About the Role

As a Housing and Support Assistant, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality housing and support services to our residents. You will often be the first point of contact for residents and visitors, responding to a wide range of enquiries and offering clear, holistic, and informed guidance.

The Role

This is a pivotal role within our Communications Team that will lead, own, and grow our organic social presence across multiple platforms. You will be responsible for maintaining, planning, developing, and executing social media content across multiple social media accounts. Reporting into the PR and Media Manager, you will work in collaboration with the Head of Comms, and wider comms team, as well a range of stakeholders across the organisation and at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. 

The person will: 

• Develop and deliver a social media strategy to reach and grow key audiences and articulate the impact of our work.
• Manage all our social media accounts ensuring content is targeted and platform-specific and our analysis and tracking of analytics is effective.
• Plan, manage, and optimise the social content calendar, balancing evergreen content, campaigns, and reactive opportunities.
• Working with colleagues in comms and marketing, design and create tailored and tactical digital content for our social media accounts. This will include a range of media including video, photography and image-led content.
• Working with key departments such as fundraising, to plan and promote campaign work, with social media as part of the overall communications mix.
• Working closely with the PR & media manager to maximise press coverage through owned channels.
• Timely and effective responses to audience posts and comments, including signposting to other departments as appropriate.
• Working with external digital agencies and creators to deliver social media led campaigns, and feed into campaigns and strategies.
• Promote a digital culture within the Charity including training colleagues on social media and production of content as required.
• Planning, managing, and optimising paid social campaigns.
• Keeping up with trends and changes and identifying potential opportunities on new and emerging platforms.

The successful candidate will have:

• Experience of developing and managing social media content strategies with the aim of increasing brand awareness, engagement, and donor conversions.
• Experience of data driven marketing, with experience reporting on and benchmarking performance.
• Experience of capturing and writing compelling stories and personal testimonies to demonstrate impact.
• Previous experience of using Canva, Photoshop or other design platforms.
• Excellent communication and copy writing skills.
• Be familiar with video capture and editing techniques and briefing third party suppliers.
• Ability to plan and manage busy and competing workloads.
• Ability to work on own initiative and autonomously as needed. 
• Willingness to work out of business hours on occasion, including some evenings and weekends.

We are seeking an experienced Property and Facilities Manager to ensure the Cathedral and its associated properties are safe, well-maintained, and operating efficiently in line with our strategic objectives.

Background

​​Guildford Cathedral is a sacred space and a community of people who engage with God and the wider world for the common good.  We do this by being a warm-hearted community open to God, to all, to growth and to transformation.  Over 100,000 visitors come to the Cathedral each year and our Cathedral ‘community’ comprises thousands who feel close the Cathedral because of historical connection, the purchase of a brick in the 1950s, their membership of the worshipping congregations or staff and volunteers.

Reporting to:Chief Operating Officer.

Accountable to:The Chapter of Guildford Cathedral.

Hours and salary:Part time – 0.5 FTE/18 hours per week (flexibility is essential for this role). The salary for the post is £18,720 p/a.​

What You'll Do:​​

​In this key role, you will take ownership of all aspects of property management and facilities services, including long-term planning, compliance, and cost control. You will oversee maintenance programmes, manage budgets and contracts, and ensure high standards of health and safety across the estate.

This is a hands-on position that will involve, at times, physical activity, including accessing all areas of the Cathedral and other buildings, which may involve navigating numerous stairs and confined spaces.​

Some of the Key Responsibilities of the role:​

• Maintenance Management: Oversee planned and reactive maintenance across Cathedral properties, ensuring timely completion and accurate reporting.
• Health & Safety Compliance: Apply and maintain the Cathedral’s Health & Safety Policy, promoting safe working practices and compliance with legislation.
• Facilities Oversight: Supervise all maintenance work relating to the interior and exterior condition, manage car parking facilities and monitor and review maintenance equipment, ensuring safe and efficient operation.
• Financial and Procurement: Manage delegated budgets and contribute to annual budget planning. Oversee procurement processes including annual reviews of maintenance and service contracts to ensure best value.

The Senior Fundraising & Grants Manager will lead the development and delivery of Bite Back's fundraising strategy with a primary focus on trusts, foundations and institutional grants. You’ll oversee the organisation’s grants pipeline, coordinate funding applications and reports, and ensure excellent standards of funder stewardship and compliance. You’ll also play a role in developing early-stage public fundraising activities to diversify income and support the long-term sustainability of Bite Back’s youth-led mission.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Senior Fundraising and Grants Manager is accountable for:

Fundraising Strategy & Planning

• Design, deliver and monitor a values-aligned fundraising strategy, with a primary focus on trusts and foundations.

• Set annual income targets, track progress against goals, and report performance to senior leadership and trustees.

• Identify new income opportunities to support Bite Back’s strategic growth and impact.

• Develop and maintain a 12–24 month grant pipeline to forecast income and manage funding cycles.

• Ensure all fundraising activity complies with the Code of Fundraising Practice, GDPR, and Bite Back’s ethical standards.

Grants from Trusts and Foundations

• Lead the processes for securing income from trusts, foundations and institutional funders, from prospect research through to submission, reporting and renewal.

• Research, identify and prioritise funding opportunities aligned with Bite Back’s youth-led mission and programmes. Collaborate with internal teams to conduct due diligence to ensure funding sources are aligned with our values.

• Prepare and submit high-quality, evidence-led, and compelling grant proposals in collaboration with the CEO, Director of Finance & Operations, Monitoring & Evaluation Manager, and programme leads.

• Coordinate grant management and tracking: maintain accurate records of deadlines, deliverables, and reporting requirements.

• Work with the finance team to develop accurate project budgets and ensure financial reporting meets funder expectations and our operational needs.

• Produce and submit clear, engaging progress reports to funders that highlight impact, learning, and youth voices.

• Monitor grant income and expenditure, ensuring compliance and timely claims against restricted funding.

• Work with the Operations and Contracts Manager and the Monitoring and Evaluation Manager to develop and improve systems for grant tracking and data integrity within the CRM (Salesforce).

Donor Stewardship and Relationship Management

• Work closely with the CEO to build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential funders, ensuring high-quality engagement and stewardship.

• Coordinate communications, updates, and thank-you processes for donors to encourage repeat and multi-year funding.

• Lead workstreams, working closely with the Brand Manager and leadership team for support, in order to deliver meetings, presentations, and reports to funders.

• Represent Bite Back at relevant events, funder briefings, and networking opportunities.

• Promote a culture of fundraising awareness and collaboration across the organisation.

Fundraising Development

• Work with the Communications and Operations teams to explore and pilot small-scale public fundraising initiatives (e.g. individual giving, online campaigns, web donation tool).

• Work with the CEO and Communications team to develop a new strategy to build a strong and committed donor network of high net worth individuals aligned with Bite Back’s values

• Develop systems, messaging, and supporter journeys that reflect Bite Back’s youth-led identity.

• Explore opportunities for revenue from the public sector.

• Test new public fundraising channels and evaluate their return on investment to inform future strategy.

Other

• Champion Bite Back’s values - Fresh, Resilient, Respectful, Energetic, and Real - in all fundraising work.

• Collaborate with the youth activism, communications, and policy teams to translate programme outcomes into fundable opportunities and compelling narratives.

• Stay informed about trends in the fundraising and grant-making sectors and share learning across the team.

The Role

You will have experience of delivering against financial targets, along with the ability to translate complex information into a compelling ask in both verbal and written form. As a Charitable Funding Manager in DARO, you will be innovative, self-motivated, and take ownership of fundraising opportunities in this area. This exciting role involves working in a busy and fast paced fundraising team, with a focus on Supporter Services, but also supporting the Individual Giving and Events team. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring supporters receive exceptional service, processing donations accurately and maintaining data integrity. You will also help the Individual Giving and Events team with creating email journeys for supporters.

What will you do?

This newly formed leadership role will manage the financial operations across specific subsidiaries of Oasis. It will ensure financial accuracy, sustainability, regulatory compliance, and the delivery of timely financial information to support decision-making across the group.

To be successful in this role, applicants will require:

· A recognised professional accounting qualification or part-qualification, together with a thorough practical understanding of financial and management accounting principles and techniques.

· Advanced working knowledge/experience of Excel and computerised accounting systems (preferably PS Financials) with the ability to interpret and extract relevant financial information.

· Ability to communicate complex financial information to a wide audience with varying financial backgrounds, both internally and externally

Life is a UK charity for vulnerable women and families facing unexpected pregnancy or pregnancy loss. We’re seeking a Senior Volunteer Coordinator to maintain and develop our remote services from our office in Nottingham. 

You will be an excellent communicator, as well as a practical, well organised and hardworking individual, preferably with experience in the voluntary sector or equivalent transferable experience.

Reporting to the Head of Service Delivery, you will be responsible for recruiting, training and supporting volunteers to deliver a service to Litigants in Person, facilitating day-to-day operations, and building and sustaining relationships with key contacts at our partner university and the national court service, as well as providing line management to our Volunteer Support Coordinator.

For homeless people, or those at risk of homelessness, finding employment and housing opportunities can feel like an uphill battle, even more so if they’re affected by physical, mental health or substance misuse issues. Providence Row works with those affected by homelessness and those vulnerably housed in London, offering an integrated service of crisis support, advice and progression programmes. We ensure that people often excluded from mainstream services gain the support and opportunities they need to create a safe, healthy and sustainable life away from the streets.

Through our Reset Outreach & Referral Service (RORS), we support people in Tower Hamlets affected by drugs and alcohol. Our team takes a harm-reduction approach: meeting people where they are, reducing stigma, and helping them access treatment, health services, and wider community support.

This role is an opportunity to make a real difference—whether you bring experience from substance use services or transferable skills and a passion for supporting people.

The ideal candidate

To be considered for this role, you should be able to:

• Provide outreach and in-reach support to people affected by substance use across Tower Hamlets, including those who may have a history of rough sleeping, be vulnerably housed, or otherwise disconnected from mainstream services.

• Carry out person-centred assessments and work collaboratively with service users to develop support and recovery plans.

• Make timely and appropriate referrals to specialist services (e.g. treatment, health, housing, and social care) to ensure holistic support.

• Develop strong working relationships with partner agencies to coordinate joint support and reduce barriers to engagement.

• Promote harm reduction and recovery-focused approaches, ensuring that people are empowered in their choices.

• Maintain accurate records and contribute to monitoring and evaluation of the Reset service.

Our Supported Accommodation and Emergency Accommodation Service is funded to provide support to those with multiple and complex needs who are experiencing, or at risk of experiencing homelessness, located in close proximity within Gateshead:

• Two supported housing sites; one 8 bed, one 6 bed, both staffed 24 hours.

• Six self-contained properties forming the emergency accommodation element of the service.

We are seeking a Night Support Worker for the Supported Accommodation element of this service.

Our properties are places of safety, Psychologically Informed Environments (PIE), from which we work with individuals. We aim to provide accommodation and support that helps people find self-worth and the belief that they deserve a better future, before moving them on safely and successfully, therefore reducing homelessness and the on-going risk of homelessness. 

To join us you will need to demonstrate an understanding of the complexity of needs related to homelessness, especially mental ill-health, alcohol and substance misuse and offending. You will be able to lone work effectively, working calmly under pressure, with excellent inter-personal skills, including de-escalation and the ability to effectively and professionally communicate. You will be able to use your initiative, and work flexibly in a demanding environment, and be able to manage the safety, security and support of people living in the service overnight.
