About the role

The Fundraising Strategy & Operations Team deliver the Fundraising strategy and provide high quality operations to support the Fundraising Directorate.  The team has a variety of different functions including Supporter Care, Strategic Liaison with Service teams, Compliance, Supporter Journeys and Communications as well as general administration. This role will be managing the Supporter Care team of three people.

About you

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience of working in a busy supporter care environment, working to tight deadlines
• Experience of writing donor correspondence and creating data capture guidance
• Proven experience of supporter care campaign management including creating clear processes and flow charts and managing, negotiating and liaising with suppliers.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to plan and manage a variety of projects and activities to tight deadlines
• Excellent interpersonal skills, along with the ability to develop strong working relationships with external suppliers and internal departments
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to deliver presentations and produce written documents to a high standard

About the role

You’ll be the main contact for the national training team providing support directly to kinship carers, training facilitators and others relating to the access and delivery of training events and workshops.

Endometriosis UK is the leading UK charity supporting those living with endometriosis.  About the role:

This is a pivotal role in our Campaigns and Communications Team, reporting to the Head of Campaigns and Communications. Purpose of the Job 
The Impact and Evaluation Manager plays a key role in ensuring (FELIX) can robustly measure, evaluate and communicate the social and environmental impact of its work. The role supports an evidence-based culture across the organisation, embedding evaluation and learning into service development and delivery.

Working with colleagues across (FELIX) and its network, you will lead qualitative and quantitative research and evaluation projects, generating insights that inform service improvement, fundraising and public affairs. • Lead the development and ongoing refinement of FareShare’s Theory of Change and Impact & Evaluation frameworks, ensuring they remain relevant and are embedded in impact measurement and evaluation activity

About the role
The Chief Programmes and Communities Officer will lead the charity’s Programmes and Communities Division. This division oversees our work with pupils, university students and parents, so that we can support young people from less-advantaged backgrounds to access and thrive at competitive universities. It is also home to our Research and Impact team, who ensure that our programmes are making an impact on the lives of young people and that our expertise is utilised externally to enhance best practice in the sector.

The Chief Programmes and Communities Officer will be responsible for ensuring high quality delivery across our programmes, ensuring we maximise our impact on the young people and communities we support. They will also bring our programmes and communities work closer together to strengthen the impact we have in the places of greatest need. They will represent The Brilliant Club externally, leading the Programmes and Communities Division to sustain and build partnerships with schools, universities and other stakeholders to enable the organisation to meet its growth targets.
This role holder will also be a member of the Executive Leadership Team. They will be collectively responsible for driving forward our strategic priorities, building our organisational culture and supporting the charity’s financial and reputational success. The role holder will report into the Chief Executive Officer and work closely with the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Engagement Officer, as well as engaging with our Board of Trustees throughout the year.

In2STEM Programme Officer (Maternity Cover)

We’re looking for an experienced Programme Officer to join our team on a maternity cover contract. This is an exciting opportunity to play a central role in the delivery of our In2STEM Programme during a busy and high impact period. You’ll benefit from a comprehensive handover, a supportive team environment, and the chance to make a real contribution from day one.

The Programme Officer will support the delivery of the In2STEM Programme including recruitment, planning, delivery, participant and volunteer management, and evaluation.

You will be responsible for recruitment, managing a caseload of students and volunteers (work experience hosts), and managing relationships with supporters and funders. You will also support the planning, delivery and evaluation of programme activities including training and inductions, placements, online workshops, competitions and celebration events.

In2scienceUK is a remote based organisation, that requires occasional travel across the UK for recruitment, events, internal & external meetings and staff co-working days.

Duties and responsibilities:

Programme Delivery

• Managing a caseload of students and volunteers (work experience hosts) from application stage to successful completion of the programme, including recruitment, matching, onboarding, troubleshooting throughout the programme and evaluation.

• Creating and developing engaging communication materials about the programme including video presentations, posters/flyers, case studies and website text, newsletters and images. 

• Monitoring student and volunteer (work experience host) applications to ensure targets and milestones are met. 

• Maintaining up to date records via the programme database and ensuring data protection. 

• Managing relationships with existing donors and supporters and networking to develop new relationships with prospective donors and supporters.

• Organising online skills workshops and careers panels, recruiting and coordinating volunteer speakers and panellists. 

• Planning and delivering in-person student inductions and celebration events.

Evaluation 

• Evaluating programme activities, using student and volunteer evaluation data and staff insights. 

• Supporting the creation and dissemination of case studies, working closely with the fundraising team to ensure funder requirements are met. 

• Supporting team members to create evaluation and student data reports.

Essential:

• Experience working with one or more of the following groups: young people, teachers or school administrators, volunteers, universities or STEM professionals/employers. 

• Knowledge and understanding of the STEM sector, including higher education, apprenticeships and STEM careers. 

• An understanding of the social and economic barriers that prevent some young people from accessing STEM careers and an ability to recognise the importance of diversity and inclusion in STEM.

• Experience developing and maintaining strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders at various levels.

• Experience planning and delivering training, events and workshops. 

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong presentation skills and an ability to adapt to a range of audiences. 

• Flexible and adaptable, with an ability to pick up new tasks quickly, showing resilience when faced with challenges. 

• Experience delivering programmes or projects for young people. 

• Knowledge, understanding or experience of programme or project evaluation.

Who we are and why we are needed

The Fore is creating a society that solves its own problems. Each year we provide funding and skills to the best grassroots charities and social enterprises in the UK and we are growing. 

Across the UK, talented people within communities are building practical solutions to our most complex challenges – from poverty and mental health to education, exclusion and sustainability. However, the vast majority of these solutions do not achieve their potential to drive wider change across society because of failures in how the funding system works. 

The Fore is the UK’s only venture philanthropy fund that has cracked the code in how to identify and distribute funding to turbocharge grassroots innovation and catalyse change. Since 2017, The Fore has been backing the best small charities and social enterprises with astonishing results. So far over 50% of local organisations supported eight years ago have gone on to influence policy, shape national conversations and change lives at scale.

Currently The Fore is funding around 50 of the best charities per year and supporting hundreds of others with skills. However, as an organisation we need to do more. We are looking to scale our impact through two routes. Firstly, by increasing our work backing the best charities and convening and educating donors, and secondly by leading change in the broader funding system.

The role

In the next phase of The Fore’s development, it is a priority for the CEO to be able to concentrate on building the external profile and influence of The Fore’s work. Therefore, the Chief Operating Officer (COO) will play a central role in leadership as the organisation develops. The role translates strategy into delivery, providing oversight across grant making, partnerships, people, and governance, and ensuring the organisation can deliver on its ambitions while managing risk and capacity. We’re a small, agile charity so you’ll work across both high-level direction and day-to-day organisational delivery. In the next eighteen months, the COO will have responsibility for designing and delivering on a number of key strategic priorities, such as:

• ensuring the continued excellence of the grant and skills support we provide to the charities and social enterprises we back
• building out and refining existing activities and processes to ensure exceptional relationship management for our growing number of corporate and private philanthropic partners
• working with the CEO to develop the Partnerships Team to set it up for scaling and to meet the needs of new partnership models
• incorporating the use of AI into our systems and processes to streamline operations wherever possible while safeguarding the personalised experience we pride ourselves on offering all our partners.

Key responsibilities

Grant making and programme delivery

• Provides strategic oversight of the grant-making model, ensuring alignment with The Fore’s overall mission and priorities
• Acts as a senior advisor and escalation point for the Programme Team on complex decisions and delivery challenges
• Ensures that operational delivery reflects agreed strategy, including any shifts in focus, criteria, or approach

Partnerships and income

• Provides strategic oversight of funder relationships and income streams, ensuring alignment with organisational priorities and capacity
• Supports colleagues to shape high-quality proposals, renewals, and reporting
• Ensures the organisation delivers on all funding commitments, maintaining credibility and trust with funders
• Ensures that The Fore’s external messaging and positioning are clear, compelling and aligned with partner priorities
• Acts as a senior escalation point for complex funder relationships or delivery challenges
• Supports the ongoing development of The Fore’s Pro Bono (skilled volunteering) offer, ensuring it delivers meaningful value to charities while remaining a compelling and well-structured proposition for corporate partners
• Leads the commercialisation and rollout of the Fore Index (a tool that allows organisations to put a £ value on their impact), securing partners and funding to support its expansion beyond The Fore’s portfolio

Impact, data and systems

• Holds responsibility for the organisation’s impact framework, ensuring it is credible, proportionate, and aligned with strategic priorities
• Ensures data and insight are used effectively to inform decision-making, reporting, and external positioning
• Ensures that insight and impact are translated into clear, compelling external communications to support The Fore’s positioning and influence

People and internal operations

• Holds responsibility for the effective functioning and integration of programme delivery and partnerships activity, ensuring teams are well supported and operating efficiently
• Leads and manages core operational staff, including the Head of Programmes and Impact, Partnerships and Programme Managers, and Partnerships and Programme Officers
• Manages performance, wellbeing, and retention, fostering a high-performing and sustainable team culture
• Works closely with the CEO and trustees to support the development and delivery of strategic initiatives, ensuring these are operationally viable and effectively implemented
• Holds oversight responsibility for The Fore’s physical office space and equipment, managing lease and facilities contracts
• Oversees IT and systems, managing contracts for IT support, Salesforce, and other platforms

Governance, compliance, risk and finance

• Oversees the organisation’s financial management, risk management, and operational governance, ensuring robust and proportionate processes are in place
• Working with the external finance team, provides oversight of budgeting and financial performance, ensuring alignment between income, grant commitments, and operational capacity
• Contributes to the development of board and committee papers, leading on operational, financial, and risk-related content to ensure clear reporting

The Lord’s Taverners exists to positively impact the lives of young people facing the challenges of inequality. Through inclusive and transformative cricket programmes, we empower young people with disabilities and from disadvantaged communities across the UK and beyond.

We are now seeking a skilled and proactive Management Accountant to join our Finance and Operations Directorate and play a pivotal role in strengthening our financial insight, supporting strategic decision‑making, and ensuring the organisation’s financial resilience.

As outlined in the job description, this role is central to “delivering timely, accurate, and insightful management information to support effective strategic decision‑making across the organisation” and to “maintaining robust financial accounts, ensuring that all financial data is reliable and up to date.”

The Role

This is a key position within the charity, responsible for producing high‑quality management information, partnering with budget holders, and driving continuous improvement in financial systems and processes.

You will lead the month‑end process, oversee cashflow forecasting, support the annual budget cycle, and develop financial models to inform strategic decisions. You will also deputise for the Director of Finance and Operations when required, ensuring continuity and operational resilience.

The role includes line management of the Senior Finance Officer and the opportunity to contribute to cross‑organisational projects, including impact measurement, funding bids, and organisational change initiatives.

About You

You will be a qualified and experienced management accountant (CCAB, CIMA or equivalent) with a strong track record of producing high‑quality financial analysis, business partnering, and driving improvements in financial systems.

You will bring:

· Substantial post‑qualification experience, ideally within the charity or not‑for‑profit sector

· Experience designing management accounts, dashboards and KPI reporting

· Strong financial modelling skills and advanced Excel capability

· Experience leading or contributing to digital transformation or process improvement projects

· The ability to translate complex financial information for non‑financial colleagues

· Experience preparing financial statements and supporting audit processes

· Knowledge of charity SORP and sector specific compliance requirements
