Job description

Want to make positive change for disaffected individuals? If so, join our team as a Campaign Officer to challenge unjust immigration policies

We are looking for an experienced Campaign Officer to drive forward our advocacy work with migrants and their families disadvantaged by Home Office refusals for indefinite leave to remain (ILR), and the subsequent impact for those with protected characteristics e.g. disabilities.

The successful candidate will have a track record in policy/ research, political engagement and community engagement, and excellent interpersonal skills.

The charity is looking for exceptional candidates with:

  • Commitment to upholding and advancing the rights of all migrants

  • Real vision as to how this can be done in the current political, social and economic climate

  • Readiness to work with all groups and individuals who support the MRN mission, values and vision

This is a part-time post (3 days per week), funded by the Baring Foundation, provisionally beginning in August/September 2020 and running for 12 months. The salary will be  £30,507 per annum pro-rata.  In addition, MRN contributes 6% of salary to pensions.
