The Compliance & Recruitment Officer plays a vital role supporting the Recruitment and Compliance Team Partners to ensure that our recruitment and onboarding processes for permanent staff, temporary workers, and volunteers align with regulatory requirements and maintain the integrity and compliance of our hiring practice.

As a Compliance & Recruitment Officer you will deliver a high quality and responsive service to prospective candidates, recruiting managers and business stakeholders. In addition, you serve as a subject matter expert to the People Team and the wider organisation, ensuring that we prioritise the safeguarding of the children and young people right from the start of an employee’s recruitment and onboarding journey. 

Skills and Responsibilities 

On-Boarding & Compliance

• Coordinate all aspects of the onboarding and compliance process and ensure that the processes are completed accurately, efficiently and in a timely manner, including: issuing contracts, pre-employment compliance checks, and keying new starters/setting up new starters on the onboarding system.
• Ensure the accurate entry and maintenance of data onto the relevant HR Systems/ spreadsheets, by employing robust quality assurance and due diligence measures.
• Be the subject matter expert for Access Recruit & Onboarding and Better Impact for the team, the candidates/onboardees and the wider organisation
• Monitor and maintain ongoing compliance requirements across staff files, including (but not limited to): Right to Work documentation (i.e. valid Visas and passports); Professional Registrations; Dr’s professional insurance, etc.
• Ensure that all aspects of DBS process are managed in accordance with policy/procedures
• Assist the Recruitment & Compliance Manager in preparing, analysing and producing relevant reports and statistics.
• Conduct audit checks on new starters, volunteer and temporary worker files and report back to team to ensure continuous improvement and accuracy of data collected.
• Coordinate and/or supervise a regular and continuous calendar of personnel file reviews and audits, to ensure and maintain regulatory compliance, and where relevant escalate non- compliance issues to the Compliance Partner and/or the Recruitment & Compliance Manager.
• Assist in the coordination and delivery of an annual audit of CQC and Ofsted standards, across relevant business areas, e.g. The Children’s Trust School.
• Proactively maintain an up-to-date knowledge of our associated regulatory requirements, highlighting any updates and subsequent implications as soon as reasonably practical.
• Impart expertise and knowledge by delivering training sessions for new starters on compliance processes.
• In collaboration with the Organisation Development Team ensure the delivery of a seamless and engaging On-boarding and Induction experience for new staff and volunteers.

Recruitment & Selection

• Be responsible for the recruitment, on-boarding and compliance process for all types of permanent employees, Bank employees, temporary workers and volunteers. 
• Maintain the administration of recruitment and onboarding records, ensuring that these are complete and accurate
• Ensure all recruitment activities and the candidate life-cycle are underpinned by our Promises, whilst adhering to current employment legislation including Disclosure & Barring Service, Care Quality Commission, Ofsted, KCSIE and all policies and procedures
• Maintain an up-to-date list of vacancies, and ensure that all vacancies are advertised internally and/ or externally, in a timely manner.
• Support the Recruitment Team in the review and implementation of new and progressive recruitment initiatives, e.g. Employee Referral Scheme; Graduate Programmes; Apprenticeships; and overseas recruitment, with a view to increase the diversity and skill set of our workforce, across the organisation.
• Support the Recruitment & Compliance Partners with advertising vacancies, as well as the organisation and delivery of recruitment events and campaigns.
• Support the Recruitment & Compliance Manager with Bank Administrator recruitment and management of assignments.
• Supervise and coordinate the daily work tasks of team Bank Administration or Volunteer support, ensuring that all administrative aspects of the recruitment process are delivered to regulatory standards, on time and in a professional manner.
• Undertake other or additional duties that are within your skills and abilities, as the organisation may reasonably require from time to time.

People Team Support

• Where required, contribute to the collation of relevant recruitment and compliance data, ensuring that these are complete and accurate, in order to support the preparation, analysis and production of relevant service reports, e.g. recruitment KPIs, time to hire (on-boarding KPIs), SCR school reports, right to work/visa reporting.
• Build strong internal and external relationships and provide a first class, added value service, to all staff and external partners/ customers.
• Where required, provide additional support on specific People Team projects, as informed by and agreed with the Recruitment & Compliance Manager.
• Assist in the streamlining and automation of processes to improve operational efficiency

Job Purpose

The Senior Individual Giving Officer plays a central role delivering the campaigns and plans that will achieve the Individual Giving programme income targets. The post holder, working closely with colleagues across BookTrust, will manage existing and test new Individual Giving campaigns and develop and test new fundraising products in order to generate income from new and existing supporters.

Key Responsibilities: 

Programmes and projects

• Manage acquisition and retention campaigns including testing new audiences and channels.

• Monitor and control income and expenditure against targets outlined in annual plans.
• Feed into quarterly forecasting and annual budget setting processes.
• Closely monitor campaign results, provide updates on performance and produce post-campaign analysis reports.
• Make recommendations to improve the performance of future campaigns based on evidence and data.
• Contribute to CRM development and update existing reporting mechanisms.

As our Fundraising Officer (Community) you will be a key member of the income generation team for Winchester Hospice Fundraising Charity, joining at an exciting time following significant growth in revenue generation. You will drive our community fundraising efforts, delivering our ambitious plans and meeting financial targets.

You will lead innovative fundraising campaigns, foster and manage community relationships and ensure exceptional supporter experiences. Your role will encompass key community fundraising campaigns to maximise support and donations from both community groups and individuals.

The South East Gambling Harms Partnership is a consortium of regional Citizens Advice offices that include: Wokingham, Reading, West Berkshire and East Berkshire offices in Berkshire and Hart, Rushmore, Basingstoke and Tadley in North Hampshire. This is a high-profile initiative funded by the Office for Health Improvement and Disparities (OHID) to tackle gambling harms through the collaboration of the South East Gambling Harms Partnership.

At Blue Cross, data plays a critical role in how we deliver services for pets and the people who care for them. Duties and key responsibilities

Database Administration (Raiser’s Edge NXT)

• Manage, maintain and optimise constituent and gift data on Raiser’s Edge NXT to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Support the Database Officer with processing incoming donations from online giving platforms including JustGiving and Fundraise Up to ensure accurate integration and reconciliation.
• Support the Database Officer with monthly reconciliations between Raiser’s Edge NXT and the income spreadsheet.
• Work with the Database Manager to develop and manage Omatic Cloud automated processes for importing constituent and gift data from external fundraising platforms.
• Support the Database Manager in designing and monitoring database KPIs.
• Lead data cleansing and housekeeping projects including data retention, consent and Gift Aid reviews identifying areas for improvement and implementation of best practice in collaboration with the Database Manager and Database Officer.
• Support fundraising stewardship through event management, automated workflows and mailing list coordination.
• Process and record Gift Aid declarations in accordance with HMRC guidelines.
• Maintain high standards of data quality, GDPR compliance and robust data controls.
• Administer user access and database security settings in line with internal policies and GDPR.

Data Reporting and Insights

• Build sophisticated donor segmentation, pipelines and automated journeys to improve donor retention and engagement.
• Deliver tailored reports, interactive dashboards and insights to support strategic decision-making.

Staff Training and Support

• Provide tailored team training, knowledge-sharing sessions, and guidance materials to help colleagues make the best use of Raiser’s Edge NXT.
• Manage data-related enquiries and provide timely support.

Cross Function Collaboration

• Work closely with the Database Officer to align on day-to-day data processing and support.
• Partner with the Finance Team on reconciliation and reporting.

Our UK office is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Data & Insights Officer to lead on the day-to-day maintenance and utilisation of our data management platform, Microsoft Dynamics 365, with a particular focus on the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) module. This role is pivotal to supporting a culture of data-driven decision-making across Amref UK, ensuring the integrity and strategic use of our data to enable strategic growth in supporter engagement, retention and income generation.

The Senior Data & Insights Officer will be a key point of contact for colleagues across the organisation, playing an instrumental role in supporting how we gather, manage and utilise data at Amref UK. They will be critical in providing expertise and establishing new ways of working across key Amref UK teams, including Supporter Engagement, Programmes & Strategic Partnerships, Finance, Operations and Senior Management.  The postholder will be the organisational expert in Microsoft Dynamics working with senior leaders, Amref HQ ICT, Amref’s global Fundraising Development team (F&D) and third-party vendors to develop, implement and integrate processes and reporting tools that aid analysis and insight.  They will work with HQ ICT to deliver improved functionality and system upgrades while maintaining data integrity and compliance requirements.  Experience in relational database design and familiarity with marketing tools such as Google Analytics would also be an advantage.

To be successful in this role, the post holder will need to be a team player who brings a combination of technical expertise, communication skills and business change experience.

We are seeking a Data Services Manager to lead and be responsible for the management, use and maintenance of systems and in-house CRM databases to support the achievement of the charity’s fundraising strategic objectives. You will be analysing and reviewing data and reporting on results that can then be used to build engagement with our supporters.You will also be responsible for a team of two people. 

The successful candidate will have proven experience of working with industry standard fundraising software solutions in the charity sector, ideally have knowledge of Claris Filemaker products and will have experience of creating new, and maintaining and updating existing, complex database systems.Experience of creating scripts and troubleshooting existing scripts is key, along with considerable hands-on experience of working with complex data sources, transfers and imports. An understanding and working knowledge of Data Protection regulations is required.

Key responsibilities

 Data management & systems

• Act as the primary system administrator for RSBC’s key databases
• Maintain high standards of data accuracy, hygiene and documentation
• Manage user permissions and secure access in line with data protection requirements
• Oversee integrations, imports, exports and API connections
• Lead on troubleshooting, system development and liaison with external providers
• Conduct routine data quality checks, audits, cleansing and deduplication
• Support month-end reconciliation, in collaboration with the Finance team
• Maintain accurate consent records and ensure regulatory compliance
• Advise colleagues on best practice and ethical data use

Insight & reporting

• Produce regular insight reports for teams across the organisation
• Develop KPI dashboards and visualisations to support decision‑making
• Analyse fundraising data including supporter behaviour, retention, conversion and lifetime value
• Analyse service delivery data including demographics, reach and outcomes
• Support impact measurement and reporting for funders
• Design, analyse and interpret surveys and evaluation data

Development & improvement

The Senior Email Channel Officer is a critical role in planning, creating, delivering and optimising our email campaigns and automated supporter journeys. The role ensures supporters receive timely, relevant and engaging communications that strengthen their relationship with the charity and drive meaningful action. The post holder will have experience in achieving KPI’s such as improved campaign engagement metrics; improved automated journeys to increase retention, reactivation and income; delivering email accuracy and quality; and contributing to the overall Supporter Experience Strategy to build lifetime value through more supporters, staying longer and doing more.

This is a 12-month FTC

Key Responsibilities:

Campaign and Automation Journey Planning & Delivery

· Hands on delivery, including build and test high‑quality email campaigns that support fundraising, supporter engagement and other organisational priorities such as volunteering and campaigning actions.

· Build, test and optimise automated email journeys that welcome, retain, steward and reactivate supporters, building performance knowledge and insight that can be replicated across different supporter products and journeys.

· Support the Email Channel Manager with overseeing the email marketing calendar and sign offs where needed.

· Work with data and CRM teams to improve trigger logic, personalisation and segmentation, using your audience understanding to incorporate targeting and personalisation using customer data and dynamic content logic.

· Advise on the integration of email within multi-channel campaigns (e.g. email, SMS, Whatsapp, direct mail, social and telephone)

Reporting, Performance & Insight

· Monitor performance and continuously refine journeys to improve conversion, engagement and lifetime value.

· Work with Business Intelligence, Insight and Digital Analytics teams to produce regular reports on email performance, offering clear insights and recommendations.

· Use A/B testing, segmentation and behavioural insights to drive continuous improvement.

· Ensure activity aligns with KPIs around engagement, retention, income and supporter satisfaction.

Data, Compliance & Quality Assurance

· Ensure all email activity is fully compliant with GDPR, PECR, consent and internal data governance.

· Working closely with the website team, carry out thorough QA across content, links, rendering and segmentation before deployment.

· Champion accessibility, inclusive language and best‑practice UX within email design.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

· Work closely with internal teams needing email support, advising on strategy, best practice and channel suitability.

· Work closely with digital, brand, design, marketing, data and analytics and supporter engagement teams to improve the supporter experience.

· Work closely with other internal teams needing email support, advising on strategy, best practice and channel suitability.

· Liaise with platform and technology partners to troubleshoot issues and support continuous improvement.

Platform & Technical Ownership

· Strong use of ESP platforms such as Dotdigital, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or equivalent to build and optimise emails and journeys.

· Support the development of templates, modules, reusable assets and stronger processes.

· Contribute to platform migrations or upgrades, ensuring smooth transitions and improved capability.

· Identify and implement workflow improvements between the Supporter Experience and Data teams to increase effectiveness and reduce lead times for campaign deployment.

Training & Upskilling

· Champion email channel best practise to uphold high quality assurance and executional standards.

· Support the Email Channel Manager with upskilling and mentoring junior team members in email and channel best practice, automations, segmentation, project planning and supporter journeys.

· Create and maintain documentation of learnings, processes, ways of working and results where required.

Knowledge, skills and experience needed:

· Significant experience delivering email campaigns and automated journeys in a fundraising, marketing or digital environment.

· Hands‑on experience with email marketing platforms and CRM systems.

· Proven track record of improving performance through testing and optimisation.

· Experience working with data teams and segmentation logic.

· Familiarity with behavioural insights or loyalty‑building techniques.

· Strong understanding of email best‑practice, including accessibility, personalisation and UX.

· Knowledge of GDPR, PECR and data governance standards.

· Excellent copywriting and editing skills.

· Strong analytical skills with ability to turn insight into action.

· Have experience with interpreting and using reporting tools (Google Analytics, PowerBI, Lookerstudio or equivalent).

· Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines.

The Candidate
Experience of administering and maintaining a supporter database and developing the database to improve functionality across all areas of fundraising.
Experience extracting data from a CRM based on complex inclusion and exclusion criteria, A good understanding of segmentation and the effective use of supporter data for campaign purposes.
Good knowledge and experience of using a fundraising database for reporting and analysis.
Knowledge of GDPR and Fundraising Code of Practice as they relate to direct marketing and able to appropriately raise areas of non-compliance.
Proven ability to manage relationships with third party suppliers including fundraising platforms and mailing and fulfilment houses.
A good understanding of fundraising and how the effective use of data can drive supporter engagement and income growth.

About the role:

The prospect research and pipeline management role is pivotal to fundraising at Sue Ryder – you will sit within the Philanthropy and Partnership team and will be working across the Corporate, Trust, Major Donor and Regional teams. We are looking for someone who can support our fundraisers through prospect research, network mapping, lead qualification, and due diligence checks.

Most importantly you will be a proactive member of the team, joining us at an exciting time as we embark on our newly developed 5-year fundraising strategy. You will be a member of the team with the skills to review and develop the pipeline management process on our CRM (Raiser Edge NXT) ensuring the teams have access to dashboards, tracking their donors across the stages of solicitation. You will also provide insight reports into how well we are moving prospects through the pipelines and will have a voice to make recommendations. This role will also ensure we are working within data protection and fundraising regulations and both deliver and track our due diligence checks.

About you:

• Educated to degree level or with equivalent relevant work experience.
• Familiarity with prospect research tools and the ability to identify and recommend the best tools to support our work using the budget as cost effectively as possible.
• Thorough working knowledge of GDPR as it relates to major donor fundraising and the Fundraising Codes of Practice.
• Experience of undertaking due diligence checks on prospective donors and of setting up and implementing policies and processes to ensure regulatory compliance.

• Experience of providing relevant high quality and accurate research profiles with developed research skills and attention to detail.
• Proven experience in identifying new high-value funding prospects from the database and other sources including major donors, corporate partners and trusts.
• Proven ability to be proactive in network mapping securing new prospects or additional opportunities from existing networks e.g. see that a major donor is also a trustee of a grant giving trust or the CEO of a potential corporate partner.
