Summary
We are looking for a hardworking, ambitious and dynamic PA to the Executive Principal to join Harris Academy Clapham at this exciting time. You will have excellent opportunities to engage in wider Harris Federation academy improvement and professional development activities.

Main Areas of Responsibility
The key duties of this role will cover:
- Managing the Executive Principal's diary, including identifying and arranging meetings and dessiminating briefings and documents, adding any necessary deadlines
- Communications and administration, including proofreading correspondence, communicating with key stakeholders, dealing with complex enquiries, and maintaining files and contact lists
- Managing meetings
- Being the Clerk to Governors
- HR support, including managing resignations, absence leave, risk assessments and sickness records
Qualifications & Experience
We would like to hear from you if you have:
- An appropriate degree or equivalent level of education
- Training in the use of a variety of ICT packages
- Knowledge of personal assistant roles and responsibilities
- Training in typing and formatting of a variety of documents including spreadsheets
- At least two years' experience working in school or other educational establishment
- Experience of managing staff in relation to the PA role
- Some experience of human resources e.g. recruitment and/or monitoring attendance
- Experience of working to targets and deadlines
- Experience of managing meetings including preparation and circulation of papers, minutes and ensuring information is circulated as required

We are seeking a Programme Lead (Christian Young Leaders and General Synod Young Voices)
This role requires close coordination with Programme Leads in the Growing Faith/Young Leaders team and partnership working across NCI departments. It mainly supports two interconnected national initiatives aimed at developing young Christian leaders:
1. Christian Young Leaders Programme
- Aims to equip and commission 2,500 young leaders (Years 9-13) for mission and ministry with children and young people by 2028.
- Contributes 15% toward the Church of England's broader goal of training 30,000 leaders by 2030.

2. General Synod Young Voices Project

About Shout Out UK (SOUK):
Shout Out UK (SOUK) is a UK-based award-winning political and media literacy organisation with nearly a decade of experience in delivering impactful educational campaigns. Our mission is to defend and amplify democracy by equipping individuals with the critical thinking skills needed to navigate the complex information landscape and engage as informed, active citizens. The Position:
You will be joining our small, passionate NGO to lead our resource development. Reporting directly to the Head of Programmes, you will be tasked with developing and producing educational programmes and materials on topics such as Political & Media Literacy, counter-extremism, and online safety. This will involve ensuring resource related KPIs are met within budget and on time, alongside supporting our Head of Programmes in coordinating delivery of projects. Some projects may be handled by you directly at times. Projects and resources can vary from developing media literacy workshops for schools, creating digital assets for counter-extremism training and campaigns, to planning content for city-wide democratic engagement campaigns.

The Role
As Head of Programmes and Impact, you will:

We are looking for a dynamic and innovative ESOL consultant to join our team and lead on the curriculum development and delivery of our ESOL for Work courses. ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) is a core strand of our community education offer. Each year, we support over 200 learners to improve their English, build confidence, and engage more fully in community life. In 2023, in partnership with The Bell Foundation, we launched a three-year research and delivery programme focused on improving access to ESOL for people in work. The project aims to better understand the structural and practical barriers faced by working learners, and to codesign inclusive, flexible models of delivery that can influence and shape future ESOL provision across the UK.
Now in its second year, the programme is expanding. We are developing new partnerships with employers in sectors such as hospitality, construction, and health and social care, and growing our flexible ESOL-for-work pilot offers. Through these pilots, you will also play an essential role in helping us to generate new insights and learning about what works and why.

We are excited to offer trainee positions within the Children and Young People’s Improving Access to Psychological Therapies programme (CYP IAPT). The post-holders will work within OTR as part of a multi-disciplinary team delivering brief, focused, evidence-based psychological interventions in the form of low-intensity support and guided self-help to young people who are experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties, anxiety, low mood and behavioural difficulties.
This is an exciting opportunity to gain experience whilst also completing a Graduate or Postgraduate Certificate in Psychological Therapies Practice (Low Intensity Cognitive Behavioural Therapy - Children, Young People and Families) delivered by the University of Exeter.
The post holders will attend all university-based teaching and self-study days required by the education provider, as specified within the agreed curriculum, and work within OTR services for the remaining days of the week using their newly developed skills.

Main Purpose of Job
The Youth Engagement Worker’s role is to create positive, safe, educational, and memorable experiences for young people on our programmes. Youth Engagement Workers will lead a variety of youth programmes, sessions, assemblies, and community-based projects in both local schools and the wider community. Responsibilities
- Lead, inspire and motivate young people through positive, creative and developmental sessions and activities.
- Supervise and take responsibility for pastoral care and safety needs of the young people.
- Deliver centre-based, community, school, and outdoor/adventurous activities and sessions.
- Consider youth voice and involve young people in the planning and delivery of activities on offer, and ensure they are innovative and effective.
- Plan, design, adapt, and deliver assigned curriculum sessions which include reflective learning, facilitating workshops, and youth-led delivery. Ensure sessions are consistent with the project themes and youth work outcomes.

The Selection Criteria
Essential
Qualifications and experience
1. At least one year’s experience of delivering positive activities with young people (either in a voluntary or paid capacity).
2. Youth Work level 2 or alternative equivalent experience
3. Experience of inspiring and motivating young people from a variety of cultural, economic and social backgrounds.
4. Experience of planning, leading and facilitating both large and small group sessions, and 1 to 1 activity.
5. A Safeguarding and First Aid qualification or willingness to complete training.
Skills, Knowledge, and ability
1. An awareness of current socio-economic issues and trends which may affect young people and youth employment in the locations we work in.
2. Ability to build relationships and work alongside stakeholders including schools, charities, employers, local council etc.
