We have an opportunity at The Royal Lifesaving Saving UK, the charity that since 1981 has been sharing its expertise in water safety, lifesaving, and lifeguarding to educate everyone to enjoy water safely.
Every single year an average of 312 UK and Irish citizens lose their lives to accidental drowning and we are making excellent strides to address this tragedy, as well as working hard to ensure everyone has the skills and knowledge to enjoy water safely.
This is a new, fantastic opportunity and we are looking for a talented Strategic Partnership Manager to join an incredibly ambitious, passionate, and skillful team.
KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify, develop and manage new partnerships with youth agencies and organisations to enhance opportunities for education programmes and clubs and grow our community
- Build on and maintain existing strategic partnerships to better enable our work to prevent drowning and help everyone to enjoy water safely
- Lead on partnership strategies and agreements with a view to amplifying messaging of both organisations
- Be integral to the development of a long-term partnership strategy
- Work in partnership with the Commercial Department to leverage strategic relationships with commercial partners
- Oversee and manage our funder pipeline, including overseeing donor prospecting
- Lead our strategy with identified local water safety groups/forums to ensure we effectively support locally managed activity
- Where applicable seek funding and income opportunities from existing partners
- Lead the practical delivery and management of outputs agreed with partners
- Monitor, evaluate and report on relationships and their impact, making recommendations to the Head of Charity Communications and advising the wider Charity Team.

Our Innovations workstreams explore and pilot new solutions to operational and strategic challenges sustainability standards face. The position will be critical to the coordination of projects and engagement with ISEAL members on system innovation working on sustainability topics such as farmer livelihoods, sustainable landscapes, and the bio-economy. Specific project assignments will change over time as our project portfolio evolves.
ISEAL is co-creating knowledge and content, often working on topics where good practice and solutions have not yet been identified. The coordinator will be part of this journey of peer-to-peer learning, pilot testing, and discovery. The role will collaborate with different ISEAL teams and be in contact with ISEAL community member / partner organisations, making this an excellent opportunity to learn about a wide range of initiatives.

The key responsibilities we entrust you with
Project support
- Contribute to outreach to project stakeholders, Community Members, partners & event attendees, answering and directing queries and scheduling appointments and virtual/ in-person meetings
- Organise meeting logistics, agenda preparation, notetaking, audio recording and the tracking and implementation of follow up actions and communications
- Carry out background research, review documents, and gather and analyse information using templates and tools such as Excel
- Coordinate project processes, including implementing procurement procedures, drafting contracts with consultants (based on ISEAL templates) and maintaining project-related systems
- Maintain web pages related to event and programme activities and support email and social media campaigns; upload blogs, documents, and resources

Essential attributes, skills & knowledge

JOB DESCRIPTION AND PERSON SPECIFICATION
The Individual Giving Manager (Retention) will work within the Public Fundraising Team and play a key part in growing and sustaining income from our individual giving audiences of cash donors and regular giving supporters. You will work closely with the Deputy Director of Fundraising, Individual Giving Manager (Acquisition), Supporter Care Officer and Database Manager and will be responsible for the development, project management and delivery of the supporter retention, renewal and stewardship program. Role Responsibilities:
This role plays a key part in driving income growth and sustainability in our Individual Giving programme.
Your priorities will include:
· Driving the strategic and operational planning of Individual Giving to deliver strong income growth and return of investment (ROI), ensuring agreed targets and KPIs are achieved in relation to retention and conversion of existing donors.
· Devising and delivering the overall Individual Giving retention and stewardship budget to maximise opportunities for growth, preparing robust annual income and expenditure budgets and operational plans.
Strategy, planning and delivery:
· Develop and manage donor retention and upgrade for cash donors and regular givers across all channels to increase our supporter base, maximising ROI.
· Devise and deliver the overall Individual Giving retention and stewardship budget to maximise opportunities for growth, preparing robust annual income and expenditure budgets and ops plans, reforecasting these on a quarterly basis and engaging with month end processes.
· Lead the delivery of an impactful stewardship programme, which includes managing the supporter newsletter to optimise donor retention and development across all supporters, delivering exceptional donor experience; oversee timely responses to donors.
· Optimise data and data capture opportunities to help us better understand our supporters, inform strategy and ultimately deliver insight to help drive retention and lifetime value.
· Provide timely high-quality reporting with robust analysis and recommendations to improve performance – utilising your Individual Giving expertise and sector benchmarks.
· Adopt a test and learn mentality to strategic planning, developing new activities to provide the charity with a balanced portfolio of offers for new/existing donors.
· Direct and manage external suppliers to execute the Individual Giving retention programme to meet agreed budgets, timelines and KPIs.

Role Purpose
Responsible for developing and delivering our Fundraising strategies, to secure appropriate funding to ensure the sustainable delivery of high-quality services by Home-Start Essex.
As Grants and Commissioning Manager you will use your experience and skills to identify and lead approaches to trusts, foundations, company foundations, statutory and other organisations securing funding from £5k-£800K+. You will create high quality approaches and deliver against financial targets, proactively supporting opportunities to source income to support children and families within Essex.

Reporting to the Head of Development – Student Support, the Senior Development Executive will develop and implement plans to generate major gifts for Student Support with an emphasis on outreach, internships and postgraduate support.
About the Role
- The post holder will be expected to spend the greater part of their time identifying, meeting and stewarding current or prospective donors.
- The post holder will manage a portfolio of more than 100 major gifts prospects. The post holder will be responsible for the identification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of potential donors, typically in the range of £250,000-£1,000,000.
About you
- You are a motivated fundraiser with experience of raising at a minimum six-figure gifts and a keen interest in widening access to Higher Education by gaining support for scholarships and graduate scholarships across a wide range of areas.
- You are highly motivated and will possess a strong drive towards getting out in the field, developing purposeful and effective relationships with prospective benefactors and advancing social mobility through philanthropic investment.

We are at an exciting stage as an organisation with an ambitious 10-year strategy to increase our choirs from six to thirty by 2033, so we are investing in our fundraising team to grow our income in line with our bold strategy and plans.
Reporting to the Head of Development, the Development Manager will take an active role in building a robust and sustainable major donor and corporate fundraising programme to help us expand our work across the UK over the coming years. They will work closely with the Head of Development to establish new and exciting partnerships with high-net-worth individuals and companies who align with our values, to grow income sustainably and guarantee the long-term stability of the organisation. As well as these two key areas, the role will also oversee the individual giving programme as a whole, including the fan club and online digital appeals, with the support of the Communications and Operations Officer.

Major Donor Fundraising
- Proactively research, identify, and develop support from high-net-worth individuals.
- Manage a portfolio of philanthropy partners, building our income from major donors and developing a long-term major donor strategy.
- Plan and participate in engaging cultivation events, fostering strong donor relationships.
Corporate Fundraising
- Build and nurture strong partnerships with companies of all sizes, taking a proactive approach to ensure mutually beneficial partnerships nationally and locally in our choir cities.
- Securing gig sponsorship and Charity of the Year partnerships, both on a national and local level.
- Manage a portfolio of corporate partners of all sizes, building our income from businesses and developing a successful long-term strategy for securing financial, pro bono and in-kind support.
- Develop long-term relationships with companies and senior business people for the Choir with No Name
- Develop our workplace singing workshop programme into a sustainable self-earned revenue stream.
Individual Giving
- Oversee the Big Give Christmas campaign in December.
- Manage and develop the Choir with No Name fan club (regular giver programme), agreeing and achieving recruitment and attrition targets.
- Working with the Communications and Operations Officer, develop and promote digital giving appeals.
- Manage the Choir with No Name supporter database (eTapestry) ensuring donor data is kept up to date and is accurate.
- Work with the finance and data administrator to produce accurate and timely monthly donation reports for our bookkeeper.
General
- Contribute to the annual fundraising strategy, alongside the Head of Development and CEO.
- Develop a robust fundraising pipeline and stewardship plan to generate sustainable income in line with our targets and strategy.
- Evaluate fundraising activities, embedding a test and learn approach across all projects.
- Produce accurate and timely reports for funders and Trustees.
- Ensure donation data is accurately recorded in accordance with data protection regulations.
- Carry out any other duties as may be reasonably required by the Choir with No Name within the scope of the role.
