Person Specification 

• A practising Christian who is passionate about personally representing the Christian values of Resurgo and committed to Resurgo's mission to inspire and equip organisation to bring about ambitious and sustainable social change.
• Excellent relationship building and application writing skills. Experience in Trust fundraising or an equivalent field is desirable but not essential.
• Some knowledge of statutory fundraising is desirable but not essential.
• Extremely organised and efficient; calm under pressure, able to juggle competing deadlines and priorities, splitting time across multiple projects.
• Excellent people skills, able to relate well to colleagues of all seniority levels, freelancers, and external agencies.
• A desire to grow and develop; able to receive feedback on projects with humility, and confidence to give feedback and share ideas and expertise with team members.

Key Responsibilities

Relationship Management

• Provide tailored, high-quality stewardship to a range of large and medium-sized Trusts & Foundations.
• Identify and pursue new funding opportunities and build relationships with new Trusts and Foundations to further grow this income stream.
• Prioritise research to constantly develop future pipeline.
• Work with Head of Philanthropy and other senior stakeholders in engaging potential funders and managing strategic Trusts & Statutory partners.

Write applications and reports

• Develop compelling funding applications for Trusts and occasionally statutory funders, articulating Resurgo's vision and strategy to persuasively engage new donors with a focus on raising five and six-figure grants.
• Stay ahead of sector trends, media, and political context to market Resurgo's interventions in a compelling way.
• Develop general communications on the work of Resurgo to inspire and update our Trust audience.
• Produce reports and updates on the impact of our work for funders in a timely manner. 

Data Management and Monitoring

• Update our internal database (Salesforce) with all donor interactions, donations and other details ina timely and efficient manner and with strong attention to detail, and analyse data to give insights' and drive future activity.
• Manage the Trusts & Foundations and Statutory pipelines and report on income and other KPIs, and ensure Trusts & Foundations team meets monthly targets and deadlines.

Line Management

• Actively manage and develop the Trusts & Foundations Executive to help them grow personally and in their role.

MHFA England are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and manage organisational projects that form part of our planning and change portfolio, ranging from updating our product and services roadmap to supporting longer-term change programmes.

About the role

We're seeking a Deputy Service Manager to join our Independent Approved Premises (IAP), commissioned by Criminal Justice Service (IAP) which works with high risk offenders who have left prison. Penrose Drive is a community setting, rather than custodial where residents can go out in the community if they do not have restrictions on their license. Security is therefore flexible in both design and operation. The team work in a multi disciplinary approach, working alongside probation services, job centres, mental health teams, and other community partners. 

You will lead the team by providing line management and leadership support to enable and empower the team to deliver high quality support to our residents. You will ensure a quality service is delivered in line with our contractual requirements, and will encourage the creation of a psychologically informed environment, which provides person centred support. The role includes:

• Line Management and Leadership, supporting your team providing advice, guidance and support throughout their employment lifecycle

The Muslim Hands Fundraising team is looking for a Creative and Brand Manager. This is a 12-month-opportunity to help shape the visual identity of Muslim Hands and deliver campaigns end-to-end, including the 2026 Ramadan campaign. You will be leading a small team of Creatives who work closely with the marketing and web team and also get involved in other design projects briefed by other stakeholders in the organisation. Community Fundraising Manager

This is an exciting opportunity to join an ambitious and talented fundraising team

We are looking for an experienced Community Fundraising Manager to join our small and friendly fundraising team. You will be responsible for driving our strategy for Community Fundraising, Individual/Regular Giving and Events. With a database of around 100,000 registrants and 15,000 members, these existing income streams have lots of great potential. We have amazing fundraisers in our community who take on challenges like the London Marathon, London to Brighton bike ride, or their own swimming challenge and there’s lots of great potential amongst our supporters, including our committed members and regular givers.

Contract:  Permanent
Hours:  30 hours per week (negotiable for the right candidate)
Flexibility: We are a flexible employer and most of our staff are juggling things (including caring for multiples!) We are great at making jobs work around life.

Purpose of the role

• Grow a successful existing income stream (Fundraising Events and Regular Giving) and develop and grow a comparatively new income stream (Community Fundraising and Individual Giving) for Twins Trust. You will do this alongside other fundraisers in the team and with support from a Fundraising Officer.
• Lead and develop a multi-year strategy for growing our Community and Events programmes, with a well-planned calendar of events throughout the year covering different themes and geographies.
• Lead the strategy for our Individual/Regular Giving programme
• Lead on the creation, planning and delivery of a new Twins Trust owned mass participation fundraising event
• Provide strategic support and guidance to our Fundraising Officer to implement the annual raffle, ongoing Lottery programme and Individual Giving programme.

• Significant experience of leading a 6 figure multi-year community fundraising strategy including forecasting and monitoring income and expenditure

1. Overall strategic development and management of the Community Hub Programme

Manage and develop the Community Hub providing activities, personal development opportunities and information for refugees and people seeking asylum.

Line manage ESOL Coordinator with supervision and appraisals supporting their CPD

Work with the ESOL Coordinator and volunteers to develop activities and client engagement within the project.

Plan and ensure delivery of short courses, workshops and events either in house or facilitated by partners.  Promote local activity and encourage client participation in line with the requirements of the Big Lottery funding.

Oversee project activities in all venues ensuring practical and active implementation of all policies and procedures, particularly Health and Safety, Risk Assessments, and Safeguarding

4 General Responsibilities within the organisation

Team responsibilities including attending staff meetings, dealing sensitively with service users and facilitating internal and external referrals.

Work within the team to deliver a holistic service for clients.

Work within the team to undertake duties to ensure a clean and safe working environment.

Represent RAK at external meetings as agreed with the CEO, attend training, keep

up-to-date with changes in the asylum system.

Undertake any other duties that may reasonably be required.

Some of the things you would be responsible for as a Community Manager:

• Responsible for the admission welcome including assess new referrals, interviewing potential Companions, welfare and care of Companions, their integration into the Emmaus Community and the wider community at large, developing a sense of extended family.
• Lead and implement a culture which provides confidentiality, promotes professional boundaries, protects data, and safeguards Companions, Volunteers and staff.
• To manage support relating to Companion’s needs regarding their daily living requirements, physical and mental health, safety and personal development.
• To assist and encourage Companions to move into independent accommodation where appropriate
• Ensure that effective Safeguarding systems are in place and maintained, acting as the organisation’s Designated Safeguarding Person, with delegated responsibility for policy development, implementation, and reporting.
• Working in partnership with the Retail Manager, facilitate, encourage, and support companion engagement and training within the social enterprises to ensure they are viable businesses.
• Assist the Multi Site Property and Facilities Manager in the upkeep and maintenance of the Community, to ensure that it provides a pleasant and comfortable home for the Companions, whilst adhering to health and safety requirements.

Job Summary

The Advocacy and Campaigns Manager will play a crucial role in shaping and delivering Put Children First, the advocacy and campaigning initiative of Alder Hey Children’s Charity. The post holder will be responsible for influencing decision-makers, engaging stakeholders, and leading impactful campaigns to ensure children’s health and wellbeing are prioritised in public policy.  

This role requires a strategic thinker with strong public affairs expertise, policy understanding, and excellent communication skills. The campaign is child led and will involve working with children to raise their voice. The post holder will also work with politicians, policymakers, clinicians and internal stakeholders, partner organisations, and the public to advocate for change, ensuring that Alder Hey Children’s Charity is a leading voice in children’s health policy and advocacy. This role is one of the first with a charity aligned to an NHS Trust and will appeal to someone with a strong desire to pioneer advocacy and campaigning in a unique setting. 
 

Main Duties/Tasks 

Advocacy & Campaigning Strategy  

• Work with the Head of Marketing & Communications to develop and deliver a proactive and inclusive advocacy and campaigning strategy to drive meaningful policy change that benefits children’s health. 

• Identify and respond to policy developments, advising on how Alder Hey Children’s Charity can influence key decision-makers and stakeholders. 

• Lead campaign planning and execution, ensuring activities engage supporters, stakeholders, and policymakers effectively. 

• Develop and manage partnerships with other charities, organisations, and networks to amplify the impact of the charity’s advocacy work. 

• Work with external agencies where necessary to develop and deliver plans, being the key point of contact.

Public Affairs & Stakeholder Engagement  

• Build strong relationships with MPs, government departments, local authorities, and policymakers at national and regional levels. 

• Represent Alder Hey Children’s Charity and Put Children First in parliamentary briefings, policy roundtables, and stakeholder meetings. 

• Monitor political and policy developments relevant to children's health, providing insightful briefings and recommendations to senior leadership. 

• Support senior leaders and Trustees in their engagement with political and policy stakeholders, ensuring they are well-briefed and strategically positioned. 

• Engage with children and families to ensure their voices are central to the advocacy work, developing plans to engage under represented communities.

Policy Development & Thought Leadership 

• Translate complex policy issues into clear, compelling narratives that drive awareness and action. 

• Work with colleagues to develop policy briefings, reports, and consultation responses, ensuring Alder Hey Children’s Charity is a credible and informed voice in the sector. 

• Work with the Head of Marketing & Communications to position the charity as a thought leader on children’s health policy, ensuring its voice is heard in key debates and discussions. 

• Identify opportunities to influence policy discussions through submissions, evidence-gathering, and research collaborations. 

Media & Communications 

• Collaborate with the Marketing & Communications team to develop compelling messaging that supports advocacy goals. 

• Work with the charity’s Communications Advisory agency to secure media coverage on key issues, providing expert commentary and ensuring children’s health remains a priority in public debate. 

• Develop engaging and inclusive content for Put Children First, including press releases, blogs, social media, film and supporter communications. 

• Work with campaigners and families to amplify lived experiences in advocacy efforts, ensuring their voices are central to campaigns. 

Internal Collaboration & Leadership 

• Work closely with the fundraising teams, grants team, marketing and communications and the Trust’s Communications team to ensure advocacy work aligns with broader charity and Trust objectives. 

• Provide advice and guidance to colleagues on policy and public affairs matters, in consultation with the Head of Marketing and Communications where required. 

• Support the development of staff and volunteers as advocates for the charity’s policy positions. 

• Ensure all campaign activities align with Alder Hey Children’s Charity’s values and meet ethical and legal standards.

Our Community Organiser plays a crucial role in contributing to our ongoing Permanent, Safe Homes Now campaign, which aims to set a precedent for housing reform nationwide. Our mission is to drive meaningful change and empower communities facing social injustice across the UK.

As part of our team, you'll contribute to expanding and strengthening PEACH's membership and influence. This involves planning and executing strategic campaigns collaboratively, which aim to address key issues our members face. You'll also oversee project delivery, monitor progress and report on outcomes, and communicate successes and best practices. In this collaborative environment, you'll work with team members to shape PEACH's organising strategy, foster organisational growth, and support decision-making on future directions.

The Ideal individual will have prior community organising experience (paid or voluntary), with a deep understanding and experience of collective action's transformative potential. You will have a solid understanding of the political landscape with an underlying community organising mentality. You will be comfortable knocking on doors and moving people to act within their capacity, whilst presenting an empathetic and understanding nature.

Job Description: :

● To support the Custom House and Canning Town community to grow and develop, working with them to build their sense of belonging, community pride and spirit. 

● To listen to local people, to support them to develop power to act together for the common good and help them act on the local issues that are important to them.

Job Title: Voluntary, Charity, Social Enterprise (VCSE) & Community Development Assistant

Base of Work: Hybrid typically minimum 1 day per week at Community Impact Bucks Office near Aylesbury with the rest working from home

Hours: Part time 28 hours per week but we will consider reduced hours (e.g. 25 per week).
