As the Senior HR Business Partner, you will:

• Partner with the organisation to deliver an effective HR Business Partnering that is focused on proactive approach and solution.
• Lead and deliver effective HR operations, ensuring systems and processes are efficient and aligned with organisational goals.
• Oversee all aspects of HR operations, including employee relations (ER), recruitment, workforce management and Change Programmes.

Are you a commercially and risk-aware finance professional with a strong analytical mindset and a desire to make a real impact using your skills in financial management, planning and analysis? We’re looking for two, mutually-supporting, Finance Business Partners to join our Finance team at Woodgreen, where their insight and initiative will help shape the future of our charity in these newly created positions.

Our successful candidates will individually and collectively contribute to the effective financial management of Woodgreen Pets Charity and its trading subsidiary, Wood Green Enterprises Limited (“WGEL”).  They will work closely with the Executive Leadership Team and senior leaders to provide expert financial guidance, insight, challenge, and assurance across a wide range of financial management, planning and analysis activities.

Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, but working independently within the charity and often with minimal supervision, you will be confident using your own initiative to identify opportunities, risks, and solutions.  You will provide actionable insights for budget holders, whilst maintaining rigorous attention to the provision of accurate and timely financial reporting, compliance with relevant policies and procedures, and robust audit-ready record keeping.  You will:

• Build trust with decision makers and budget holders so that Finance Business Partner analysis, advice and guidance is actively sought and adds value in generating desired business outcomes.
• Provide insightful financial analysis, promoting commercial and risk awareness to inform decision making, providing constructive challenge and ensuring that financial governance, control and alignment to Woodgreen’s strategic plans is maintained.
• Be highly visible and engage early in supporting projects and leading them where required.  This will include the development of the financial aspects of business cases, particularly the financial aspects which ensure that business cases are of a consistent high quality and are robust and accurate.

The two roles will be equivalent, offering similar opportunities and challenges, but will be responsible for different areas of the charity’s work.  One role will partner with budget holders in the Income and Engagement Directorate, which includes responsibilities for regular audits of Woodgreen’s retail estate and may involve some regional travel.  The second role will partner with budget holders in the Pet and Corporate Services directorates, plus the CEO as the lead director for WGEL.

If you have:

• a detailed understanding of Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs/XLOOKUPs, IF statements, and other advanced functions;
• the ability to manage and interpret large volumes of data and understand complex interdependencies;
• strong influencing, communication and negotiating skills;
• a strategic mindset;
• are emotionally intelligent, can see the bigger picture, and consider the human impact behind the numbers;
• have an awareness of the current financial and economic environment affecting the charity sector.

And are a qualified member of CIMA or a CCAB, or qualified by substantial experience in an equivalent Finance Business Partner role with demonstrable evidence of ongoing relevant Continuous Professional Development.

The Coordinator will support two crucial functions of the membership team. On the compliance side, the role will be the first point of contact for members, ensuring that member evaluations and associated tasks are coordinated effectively. On the services and prospecting side, the coordinator will engage with a diverse range of organisations working in sustainability, assisting in pitching and communicating clearly about the membership value, the application process and its requirements, as well as providing specialist services and support.

To be considered for this role, you will be highly organised with great attention to detail, be process oriented and committed to providing excellent customer service. You will enjoy working on a varied set of tasks related to different areas of the membership provision. Having gained a good level of work experience, you are familiar with process administration, customer service, and stakeholder communications. You have an interest in learning more about member compliance processes and service provision. This role is supported by two associate managers in the team.

Key responsibilities we will entrust you with:

Membership applications and compliance programme

• Deliver administrative tasks in the compliance programme and application process, including scheduling calls, sourcing and maintaining evaluator records of competence & conflict of interest
• Coordinate the application process for aspiring members, pre-assess completeness of applications, and provide process guidance and support throughout their application journey
• Coordinate independent external member evaluations and act as main point of contact, responding to enquiries
• Maintain and update the Salesforce Compliance portal (platform used to manage evaluations)
• Record and track data across various platforms, updating logs and content on the ISEAL website
• Coordinate information and produce reports / minutes in support of programme management, the ISEAL Membership Committee and strategic development of the compliance programme
• Contribute to systematic measurement and improvement of the compliance programme

 Services and member prospecting

• Act as the first point of contact and respond to enquiries about ISEAL, services and membership
• Schedule and co-lead prospect calls, taking notes and supporting follow up actions
• Support to develop and maintain effective relationships with members and prospect members, as well as key stakeholders related to the compliance programme
• Use and continually improve record-keeping systems, tracking customer relationships on Salesforce and support member/customer prospecting processes
• Coordinate customer relationships related to the ISEAL Insight subscription package, including recruiting new customers and supporting existing relationships, tracking payments, and coordinating delivery of content
• Support delivery of ISEAL’s training courses, including coordinating promotions, registrations and event logistics

Experience, Knowledge and Attribute

This role is central to building and sustaining a robust philanthropic programme, with a particular focus on developing a strong pipeline of mid- and high-level donors, cultivating and stewarding High Net Worth Individuals (HNWI), and driving engagement through compelling communications and events.

We are seeking an excellent communicator and strategic fundraiser who is creative, resilient, and highly motivated. The Head of Philanthropy will play a key role in shaping and delivering sustainable income growth through individual giving, and major donor engagement—ensuring our work is resourced for the long term.

The post-holder will report to the Strategic Director of Fundraising & Development, deputising as required, and will line manage the Development Administrator. This role is predominantly based at Leeds Playhouse with some scope for hybrid working, complementing the Strategic Director role (a part-time role, mostly working remotely).

This is a permanent, full time contract. We would like to fill a requirement for 35 hours per week, which is full-time for this role, with some flexibility to work evenings and weekends when required. However, we are open to hearing from people interested in part-time work or job sharing. Pay for the role is £35,700 per year based on 35 hours per week.

How are staff supported to work remotely? 

VoiceAbility has a small number of offices. Employees including Team Leaders are homebased for Administration and meetings will be held online as well as in person in the relevant community.

About Migrateful

Migrateful is an award-winning social enterprise and registered charity founded in 2017. Our mission is to support refugees and migrants facing barriers to employment and integration in the UK by offering training, paid work, and a supportive community.

Our chefs come from diverse backgrounds, often shaped by displacement, modern slavery, or gender-based violence. Through our programme, they train to lead cookery classes for the public and corporate groups, helping them build confidence, improve English skills, and gain meaningful work experience.

Since 2017, we’ve supported over 110 chefs to deliver 5,000+ classes to 55,000 participants—creating more than 30,000 hours of purposeful employment and community connection.

About the Role

The Operations Support Officer plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of Migrateful’s cookery classes and the overall effectiveness of our operations. 

You’ll play the important role of supporting Facilitators by creating practical guides, coordinating training and skills-sharing sessions, gathering feedback, and maintaining up-to-date documentation such as health and safety records. 

Alongside this, you’ll help manage other key areas of Operations like responding to customer and volunteer queries, coordinating volunteers for public and corporate classes, and supporting process improvements around our use of Salesforce.

A key deliverable of this role is overseeing our invoicing process. You’ll be responsible for bi-weekly checks to ensure timely and accurate payments to our cookery class hosts (Facilitators) and teachers (Chefs). You’ll also support improvements that help us better track the real cost of our classes.

Person specification

This role would suit a proactive, organised, collaborative individual who enjoys variety in their work. You’ll need to be confident using systems, have a keen eye for detail, and take satisfaction in improving processes.

• Experience working in an operations, administrative or coordination role

Key Responsibilities

Invoicing

• Perform bi-weekly invoice checks and capture these on Salesforce
• ​Support the continuous improvement of invoicing systems 

Support Cookery Class Hosts (Facilitators) 

• Coordinate the periodic recruitment and onboarding of new Facilitators
• Update and improve Facilitator user guides and training materials
• Maintain regular communication with Facilitators, including announcements and process updates
• Carry out in-class observations and provide constructive feedback to Facilitators
• Provide out-of-hours remote support for Facilitator
• ​Share and implement improvements based on Facilitator feedback and survey results

Volunteer Coordination

• Respond to volunteer queries and troubleshoot the Volunteer Portal
• ​Ensure adequate volunteer coverage for all cookery classes
• Create supporting material to enhance the experience of volunteers in classes

General Operations Administration

• Maintain up-to-date operational records (e.g. DBS checks, risk assessments, food hygiene certificates)
• Complete ad hoc administrative tasks (e.g. equipment inventories, printing and laminating recipes)
• ​Support the implementation of operational policies across venues and staff

Cover and Additional Support

• Provide occasional out of-hours support to facilitators
• ​Willing to support the Operations team during periods of annual leave to ensure continuity of work

Systems and Process Improvement

• Contribute to the improvement of internal systems and processes, including support for Salesforce streamlining
• Office based admin e.g. purchasing office supplies, tracking equipment

This is a hybrid role that requires you to work from our HQ office in Farringdon, London four days a week.
