A key member of the Philanthropy and Partnerships team, the Corporate Partnerships Officer reports to the Corporate Partnerships Manager. The role is front-facing and requires the skills needed to build relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

The Corporate Partnerships Officer will be responsible for account managing a portfolio of new and existing corporate accounts to deliver a sustainable income growth year on year. In addition, they will work closely with the Corporate Partnerships Manager and Senior Corporate Partnerships Officer to support the day-to-day management of high value strategic partnerships and the delivery of business development activities. They will also contribute to the wider strategic aims of the P&P team to significantly grow both philanthropic and corporate partnership income and impact.

•  Inspire, motivate and maximise the giving potential of the existing portfolio of corporate partners
•  Provide a holistic supporter journey relative to the level of the partnership
• Support the Head of Corporate Partnerships and Corporate Partnerships Manager with the day-to-day management of high value strategic partnerships
• Deliver income targets, in line with each corporate partner’s aspirations and goals
• Develop and lead on seasonal project-based income generating activity
• Work effectively with operational and clinical staff to develop and implement opportunities to foster and strengthen long-term relationships with corporate partners 
•  Support and develop new engagement events and communications with corporate partners
•  Support the wider team with large communication, stewardship, or impact reporting activities.

AAUK’s primary role is to secure new national partnerships and steward our existing partners to generate vital funds for the 21 regional Air Ambulance charities and to fund our own vital sector representation, and we are looking for an experienced Corporate Fundraising Officer to join our team!

Purpose of Post
The Corporate Fundraising Officer will primarily be responsible for managing a portfolio of existing corporate partners, there will be an element of securing new corporate partners
• Creation and management of a robust pipeline to support business development opportunities and income targets for national partnerships.
• Maximise income generation opportunities from existing partners
• Secure new corporate partnerships
• Provide exceptional account management to a diverse mix of partners.

Key Responsibilities
• To work proactively to identify, research and develop new national partnerships (corporates, representative bodies, trusts and foundations) through the creation and management of a robust pipeline.
• To provide exceptional account management to a mix of national partnerships to consistently deliver mutually beneficial and multi-year partnerships aligned to AAUK’s strategic objectives and meet agreed income and engagement targets.
• To secure new corporate relationships including strategic partners, commercial and brand partnerships, grant giving, charity of the year, as well as cause-related and affinity marketing partnerships to contribute to meeting financial targets.
• To develop effective, relevant, and innovative funding proposals and pitches for potential and current partners aligned to Air Ambulances UK’s strategy.
• To work collaboratively with beneficiary organisations to deliver the full potential of national partnerships, promote awareness of our national fundraising programme to support business development and to deliver financial and social impact reporting of partnerships.
• To effectively project manage and work collaboratively with local air ambulance charity stakeholders to coordinate and maximise opportunities.
• All relevant administration tasks including thanking and recognition, monthly activity reporting, management of our general inbox and updating and maintaining AAUK’s CRM system (Donorfy).
• To attend meetings and make presentations to staff, beneficiaries, and member charities.
• To keep abreast of market trends and developments in partnership fundraising.
• To work in a way that reflects and supports Air Ambulances UK’s Values

About the Role

As Corporate Partnerships Officer, you'll be responsible for generating sustainable income through the development of long-term corporate relationships. Working closely with the Head of Fundraising, you'll identify new prospects, develop compelling partnership proposals and deliver exceptional stewardship to existing supporters.

You'll manage the entire partnership journey, from first conversation through to renewal, creating partnerships that benefit both the Ocean Conservation Trust and our corporate supporters. No two days will be the same. One day, you might be pitching to a prospective partner, the next hosting a corporate volunteering event at the National Marine Aquarium or developing an impact report showcasing the difference a partnership has made.

Salary: £27,500–£30,000 per annum

Location: Hybrid - with regular attendance at the National Marine Aquarium, Plymouth

Hours: Full Time (37.5 hours per week)

About Us

Each year about one thousand seven hundred and fifty people die as a result of road collisions on the UK’s roads. This represents an enormous loss. Each person killed or injured will be someone’s parent, partner, child, a favourite relative or best friend.

At the Road Victims Trust, we help provide effective, personal support to those affected by death or life changing injuries resulting from road collisions is a significant issue.

We seek to provide support for the bereaved and people otherwise affected by road death or life changing injuries, who are resident in Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire.

Purpose of the Role

To develop and manage corporate partnerships that generate income and raise awareness of the Road Victims Trust, while representing the organisation externally and supporting its presence across key networks and platforms.

The role will work closely with the Community Fundraiser to ensure a coordinated and effective approach to income generation.

• Identify and secure new corporate funding opportunities, including sponsorship, donations, and strategic partnerships 
• Work collaboratively with the Community Fundraiser to maximise joint opportunities 

Partnerships and External Engagement:

• Represent the Trust at external meetings, including Vision Zero and Road Safety Partnership forums 
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholder
• Identify opportunities to raise awareness of the Trust’s work and influence local discussions
• Support the CEO in developing and maintaining key corporate and strategic relationships

Communications and Social Media:

• Use social media as a tool to promote the Trust’s work, partnerships, and fundraising activity 
• Develop and share engaging content linked to corporate partnerships, events, and impact 
• Support campaigns and initiatives that increase visibility and attract new corporate support 

Additional Information:

• The role will involve attendance at meetings and events, including occasional evenings 
• Some travel within the region will be required and therefore a full driving licence will be required
