ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY
We are looking for a Data Protection Compliance Officer to join our central compliance team.
You will play a key role in supporting the Federation’s Data Protection Officer and the wider Central Data Protection Team. You will help ensure the organisation operates in full compliance with legal regulations, government guidelines, and best practice—making a real contribution to safeguarding data across the Federation.

MAIN AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
In this role, you will:
- Raise data protection awareness across the Federation
- Deliver, design and coordinate focused data protection awareness training, including analysing training needs
- Manage data incidents, ensuring swift containment, thorough severity analysis and accurate reporting
- Prepare targeted data protection communications for Data Champions
- Compile Data Protection Impact Assessments and Data Sharing Agreements
- Liaise with the Supply Management Team to conduct data protection due diligence on new third-party suppliers
- Monitor completion and maintain accurate records of Federation-wide “All Staff Data Protection Awareness Training"
- Capture and report data protection risks and related mitigating actions, as directed
- Carry out data protection monitoring and reviews across the Federation’s academies
- Maintain data protection compliance records
- Provide advice and guidance on data protection enquiries to academies and Head Office staff
- Support the Data Protection Compliance Manager and Data Protection Officer on Federation-wide initiatives and projects
- Coordinate the review and quality assurance of Federation policies and key documents—sending calling notices, liaising with relevant teams, and drafting policy update communications
- Coordinate a comprehensive suite of general compliance training for Head Office and academies
- Assist the Data Protection Officer with the management of Federation risk.
- Support the creation of the Main Trust Data Protection Board report & other compliance documentation
- Provide advice and guidance on general compliance enquiries to academies and Shared Services staff
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We would like to hear from you if you have:
- A graduate-level education (or relevant experience/qualifications in lieu of a degree)
- A good working knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications
- Working knowledge of the UK GDPR, Data Protection Act 2018 and the Data Use & Access Act 2025, including practical implementation
- Previous experience in education management, compliance, or data protection.
- Project management experience
- Experience working in a professional, high-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with excellent interpersonal abilities

About the Role
We are seeking a charity professional with evaluation and impact experience, and skills to develop Lewisham Local’s business functions such as service delivery impact with a focus on impact measurements of infrastructure work, premises, and admin.
This is a newly built role to support the charity’s new ambitious three-year strategy.
Main Objectives
- Develop and deliver the charity’s Impact and Evaluation framework
- Ensure charity’s CRM Salesforce is used at every level of capturing data
Support, develop and manage Lewisham Local’s business functions such as Admin and Premises management
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Impact Measurement
- Working closely with the SMT and project leads to understand the depth of the work carried out by Lewisham Local and develop an impact and evaluation framework to measure the success of our work.
- Train and support colleagues to ensure the framework is embedded into our daily work measuring the change created as a result of the work carried out by Lewisham Local.
- Run a quarterly impact report for SMT and Board
- Introduce data capture protocols and training on using the charity's CRM Salesforce to ensure data is recorded and up to date
- Act as a champion for this across the team
Manage Admin function
- Manage the two (job share - 0.8 & 0.2 FTE) Admin officers who support the CEO, Board and take on the general office admin tasks
- Develop and improve Lewisham Local’s admin processes
Manage premises – support and training will be offered
- Manage a Premises Coordinator (0.6FTE) in safe running the Orchard Gardens Community Centre
- Support the CEO in developing premises strategy and future proposals
Together with SMT and the CEO manage Lewisham local’s fundraising function, reviewing and contributing to the grant applications.

As a key member of the Academy’s Policy Team, the Senior Policy Officer will play an important role at a critical moment for the organisation. This role will help the Policy team to plan and deliver a new set of priorities for 2026/27. Relevant priorities for this role include, but are not limited to:

The Senior Policy Officer will be line managed by a Policy Manager.
What you will be doing
As Senior Policy Officer, you will lead on or support a range of policy projects and activities to inform and influence the policy landscape in accordance with Academy priorities. This work may include leading on or supporting the following:
- Major working group studies and corresponding outputs.
- Informing and responding to Government set pieces and announcements.
- Consultations and rapid responses, and shorter position papers.
- Roundtables, workshops, and other relevant policy events.
- Correspondence and briefings for senior stakeholders.
- Working closely with Fellows and other experts to identify and analyse key policy issues, gather data and expert opinion. Construct impactful conclusions and recommendations to advise internal and external stakeholders.
- Delivering implementation and follow-up activities on policy recommendations across external audiences and stakeholders.
- Maintaining an excellent understanding of the policy landscape by monitoring developments and key policy issues, including the use of animals in research (please see the Academy’s statement on the use of animals in research).
- Scoping potential new areas of policy work, and/or identify opportunities for the Policy Team.
External engagement
- Collaborating with organisations from academia, Government, healthcare, industry and the charity sector.
- Maintaining and developing an effective network of contacts across the sector (including our Fellows) to inform and increase the impact of policy work.
- Representing the Academy at external meetings, parliamentary engagements (such as the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Life Sciences) and political events (such as party conferences).
Supporting the Academy’s wider functions
- Supporting the Academy’s briefings and parliamentary monitoring functions.
- Coordinating across a wide range of Academy functions, including its Briefings, Impact, and Events capabilities, to maximise the effectiveness of policy work.
- Working with the Communications and Engagement teams to co-develop relevant outputs and activities.

- Supporting the development of core scripts on priority policy topics across the Policy team.

Senior Marketing Performance Officer
This role plays an important part in shaping how ARUK invests in marketing. The Research and Design Officer plays a crucial role in our work at Dartington. They work alongside experienced Leads, Senior Researchers and Designers, to support a varied portfolio of research and design projects.
This ‘Officer’ role is sometimes also referred to elsewhere as a research or design ‘associate’, ‘fellow’ or ‘consultant’.
Key duties include data collection and analysis, covering both qualitative research and design engagements (workshops, interviews, and focus groups – with young people, practitioners and system leaders) and quantitative work (surveys, synthesis of secondary and administrative data).
The Research and Design Officer also plays a key role in synthesising learning and insights, into digestible, engaging reports and outputs for a varied mix of clients and partners.

The Research and Design Officer works with our wider team to ensure that we approach our work with rigour and integrity. This includes an intentional focus in putting our anti-racist and equitable principles into practice, and preparing materials for ethical review.
Research and Design Officers work across multiple concurrent projects and report directly to experienced Leads (who specialise in research, evaluation, service design, youth and community engagement, and systemic change).

The Data Officer for our Finance and Data team will play a key part in ensuring accurate, timely data flows into Dynamics CRM and other platforms, supporting Fundraising, Marketing and Communications colleagues to make informed decisions, run effective campaigns and deliver brilliant experiences for our supporters.

Main Purpose and Scope of the Job:
Prepare compelling responses to grant applications, support the Business Development Director and wider leadership team with responses to complex tenders and high-value funding applications.

About Stop Domestic Abuse:
Stop Domestic Abuse is a proud women-led organisation supporting victims and survivors of domestic violence and abuse across Portsmouth and Hampshire. Our vision is a world without domestic abuse, and we work to ensure that it’s ‘everyone’s business.’
We provide refuge and community-based support, delivering in a trauma-informed way for adults, children and young people, tailored to individual needs. Our 19 refuges offer safe, welcoming homes, and across our services we provide one-to-one support and group activities to help improve their safety and to meet others with similar experiences. We support children process their experiences and help regain a sense of safety.
Our UP2U programmes support those seeking to change abusive behaviours, and we also offer specialist support for victims of stalking. We also deliver training to professionals, including the hair and beauty industry, to recognise domestic abuse and connect people to specialist support services.

Senior Data Manager
Bowel Cancer UK is the UK’s leading bowel cancer charity. We’re determined to save lives and improve the quality of life of everyone affected by bowel cancer. We support and fund targeted research, provide expert information and support to patients and their families, educate the public and professionals about the disease and campaign for early diagnosis and access to best treatment and care.

Job Summary for Senior Data Manager
- A senior data leadership role sitting at the heart of the Data & IT function, reporting to the CFO and working in close partnership with the Senior IT Manager — with this role taking lead responsibility for all things data
- Own and lead the charity's data strategy, working collaboratively with senior leadership to shape a forward-looking, insight-driven organisation
- Take full ownership of CRM operations (Raiser's Edge NXT), driving adoption, optimisation and continuous improvement to ensure the charity is truly getting the most from the system — unlocking the data, trends and insight within it
- Hold overall responsibility for the Charity Automation Roadmap, driving systems integration and automation to reduce manual effort and improve data flows across the organisation
- Develop Power BI dashboards and reporting frameworks that bring data to life — putting actionable insight into the hands of teams across the organisation
- Build strong, collaborative relationships across fundraising, finance and operational teams — translating business needs into practical technology solutions
- Champion data quality, GDPR compliance and governance, embedding robust standards and processes organisation-wide
- Line manage and develop a small data team, with a coaching-focused approach to performance and growth
