.
- Proficient in design software including Adobe Creative Suite and Canva with an aptitude for visual design.

You’ll provide high quality admin support to the East of England team, coordinate, plan and prep key meetings, and provide first point contact for both internal and external stakeholders, including working co-productively with people living with Parkinson’s.
As members of the Community Directorate we aim to reach out to and support people with Parkinson’s, their families, friends and carers. We enable the voice of people affected by Parkinson’s to be heard to improve services, inform our priorities and improve decision making locally.
Through community development we work in close collaboration with our respective Parkinson’s communities to bring change on the issues that matter most to people affected by Parkinson’s.
What you’ll do:
- Organise online and in-person, internal and external meetings and other events, including booking venues and refreshments, assisting with the production of materials, liaising with participants and speakers, fulfilling mailings and taking bookings as required.
- Keep up to date with the directorate’s activities in order to provide clear, accurate information, and support the process of business performance and impact reporting.
- Respond to general enquiries in a timely and friendly fashion, ensuring needs are met, and participate in working groups, meetings, local events or activities as required.
- Maintain digital records on the charity’s data platforms.
What you’ll bring:
- Excellent administration skills, including note-taking, presentation preparation and a positive, assertive and resilient approach to prioritising and juggling varying pressures and conflicting priorities.
- Experience in coordinating multiple projects simultaneously that meet the business requirements.

The Ripple Pond is a charity that supports adult family members of physically and/or psychologically injured British Armed Forces personnel and veterans. Many of these individuals and family members are hard to reach and often isolated.
Your role will be to ensure that more and more of the military community, professionals and other interested parties know who we are and how to access our support.
You will also help to organise our exciting programme of online talks and activities for our Members (service-users) to help ensure they are well-informed, involved and feel part of a supportive community. Making sure that Members are always involved in generating ideas and production.
We are looking for someone who is dynamic and determined, but you also need to be invested in our mission as a charity and care about people.
This role is about;
• working with a wide range of groups and individuals to help raise awareness of the charity and to create opportunities to identify new Members (service users);
• being responsible for networking, identifying, and establishing partnerships with key individuals and organisations and nurturing existing relationships;
• developing and rolling out strategies to engage with hard-to-reach and isolated military carers and families;
• coordinating a range of activities (mainly online) to deliver information to Members, potential Members, referrers, and other stakeholders. These will include online talks from staff, Members and other “subject matter experts”; and
• helping to ensure the charity continues to understand the developing needs of its Members.
Although the role is home-based, you will not be working in isolation; you will be supported by the managers and workforce.
All our staff are home-based, and we maintain a strong caring culture of teamwork, mutual support and promoting wellbeing at work.
You may be exposed to traumatic narratives from our Membership, for many this is a reality in their lives. We do provide an extensive framework of clinical and managerial support but you do need to be an emotionally and psychologically resilient individual.
