About the role

This is a new role which will help to deliver a pilot strategy to grow long-term sustainable income by enhancing Breast Cancer Now’s on-the-ground presence locally.

Joining the relationship fundraising team and working closely with the high value partnerships team, this role is responsible for cultivating new long-term relationships and, in turn, driving fundraising income.

Uniquely, the post holder will help to implement a large-scale trial to further grow Tickled Pink, an award-winning partnership between Asda, Breast Cancer Now and CoppaFeel! which has raised over £100m. The goal is to grow both engagement and future income by directly supporting colleagues across Asda stores in their local area.

In addition, this role will establish and grow a portfolio of supporters in Bristol and the southwest by cultivating relationships with new and warm supporters including individuals, clubs, societies and local companies. It will also line manage a community fundraiser covering a patch in London and the southeast.

What’s special about this role is that you’ll be working alongside a supportive, innovative and fun team which has delivered continued growth in fundraising over the last five years.

The is the first time the charity has had a community fundraiser locally based in the southwest. It is one of five new roles being introduced as part of the pilot, and the goal is that they all become permanent. 

About you

You’re a pro at cultivating long term relationships with a variety of new supporters to generate income, and have great community fundraising experience working with individuals, local companies and clubs and societies.

You’re proactive and can work in a flexible and agile way; perhaps you’ve helped to deliver successful pilots in the past. You’re solution focused and experienced in developing and delivering ideas to grow income and engagement in the short and long term.

With great communication skills, you’re a team player and love working independently as well as part of a large team with various stakeholders.

Primary location of role and hybrid working

This is a remote role, and the candidate will need to be based in Bristol or the surrounding area. Regular travel will be required to meet supporters and visit Asda stores in your region, as well as to our offices in London and Cardiff.

The Role:

• Responsible to the Housing Manager for delivering a high-quality, customer-focused housing service to ex-service personnel and their dependents.
• To provide an effective and responsive housing management service for a patch of Stoll properties, meeting agreed performance outcomes and objectives for key

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the first point of contact in relation to housing applicants, ensuring that all data is recorded accurately on the housing database, and the waiting list is
  managed efficiently.
• Take part in the Allocations process, working with the other members of the Housing team to ensure that all voids on the patch are efficiently allocated and that let targets are met.
• Undertake viewings, sign-ups and new tenant visits, working in partnership with the Support team to ensure new tenants are aware of their rights and responsibilities and are fully supported through the process in order to successfully sustain their tenancies.
• Investigate and make recommendations on the suitability of applications for transfers and mutual exchanges in accordance with established procedures.
• Carry out void inspections in the absence of the Property Services Manager and, where appropriate, arrange the appropriate void remedial work

Specific Responsibilities:

• Knowledge of lettings and allocations, rent collection and arrears management, repairs and maintenance, tenancy disputes and anti-social behaviour policie and procedures and their application
• Understanding of the legal framework and regulatory context in which Stoll operates and the role of local authorities and Registered Providers in providing housing services
• Experience/knowledge of the issues facing the ex-Service community, especially those Veterans with support needs.
• Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent – minimum of five GCSEs at grade C or above, including Maths and English
• Working knowledge of housing legislation, including tenancy enforcement, debtrecovery, and anti-social behaviour.

The Senior Programme Manager will work across teams within Breast Cancer Now and externally, to plan and manage, as part of Breast Cancer Now's exciting transformational growth plans, the delivery and evaluation phases of a 3-year pilot, train the trainer programme, in defined targeted areas within England and Scotland. This role covers the final 2 years of the pilot.

The programme will help drive forward the public health, inclusion, and awareness team's work across the UK, which is to empower patients and the public to play a full role in managing their own risk of getting breast cancer, diagnosing breast cancer earlier and improving their quality of life after a breast cancer diagnosis and treatment, thereby reducing the risk of recurrence.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the delivery and development of Breast Cancer Now's Train the Trainer programme, ensuring effective project management, evaluation, and continuous improvement.
• Manage a remote delivery team and external partners, including evaluation agencies and suppliers, providing strategic oversight and direction.
• Oversee public health and inclusion initiatives, building strong relationships with stakeholders, community groups, and health sector partners across the UK.
• Ensure high-quality programme delivery, maintaining documentation, monitoring impact, managing budgets and small grants, and driving process improvements.
• Represent the charity externally, including at conferences and meetings, championing equity and inclusion in all aspects of public health engagement.

The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in managing and delivering high-level projects and programmes, particularly in public health, behaviour change, and training delivery. You should have a strong background in developing both digital and face-to-face interventions for a range of audiences, including underrepresented groups and professionals across health, education, and community settings. Proven ability to manage people, budgets, and external partners is essential, alongside experience in independently delivering and evaluating projects. A solid understanding of health inequalities and the wider determinants of health are also essential.

You will need to demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills, as the role involves engaging with stakeholders at all levels, including within the NHS and community sectors. The successful candidate will be confident working both independently and as part of a dispersed UK-wide team, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively. You will have excellent knowledge of monitoring and evaluation, as well as UK healthcare systems and the challenges they face. Experience of working in the charity/voluntary sector and within a cancer care environment are highly desirable.

This role can be based in the London or Glasgow offices. The programme is being delivered in England (Westminster and Leicester) and Scotland (Glasow and Lanarkshire), based on mortality rates of breast cancer and you will need to travel to these areas. The hybrid working model allows full-time staff members to work up to 3 days per week at home.

I am working exclusively with a respected not-for-profit organisation who are currently in the market for a very proactive and experienced HR Administrator to join their HR team, working on a 6-month fixed-term contract with the view of potentially extending (via a fair and open process). You will act as a first point of contact for HR related administrative queries and support the team with a wide variety of HR tasks. Key Duties

Administration and support

• As a member of the HR team, you will ensure that all administration activities which support the work of the HR team are managed in a proactive and efficient way.

Haven House Children’s Hospice cares for children and young people who have life-limiting or life-threatening conditions across North and East London, West Essex and East Herts. This role sits within the High Value partnerships team, working within the Corporate fundraising team, and alongside Philanthropy, Trusts and Grants, and Special Events. It reports into the Assistant Director of IGM/ Head of High Value Partnerships.

The Role

We are seeking a dynamic and technically astute Project Manager to join our Projects team. This role will oversee projects that use artificial intelligence and emerging technologies to improve education access, equity, and outcomes across the three pillars of Theirworld’s work: Best Start in Life, A Safe Place to Learn, and Skills for the Future.

The successful candidate will support the development and delivery of innovative pilots, including projects that explore how AI and technology can equip children and youth with the competencies, digital fluency, and adaptive skills needed to thrive in a rapidly changing world. You will manage local partnerships, steer experimentation, and ensure robust learning cycles that contribute to Theirworld’s pilot-to-scale strategy.

This role is ideal for someone who seeks greater depth of knowledge, impact-driven, and excited to shape how emerging technologies can accelerate educational equity in low-resource settings.

This role is for maternity cover but with the possibility of extension.

Main Responsibilities

Project Management

• Manage a diverse portfolio of education projects across Theirworld’s three pillars – Best Start in Life, A Safe Place to Learn, and Skills for the Future, with an emphasis on those leveraging AI and emerging technologies.

• Oversee programme planning, budgeting, delivery, reporting and learning for projects, ensuring milestones are met, partners are supported, and learnings are captured.

• Lead on the implementation of projects that apply digital or AI driven solutions to improve learning outcomes, particularly within the Skills for the Future pillar.

• Ensure all projects are inclusive and aligned with Theirworld’s cross-cutting vital areas: gender, inclusion, climate, health & nutrition, and peace & security.

AI for Future Skills

• Identify and manage projects that apply AI tools to build transferable, digital, and job-relevant skills for youth.

• Explore and test the potential of AI to personalise learning, support educators, and close skills gaps in marginalised communities.

• Ensure ethical, context sensitive, and inclusive use of AI in education projects, especially for girls, children with disabilities, and crisis-affected learners.

Partner Management and Grant Oversight

• Lead relationships with local delivery partners, edtech companies, and civil society organisations to co-deliver impactful projects.

• Draft and manage contracts and reporting templates; support partners with MEL frameworks aligned with pilot-to-scale goals.

• Conduct partner check-ins, manage grants, track spending, and ensure timely reporting and adaptive learning.

Learning and Contribution to Strategy

• Document and disseminate learnings and emerging insights on AI in education.

• Contribute to Theirworld’s knowledge assets and participate in knowledge sharing platforms and global convenings.

• Support scale strategies by contributing to replication toolkits and packages based on pilot results.

Cross-Team Collaboration

• Collaborate closely with colleagues across Theirworld, including development, campaigns, advocacy, communications, and research teams, to ensure alignment, maximise impact, and foster shared learning.

• Actively contribute to cross-organisational initiatives, helping integrate projects into wider strategic objectives.

• Engage with our Development and Fundraising team to identify and support the cultivation of potential funders and supporters for the project pipeline 

• Provide additional support to the Director of Programmes and other team members as required to ensure the smooth delivery of projects and organisational priorities.

Experience, Skills and Character

• 5 - 7 years of experience in education, edtech, or AI-for-development projects.

• Proven project management experience delivering initiatives in partnership with local organisations, NGOs, or tech providers.

• Strong understanding of education systems, future skills development, and how technology (especially AI) can support them.

• Confident managing project budgets, reporting cycles, and monitoring frameworks.

• Deep commitment to equity, inclusion, and ethical innovation in education.

• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile, and mission-driven environment.

WHAT IS OUR SECOND HOME

We are a youth movement that empowers people with refugee backgrounds to build community, become leaders, and flourish into adulthood in the place that they call home.

We are looking for a highly engaging Leadership & Volunteering Manager to lead and grow our leadership training programming, and to lead on the recruitment, development and retention of our pool of volunteers. You will work across our various hubs to ensure all volunteers are well-supported, feel valued, and are making meaningful contributions to OSH’s mission.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Leadership Training & Development

• Oversee and continue to codify OSH’s LIT (Leaders in Training) course, including in-person and online sessions, and mentoring LITs on their first residential. This will include hands-on delivery, managing logistics, and working with volunteers and facilitators.

• Co-design and develop other leadership programmes for young people.

• Support young people from refugee backgrounds to move from participants to leaders within OSH.

• Lead the delivery of training and induction for new and returning volunteers in hubs, at pre camp training days and leaders retreats. This includes safeguarding, group dynamics, facilitating groups, and OSH values, but will also include identifying gaps and trends in skills and experiences.

• Help shape the pedagogy and outcomes of OSH’s leadership programmes.

Volunteer Strategy & Recruitment

• Ensure there is an active pipeline of people signing up for the LIT course

• Design and implement a volunteer recruitment strategy to attract a diverse range of volunteers from within OSH and externally.

• Build partnerships with universities, youth networks, and professional communities to widen reach.

• Develop inclusive recruitment materials and accessible application processes.

Volunteer Engagement

• Develop progression pathways for volunteers.

• Ensure an active culture of feedback and reflection within leadership and volunteering.

• Track volunteer impact and progression.

• Coordinate check-ins, socials, and wellbeing support for volunteers.

• Work closely with the whole team to ensure volunteer experiences are safe, rewarding, and well-held.

Operations & Evaluation

• Maintain volunteer records and communications using Beacon (OSH’s CRM).

• Monitor data on volunteer recruitment, attendance, retention, progression, and impact.

• Contribute to fundraising work, for example by ensuring there is a regular supply of case studies for OSH programmes.

• Collaborate with colleagues to share impact and improve practice.

Other duties

• Getting involved in OSH events in the evenings and at weekends, including residentials. These are overnight trips from 2 to 5 nights

• Other duties as may be required from time to time

IDEAL EXPERIENCE

• Excellent facilitation, training, and communication skills.

• Strong experience managing volunteer programmes and/or leadership development.

• Experience designing leadership training or curriculum.

• Understanding of and training in safeguarding in youth settings.

• A deep understanding of inclusive, trauma-informed, and youth-centered approaches.

• Experience supporting young people from marginalised backgrounds, ideally those with lived experience of the asylum system.

• Experience volunteering or working in residential programming.

• Ability to build relationships across diverse groups and inspire trust and commitment.

• Organised and systems-minded, with good project management skills.

• Confident using digital tools (e.g. Google Workspace, CRMs)

• Passion for OSH’s mission and commitment to centering people with refugee backgrounds.

• Ability to speak in other languages relevant to our community, including Arabic, Pashto, Farsi, Tigrinya, Amharic, and Oromo.

On use of AI

We appreciate many use AI tools in applications, but encourage personal insight and genuine motivation. We may also use AI tools to support application sifting, under human supervision. Final decisions are always made by people, not machines.
