Job description

The Database Officer is an interesting and varied role based within a very busy Fundraising team at St. Luke’s Hospice, Thurrock. The post holder will work closely with the Database Manager to develop and maintain the Supporter database, ensuring all income received is accurately and promptly processed, data quality is maintained and training and assisting colleagues with their data requirements (e.g. data selections, analysis and insight). 

You should be highly organised with impeccable attention to detail and a proven history of effectively delivering multiple deadlines concurrently. You should also have a degree in computer science/information systems/technology or equivalent relevant experience and be a motivated, innovative and creative self-starter with excellent communication and IT skills.
