About You
Parentkind has been highly successful in fundraising, delivering 5/6/7/8 figure opportunities during this, its first year of fundraising. We now require an ambitious and experienced Corporate Account Manager, with a passion for building on this to grow and deliver high value fundraising partnerships that will bring about transformational change. You have a passion for the work that Parentkind does and are able to inspire our partners to work with us to make a difference to the life outcomes of young people. You’ll have

About the Team:
The Corporate Partnerships Team sits in the Strategic Partnerships Department - which is part of the Communications and Fundraising Directorate.
The Corporate Partnerships Team is made up of 3 sub teams - Partnership Management, Business Development and Private Sector Engagement. It works closely with colleagues around the world, particularly with Corporate Partnerships Teams in other WaterAid countries, the Global Policy and Campaigns Team (particularly the Global Director of Private Sector - Policy and Advocacy) and with our Programme Teams around the world.
The Corporate Partnerships Team is highly regarded externally for its thought leadership on corporate partnerships. Key focuses of the team are on business integrated partnerships, particularly on action on WASH in corporate supply chains, and consumer-based partnerships.
About the Role:
As our ambitious and passionate Head of Corporate Partnerships you will develop high impact, high value, strategic partnerships, demonstrating how private sector can play a key part in the solution to the WASH crisis, and positioning WaterAid as a leaders in this.
In this role, you will drive the ambition and strategy for our Corporate Partnerships work - in alignment with the organisational strategy, fundraising strategy and our ethical policy and standards.
You'll also:
- Provide strong leadership to the Corporate Partnerships Team
- Ensure the business development team are creating proactive, effective and sector leading strategies for our prospecting work,
- that the Partnerships Management team are providing the highest quality development in our partnerships to deepen engagement and loyalty,
- and that the Private Sector Engagement Team is supporting the creation and development of high value, high impact partnerships through supply chain direct impact.
- Lead the cross organisational focus group on private sector 'WASH stewardship', and play an active role in delivery of our Global Private Sector strategy particularly in relation to those sectors whose direct impact on WASH within their own operations is significant - working closely with the Director of Private Sector - Policy and Advocacy
- Actively drive collaborative action within the Cross Federation Corporate Partnerships Group - working with peers around the WaterAid federation to ensure that we take an aligned and global approach to our partnerships.
About You:
- Substantial experience of and a passion for partnership with the private sector and creating strategic partnerships with specific experience in working with private sector on sustainability.
- To be a strong and experienced leader, able to inspire, motivate and galvanise a high performing ambitious team.

Job description
As Corporate Partnerships Manager, you will manage and grow our relationships with partners and donors from the private sector, who support our work through donations, employee fundraising and volunteering activities.
The successful candidate will thrive on cultivating and executing a fantastic experience for our corporate partners, finding opportunities to maximise their engagement and deliver fundraised income targets. The role will focus on managing and growing our existing relationships.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Manage the charity’s relationships with a portfolio of corporate partners

Implement account management practices that support continued development and growth of key relationships, ensuring partners feel looked after, valued and understand the impact of their support.

Develop strong working internal relationships with colleagues, charity partners and volunteers, to identify suitable opportunities to bring to life the cause and solutions for partners and their employees.

Liaison between corporate partners and our volunteer programmes function, connecting partner employees to opportunities and stewarding the activity.

Create high quality reports, proposals and presentations that communicate the impact of our work and partnerships.

Ensure impactful relationships with challenge event providers and other fundraising products, taking responsibility for selling places in to partners to support fundraising and engagement.

Meet income targets of minimum c. £500k pa.

Ensure the charity complies with the fundraising regulator code of practice and fundraising compliance legislation.

Track and report on income, working with Finance as needed

Represent The Childhood Trust at events, visits and meetings

Contribute to the ongoing development and execution of The Childhood Trust’s strategic goals.
The skills we are looking for:
- Excellent communication and social skills to communicate with different audiences, including at Senior level
- Partnership management experience, ideally in a corporate enviroment
- A passion to support children living in poverty and the mission of the Childhood Trust
- Track record in securing income
- Great presentation and negotiation skills
- A proven ability to establish long-term relationships with partners and businesses
- Experience and ability to lead projects and manage project groups.
- Ability to spot opportunities, identify partners' needs and drivers and match these with the stretegic priorities of the Childhood Trust.
- Ability to work autonomously and have an appetite for continuous improvement.

Due to the formation of the new Wales Fundraising Board, an exciting new role has been created to help deliver a portfolio of corporate partnerships and events, to identify and secure new corporate partnerships and support the work of the wider UK team. About Us
The Upper Room (TUR) works with a wide range of financially and socially disadvantaged groups including homeless people, people with long-term mental health conditions, asylum-seekers, refugees and ex-offenders – helping them to improve their lives and become productive members of society. Central to our offering is our UR4Meals service, providing free, home-cooked food to people who cannot afford to provide for themselves. We are also very proud of our UR4Driving programme, which supports people recently out of prison with free driving lessons in exchange for community volunteering. Gaining a driving licence greatly enhances their future employability prospects and helps break the cycle of re-offending. The role
Is an exciting new edition to the TUR team, created to capitalise on the fact that the number of businesses in our catchment area is 45000+, but we’re not trying to talk to all of them, just target a few – ideally by gaining referrals and recommendations. So the job is to proactively find those local businesses happy to talk to us, understand what they might be looking for by partnering with a charity, share our brilliant story along with the business case (which is strong) for them to get involved with us in some way. We have made an excellent start, we already have a small number of great corporate partners, and this job is about taking it all on to the next level. As you would expect the role is about creating contacts, networking, maximising the face-to-face time with prospective partners and where possible gaining referrals. About You
You live within - or know well, West/Central London, you probably need a job with some working flexibility and want to have genuine belief in the product or service you’re talking about. You have a CV that demonstrates solid experience in a comparable role in a ‘business-to-business’ environment, a role - the success of which, is dependent on the levels of energy and proactivity you provide. This could be in another charity, CIC or other Non-Profit organisation. However, if you have a solid B2B background and want to explore a change of direction you are also very welcome to apply. The purpose of the role
The Corporate Partnerships Manager is responsible for delivering, renewing and evolving new and existing high-value, long-term corporate partnerships. They will work with the Senior Corporate Account Manager to support the team in delivering best-in-class account management. The Corporate Partnerships Manager will also support with new business and revenue generation through securing additional income.

ABOUT THE ROLE
The Corporate Partnerships Coordinator is the first point of contact for companies at Trees for Cities. They engage with companies interested in employee volunteering and/or funding partnerships to deliver our goal of healthy, accessible and resilient urban forests for today and future generations.
They are responsible for coordinating employee volunteering opportunities including producing compelling volunteering materials, responding to corporate queries and bookings, managing the volunteering calendar to support with project delivery, and ensuring effective systems and processes.
The Coordinator will manage corporate partners for a range of funding options such as charitable donations, cause-related marketing, and project sponsorship up to £10,000 per year. They will support the Fundraising team to manage corporate income by conducting prospect research and ethical evaluations, as well as database support.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage corporate enquiries, ensuring a smooth and high-quality experience. This includes providing rapid responses and directing to internal point of contacts as appropriate.
- Act as the primary point of contact for companies to coordinate volunteering days, including booking one-off corporate volunteering days or scheduling volunteering days as part of existing partnership agreements. Volunteering opportunities may be in London, across the UK or international.
- Ensure a smooth and high-quality experience for corporate partners giving <£10,000 annually to Trees for Cities. This includes producing compelling organisational and project communications, engaging promotional and stewardship materials, and managing necessary administration such as invoices, agreements, and other donor requirements.
- Work with colleagues in the Fundraising, Development, and Urban Forest teams to plan and facilitate corporate volunteering opportunities across the UK. This may also include liaising with third parties (landowners and delivery partners).
- Conduct prospect research and ethical evaluations on prospective corporate partners.
- Maintain accurate and up to date records including through our CRM databases (Salesforce, Monday, Donorfy), supporting the Fundraising team as needed.
