Key Tasks and Responsibilities

· Production of monthly, quarterly and annual accounts to a variety of audiences. Ensuring budget holders receive financial information necessary to fulfil their own responsibilities

· Work with the Chief Executive and Finance Committee on annual budgeting, long term financial planning and forecasting for the organisation

· Production of the annual statutory accounts with the Auditors and liaising with the Audit Committee

· Production and presentation of standard and ad hoc reports to the Board of Trustees, Committees and Senior Leadership Team

· Management of the Finance Assistant, and IT and Office Assistant, including training, development and performance management

· Proactively seeking to improve all financial controls, ensuring the processes are fully documented, frequently reviewed and communicated as appropriate

· Company Secretary for Charity & Trading Companies.

Ensuring the organisation meets and complies with all statutory reporting obligations and requirements, Charity Commission, Companies House and OSCR

· Presenting financial information and data from a variety of sources in an easily understandable way

· Payroll administration including liaising with the Inland Revenue & pension company

· Liaising with auditors, banks, Investment Managers and other financial institutions

· Continually innovating to ensure financial processes link up with other processes across the organisation

· Responsibility for statutory insurances with Insurance Broker

· Manage the contract with the IT Support Company

• Support fundraising and development teams to plan and deliver digital campaigns that increase donations, engagement and awareness.

• Explore opportunities for brand development, partnerships and earned media that align with our values and strategic priorities.

• Maintain and strengthen relationships with local and national media outlets and stakeholders

Internal Communications

• Support internal communication needs across the organisation, helping teams stay informed and connected across multiple sites.

The role of Fundraising Product Officer is an exciting new role within the wider Sporting Events team that will be integral to building on the success of our existing mass fundraising product- Walk For A Cure. This role will help to deliver 50% increase in income over the next and develop our future product innovation pipeline, including a new product that is currently being worked on due to be delivered in December 2025.

The Fundraising Product Officer will play a crucial role in the day-to-day delivery of Walk For A Cure, including operations and stewardship.

Reporting into the Fundraising Product Manager, this role will work closely with internal stakeholders, external agencies, and delivery partners to ensure the events are delivered on time and to target by putting in place a robust project plan, working groups, reporting and evaluations and ensuring our processes and procedures are fit for purpose.

Main duties and responsibilities of the role:

· Work with Fundraising Product Manager to scope, test, scale or fail new products, via our innovation board

· Oversee deliverables from key agencies and ensure alignment with project objectives.

· Work with ARUK teams such as marketing and design to define roles, responsibilities, and timelines.

· Provide on-the-day event delivery support at all Walk For A Cure events and act as second in command with event delivery companies

· Generate weekly reports and updates for Fundraising Product Manager to track project progress and address any issues.

· Write and plan all stewardship emails across mass participation portfolio (e.g. Walking Series and new product in development) including building them out in the platform, test and amends, reporting, and work with supporter experience teams to consider the onward journeys.

· Manage the stewardship workstream for mass participation portfolio (e.g. Walking Series and new product in development), and feed into project groups within programme boards

· Work with key teams to support on cross-sell opportunities

· Assist in all other ad hoc tasks such as: Funraisin’ platform changes, briefing, merchandise + procurement, answering supporter queries

Actively participate in Supporter-Led Fundraising activity by attending and contributing to key events throughout the year

What we are looking for:

· Demonstrable and relevant experience in fundraising products and/or community events fundraising - delivering projects and/or from start to finish.

· Experience managing agencies and suppliers and ensuring all contractual requirements are delivered on time and budget.

· Demonstrable experience in championing a product at an organisational level with excellent skills in influencing and negotiation.

· Experience working on integrated campaigns would be advantageous.

· Project Management experience

· Experience of analysing and monitoring data in a consumer/supporter environment and utilising outputs to advise and drive forward activity.

Additional Information:

Ways of working: As part of our Agile ways of working you will be required to work approximately 2 days a week from the office, which is subject to the requirements of the role and the business needs. Flexibility on where you work can be split between working from home and our office.

OVERVIEW

This role will be a key member of our ambitious team, delivering a growing portfolio of fundraising campaigns, fundraising events, and supporter engagement initiatives. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Fundraising Campaigns & Income Generation

• Work with the Head of Fundraising to plan and deliver our 12-month supporter journey – including fundraising campaigns (online and offline), events and appeals.
• Manage our calendar of challenge events (e.g. The Don’s Cycle Challenge, Wombles Walk, Sponsored Skydive).
• Grow supporter-led community fundraising in the local area.
• Lead outreach to engage new local partners – including small businesses, schools and clubs – promoting fundraising opportunities and supporting their initiatives.

Communications & Marketing

• Alongside the Head of Fundraising, lead all communications for the charity.
• Create engaging fundraising content for email, website, and social media to drive online donations, event and programme sign-ups.
• Work with the wider Foundation team and club comms team to create content for social media, e-newsletters and our website.
• Promote Foundation programmes and campaigns to fans, families, and local supporters, driving participation and donations.
• Create marketing materials (posters, flyers, etc.) to support charitable prorammes and campaigns.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Qualifications & Experience

• Hold a relevant higher education or industry recognised certification or have a minimum of at least 1–2 years' experience in a fundraising, communications, supporter engagement or similar role

About You
We are looking for a passionate and creative individual giving fundraiser or marketeer to develop and drive forward the programme. You will have a track record of delivering against income targets and KPIs and be experienced in delivering campaigns and activities on time and within budget.

With excellent writing and communication skills, you will be able to build strong relationships with key stakeholders both internally and externally. 

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and Manage Individual Giving Campaigns:

Help design and implement engaging individual giving campaigns across multiple channels (direct mail, digital, email, telemarketing, etc.).
Plan, manage, and execute regular giving programs, aiming to grow a sustainable donor base.
Monitor and report on campaign performance, using data to optimise and drive continuous improvement.

Recruitment of New Donors:

In conjunction with your line manager drive the recruitment of new individual donors through online and offline channels, focusing on building long-term relationships.
In conjunction with your line manager develop strategies for donor acquisition via social media, digital marketing, and fundraising events.
Create and manage lead generation initiatives to convert prospects into committed supporters.

Develop and Run Legacy Campaigns:

Design and deliver targeted legacy giving campaigns to raise awareness and increase donations through bequests and regular giving.
Ensure legacy messages are communicated effectively across different touchpoints, including online, print, and events.
Cultivate and steward legacy supporters, ensuring they feel valued and part of SANE’s vision.

Direct Marketing and Social Media:

Work closely with the Digital Marketing Team to create content for direct marketing and social media to encourage donations and engage with potential donors.
Collaborate with the Media and Communications Team to ensure that fundraising messages are compelling, on-brand, and reach the right audience.
Measure and analyse the impact of digital fundraising and social media efforts, making data-driven decisions to improve engagement.

Website and Digital Fundraising:

Work with the Digital Marketing Team to ensure the charity’s online donation platforms are optimised to drive conversions and facilitate a smooth giving experience.
Work with the Digital Marketing Team, Deputy Head of Fundraising and COO to develop strategies to integrate online donation opportunities within the website, social media, and email communications.

Donor Stewardship:

Develop and implement strategies for donor stewardship, ensuring individuals are thanked, informed, and engaged post-donation.
Maintain a regular and consistent program of communications with donors, keeping them updated on the impact of their gifts.
Identify opportunities to upgrade donors to higher giving levels and inspire loyalty.

Collaboration and Reporting:

Work closely with the Services and Media and Communications Teams to gain SANE Services statistics, case studies and up to date on general mental health information, to align individual giving efforts with broader fundraising strategies.
Provide regular reports on campaign progress, income generation, and donor acquisition metrics to the line manager.
Assist with donor relations and events as needed to nurture relationships and engagement.

You will provide strategic leadership and direction for income generation through various fundraising disciplines and joint fundraising partnerships, ensuring the charity's diversification of funding and financial sustainability. Funding sources include major grantmakers, trusts and foundations, corporate partnerships, challenge events, and an individual giving campaign.

Hand in hand with leading fundraising, you will oversee the Communications team, supporting, developing and monitoring the communications strategy, associated budget, resources, systems, processes and operations. This will involve overseeing and directing a communications plan that promotes the work of Dementia Adventure to a broad range of audiences through various channels and campaigns, while also increasing online and social media presence.

Ideally, we would like the successful applicant to be able to come to the office in Essex at least once a week.

About you
We are looking for someone to join the charity’s Senior Leadership Team who will bring experience from their past successes and provide inspirational strategic leadership and direction to the fundraising and communications functions in support of the Dementia Adventure business plan, charitable mission and objectives. The successful applicant will have a strong, successful track record of fundraising and/or other forms of income generation in the charity sector, including management, with proven experience in meeting financial and non-financial targets. You should be able to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including trusts and grant givers, corporates, major donors and other individuals. In addition, you should possess a strong understanding of marketing and communication principles and practices, as well as digital marketing and social media. This year, we’ve embarked on a bold, strategic initiative to enhance our data capabilities.

We’re aiming to improve our data use, integration and analytics to increase engagement, maximise impact and drive forward our strategic goals. With a key focus on effective and efficient operations, collaboration and continuous improvement in our Technology, Strategy and Business Intelligence teams.

To achieve this ambition, we’ve developed a new technology infrastructure which we are calling “Sage”.  We’re implementing new technology infrastructure this year (such as our new CRM system and suite of data tools – Microsoft Dynamics).

We will be taking a structured and phased approach to transitioning and embedding our new team structures, infrastructure and ways of working as part of Phase 2 of this Project. 

Our Senior Business Intelligence Analyst – Digital and Engagement sits within the Business Intelligence – Engagement team.

This role is focused on providing advanced data analysis and strategic support to enhance the MS Society’s marketing, engagement, and fundraising efforts, with a focus on digital and content optimisation.

This role involves utilising advanced analytical techniques, managing complex data projects, and developing insightful reports and dashboards.

The role will work in close partnership with our Digital, Content, and Marketing teams, in leading data initiatives that improve data-driven decision-making and optimises engagement, marketing, and content across all channels.

You’ll also work closely with our Digital and Content team to evaluate and report on the performance of our website and donate funnel and develop and implement optimisation plans to drive engagement and increase conversions.

Additionally, this role provides mentorship and guidance to colleagues in the wider organisation, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and data excellence. 

This role is responsible for:

• Analysing audience behaviour, campaign, channel, and content performance, and engagement trends to support decision-making. Using advanced techniques like predictive analytics to identify optimisation opportunities.
• Work closely with our Digital and Content team to support all our monthly, quarterly and campaign reporting and develop data analysis that align with our goals.
• Creating and maintain dashboards and reports, using tools like Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Power BI to track and present analysis clearly to stakeholders.
• Maintain and optimise our digital analytics infrastructure. Design and implement tagging and tracking, trouble shoot or fix configuration issues and ensure accuracy of our tracking across all our analytics systems, including Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.
• Guiding and mentor colleagues, sharing knowledge and best practices in data analysis to enhance team capabilities.
• Ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our data by conducting regular audits and supporting data cleansing efforts.
• Contributing to continuous improvement efforts to improve analysis and reporting, staying up-to-date on the latest tools and practices in digital data analysis.

For this role we’re looking for:

• Experience in data analysis or business intelligence roles,
• Experience with digital channel analytics (social media, websites, email) and content optimisation e.g. through A/B testing and conversion analysis.
• Experience in advanced analytics techniques to optimise engagement and marketing strategies.
• Technical expertise in data analysis, manipulation, and visualisation using tools like Google Analytics, SQL, Power BI
• Knowledge of data governance and privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR).

The purpose of the job is to deliver advice to those housebound or not able to travel to The Hub, so it will involve home visits throughout the Borough. It will include assisting clients to maximize their income through providing benefits calculations, help to complete forms, provide advice resources and some supervision of volunteers. You will have good interpersonal skills, have proficient database skills and enjoy working as part of a team. Experience of benefits advice and another language is desirable.

Churches Conservation Trust (CCT) is the national charity caring for historic churches at risk. As the operator of the third largest heritage estate in charitable ownership in the UK, our 356 historic churches include examples of irreplaceable architecture, archaeology and art from 1,000 years of English history.

CCT has an international award-winning reputation in heritage conservation and regeneration. All churches in our care are listed, mostly Grade I and II*, and some are Scheduled Ancient Monuments.

Overall job purpose

In recent years, CCT has experienced great success in applying to grant funders, including Trust and Foundations, Landfill Communities Fund, and the National Lottery Heritage Fund. 

CCT’s 2025 -30 strategy focuses on delivering conservation projects across our estate and securing income from grant funders will be crucial.  We will also work with local communities to address smaller conservation projects via the Community Initiative Framework.

The Grants Officer will research and identify relevant funding opportunities, build a healthy pipeline, and submit applications for project funding to meet fundraising targets during an exciting period of growth.

There will be requirement for occasional travel for project visits and team meetings.
